Let me buy guns

I'm never going to get 200 kills as specialist with the DLT or IQA-11 and I really think being able to use the A280 would make me use that class more often.

Also, no more trooper crate rewards for milestones? why?

Get stealth and personal shield. Rack up the melee kills. Don’t even need to fire a shot. Easy weapons.
  • yea, I was trying that earlier but it will still take forever and i'm gonna die an overwhelming amount of the time. i don't care about k/d, but it's just not very fun.

Lets just buy everything in the game. No more progressions, just buy star cards and buy purple ones to.

IQA-11 is a pretty good gun it kills specialist with 1 shot to the head. Just pull it out (giggity) every time on crait or hoth and anti snipe, you should get those kills fairly fast. That's how i did it anyway.
  • i was surprised i got 50 kills as i barely touch the class, but i guess that's a testament to why i should keep it up... still, though
  • But for real though, just use the default Specialist sniper (Valken for Republic etc.), I have all the snipers with all attachments unlocked, but I still use the default one as I think that one is way better than the other snipers. I always get more kills with it as well, only time I use other snipers is if I’m attacking vehicles and need the last sniper with Disruptor Shot
  • I used the IQA until I unlocked the NTR or whatever it is. I don't remember the name, just its punch. It has the highest risk/reward out of the sniper rifles, and I enjoy those types of guns far more than the easy-peasy fire-until-win weapons like the Blurrg. If I consistently do well with a weapon that takes work to get A kill, I feel accomplished when I get a lot of them.
  • On another note, if/when new guns are added, using skill points to unlock the weapon and the attachments would be a great idea, right? Just getting a weapon point when you level up yourself, not a unit or vehicle, but profile level up, since we're apparently going to be able to past the new cap later on for credits like the last game. Just get a weapon unlock to give you the ability to do whatever with it specifically for new weapons.

Its not that hard, just play blast or strike. You can get plenty of kills there
  • I guess I won't have a better chance to brag about this game, but....the NT-242's Disruptor shot is the absolute last thing I have to unlock as far as weapons go in the game. I have grinded hard to unlock everything else, that one attachment is the last one I have to unlock. And I'm taking my time, since there are weapons that can make better use of the ion/disruptor stuff.

I think that part about the credits and leveling was only for the very last level gap between 69 and 70. As far as I have seen, nothing past 70 has been clearly stated yet. The skill points we get as directly linked to class level, which is directly linked to star cards unlocked and their ranks. Allowing us to use those points for weapons and their upgrades would potentially throw all of that out of wack. They could raise the level cap to allow for these points and even things out, but they could cause more problems, like pushing fans away due to how long of a grind it would be to unlock it all. The weapons are also tiered for a reason, as the final weapon and its attachments are supposed to be the most powerful versions (though a lot of us may disagree that these weapons and their uses are situational based on circumstances).
  • People got too used to whatever thing is meta and now are unable to use anything else, hence why the last weapon is garbage in their eyes. The skill requirement on them is higher than the rest, so of course everyone will see it useless and situational because you can't use it for easy kills at all times.

Just keep plugging away with the IQ. It really is a good weapon once you unlock the mods. It doesn't take too long to get the NT. The A280 in my experience is disappointing and could do with some tweaking.
  • didn't they just lower what it takes to get guns again with this update anyways? how is this even an issue

Try playing Blast with the IQA lol. It sounds dumb, but if you get in close enough the recoil doesn't really matter, and might even get you a headshot. Also you can take people out from further away easily, especially if they don't see you. Also run Stealth, Personal Shield and use Infiltration a lot (Hardened is probably best because you take less damage and you can upgrade it so the cool down is shorter.

Also a joke that apparently went so far over your head, it ended up in the Outer Rim.
