The Wookiee Nerf was Too Much

It has now become routine. An Officer with a Blurrg can take out a Wookiee at range before a bowcaster on overload can take out an Officer. The damage dropoff on the bowcaster is way too much. If an NT-242 can take out a target with one headshot, a bowcaster ought to be able to do the same thing, albeit with a lesser range. Not just point blank, but the damage rolloff shouldn't start til about 50 meters. Granted, the wookiees were game breaking before the nerf, but now they're just useless. Even the overload sucks! A Death Trooper overload can kill a wookiee in two seconds, but try taking out a Death Trooper with a wookiee. It takes FOREVER.

    That is false since patch 1.2.

  • They didn’t need to nerf the wookie they needed to buff the Death Trooper.

    Are you talking about 1v1? This is a team based game, where are the officers on your team? Wookie & flametroopers are anti-hero, palp or maul tries bum rushing a room with a good wookie user surrounded by team, he's gonna die or come out with a lot of health gone. Same with flametroopers and a pushing Luke/Rey/Yoda.
  • Not everyone plays GA, no hero’s in blast or stike.

    That is false since patch 1.2.

    It wasn't false when it happened to me. I, a Wookiee, shooting at an officer down a corridor. My little pea-shooter bowcaster hit him three times. Plink. Plink. Plink. Him with his Blurrg. Bam-bam. Dead.
  • Agree....wookies still way better than death troopers.

    I don't even bother buying those death troopers. Their grenades are the real difference....Those death trooper grenades are worse than regular thermals.....way worse.
