DICE please allow us to convert back to Credits - I'm realizing I have way too many Crafting Parts

I followed the FAQ advice that states: If one is more concerned with gameplay content than cosmetics, that that he/she should convert Credits to Crafting parts. Having converted the bulk of my Credits, I now I have 15,080 Crafting Parts, which equals 400 Skill Points

With the way progression is now working, I will have very little left to unlock by the time April roles around. It moves quickly. I'm already completely purpled out with some heroes, and almost there with officer, assault, and enforcers - not far away with anything actually. A week ago I had about 220 slots to spend skill points on, now I have about 170 points left to use to get everything to Epic, and this is just a week in to 2.0. In a few weeks I'll be under 100 for sure.

Unless you are planning to release a tremendous amount of new content (which would be amazing and is what I'm praying for), please let us convert back at a rate of 1SP to 1000k credits, since this is how much the game awards if you have already unlocked all cards when you level up.

I'm clearly concerned that I won't have anywhere to spend my Crafting Parts and didn't realized how the delay between the currency freezing and ability to use my CPs would actually play out. I don't want a heap of dead currency...

Save for new heroes and reinforcement classes.

    Droidekas. Greivous, obi wan.

@XXXO77O4906 do you know if we will be able to save the skill points that we get from the conversion of cp to skill points for later characters, etc.

I've been asking this around. One person said it'll remain there for ever in till you finally use them. Still I'm not taking anyone's word for it. I'll wait and see for myself.

    - vader dies without his oxygen mask due to not having enough credits to buy his cosmetic Darth Vader from episode threes ending.

One of the devs said in one of the threads that CPs while be around for a while, but not forever. We will be given advanced notice of when CPs will be retired.
  • Yeah, I'm wishing I'd spent more parts, particularly on heroes. Sure I'll get them into skill points someday, but then I'm stuck behind the level of the hero, and I don't play heroes that often. Grinding the troopers up hasn't been bad. Starfighter either. But heroes...ugh.

Long story short: No, you shouldn't get a backwards conversion.
Long story: I think that the FAQ explained it very well before the patch. Also I don't think that a skill point is worth 1mio credits like you mentioned. Moreover, those SP are wildcards and can be used for everything. On the ohter side, the skill points which you earn from leveling a class are only usable for that class.
Btw you got for the opening of crates rewards for dublicated star cards as well as star cards. A backwards conversion would imply that those dublicated star cards rewards and star cards need to be removed. Consequently, NO TO BACKWARDS conversion.
Otherwise, if DICE provides a backwards conversion then DICE has to reimburse people who didn't converted all their credits before the patch.

Yeah now that i think about it it's not a conversion as because of duplicates you would have bought the crates with varying prices
