    Battle of Jedha

    5vqjhdpzaz3v.jpg

    Rebels vs Empire

The Empire has arrived to Jedha City with a Star Destroyer and a bunch of troops so they can steal the kyber crystals, located inside the Jedi Temple. The Rebels are helping Two Tubes' troops defending the Temple.

    The objectives

    [Phase 1]
When the game starts, the Empire spawns inside the city with 100 troops. And the Rebels spawn next to the Temple. The Empire have to attack the main door of the Temple by planting a bomb and exploding it. So they can go inside

    [Phase 2]
Once they are inside, they have to shut down the security controls so the vault door opens, while are the same time, defending from Rebels. Opening the vault door will gain them access to the kyber crystals.

    [Phase 3]
After collecting the crystals, they have to make it the transport ships, so they can get transported back to the Star Destroyer. But the Rebels are in the way, and they are trying to stop the Empire.

(Empire) Once phase 3 starts, you cannot respawn after you die. You also lose 3 troops for every teammate that dies. For example: you have 100 troopers left, but 10 people on your team dies. That means you have 70 troopers left.

    [Phase 4]
The troops of the Empire are inside the 3 transport ships. As soon as "all" of the players have made it inside the ships. They can have the ability to spawn as a starfighter or one of the transport ships. The Empire's starfighters have to protect the transport ships from Rebel starfighters which is consisting of bots and players, but don't worry, it's a short trip.

(Empire) The amount of troopers you had left from Phase 3, determins how many starfighters you will have left. Let's say you have 70 troopers left from Phase 3, that means you have 80 starfighters left. If you had 0 troops remaning from Phase 3, you have only 20 starfighters (1 for each player). You always gain 10 more starfighters than your remaning troops, unless you have a number under 10, then you automatically gain 20 starfighters.
If all your starfighters are destroyed, you lose, and if all your transport ships die, you also lose.

    [Phase 5]
After the Empire has made it into the Star Destroyer, the Rebels follow them inside. At the last phase, the Rebels are trying to find the control room, where they can shut the shield gates down, making the Star Destroyer vulnerable to explosions.

The Empire has to defend the control room, and with only 3 minutes left on them, the Rebels have to act fast before the Star Destroyer leaves. If they shut the shield gates down in time, they escape and watch the Star Destroyer blow up by Y-wings (Victory), but if they fail, the Star Destroyer leaves with them inside (Defeat).

If the Empire doesn't manage to complete phase 1 & 2, they start with phase 3 immediately with 30 troops regain.

The objective when phase 1 & 2 are failed

The Empire didn't manage to collect the kyber crystals because of the powerful defence from the Rebels. Their next mission is to get to the Star Destroyer and blow up the city.

(The Empire plays Phase 4 & 5 exactly like they do when they are winning, but with a different meaning)

The Rebels have to fly up to the ship and go to the weapon system control room. Where they can shut down the Star Destroyer.

If the Empire manages to explode the city, it becomes a draw (help me out), but they get a Defeat if the Rebels manage to shut down the Star Destroyer.

Very nice concepts! Love the Eadu map! And your idea of battling in Coruscant 1313 level is great!
@Junus That looks very interesting! I would love to see Jedha exploding!
  • And all of these for arcade.

A+ on that Jedha map design!

Absolutely, I would not want to limit anyone’s single or split screen experience from good bonus content

I'd love to see these added with a conquest mode. I don't know about everyone else but playing a mode like GA or Blast feels like I'm limited to the maps I'm playing. I'd like to explore the maps as much as possible. A basic conquest mode would be good for me. Maybe also galactic conquest as well, it a where you take over planets and deploy your star ships and ground troops etc.
Conquest would certainly be ideal for all of these maps because it’d honestly be way better than GA. Here’s hoping they will finally put in the mode that should’ve been in all along.

  • Omg yes please!
  • Great concepts! Really liking Utapau!
We need a Tier System for the Heroes. It would justify the "op-ness" of Vader over Han and Chewbacca. It would cost much more to unlock Vader, and would require you to save a lot more than for other heroes and vehicles, but it would be rewarding in the end...

    • Unknown Regions: Resurgent Battlecruiser
      n741icuxxx7e.jpeg
      Era: New Republic
Mode: GA, and Blast/Strike/HvV in Phase 1 area
Objective Layout: Phase 1: Resistance boarding party have 3 minutes to eliminate all enemies in the hangar bay(50 maybe?) to secure the area/Phase 2: Capture the barracks and the security room/Phase 3: Activate the Hyperdrive at the terminal override hack point/Phase 4: Capture the command bridge to successfully hijack the Star Destroyer
    • Scarif: Garrison Complex
      bcgdeh74w29k.png
      8co31lytnqdy.png
      Era: Galactic Civil War
      Mode: GA
Objective Layout: Phase 1: Rebels spawn at the U-Wing inside the shield gate hangar and must place 3 explosive charges to disable the gate/Phase 2: Remaining living Rebels will be put on a 10 second timer and auto moved to the surface, anyone who died will enjoy the short cutscene ride in the U-Wing to the surface to spawn at Docking Pad 7, they then must capture the training camp and the TIE Striker launch pad/Phase 3: Capture the Garrison deployment center to buy Rogue One enough time to acquire the plans to the Death Star
    • Tatooine: Jabba’s Palace
      pkntyx5mj2c0.jpeg
      Era: Galactic Civil War

    • Polis Massa: Medical Facility
      wumbi9578r4t.jpeg
      Era: Galactic Civil War
      Mode: GA and HvV
Objective Layout: Phase 1: An AT-AT is deployed on the Asteroid surface, the Empire must escort it from inside the complex along the surface tunnels by destroying rebel missile turrets. The turrets have a lock on like the launcher pickups do, this is the only way to damage the AT-AT. You can not go outside or shoot outside since you’d you know, die being sucked into space/Phase 2: Download rebel records at 3 hack points/Phase 3: Capture the Medical Facility Command center to root out the Rebel scum from this Asteroid

What kind of person would I be to not show Starfighter Assault any love? Here’s what I’d like to see.
    • Yavin IV: Death Star
      b13ncewrnv7r.png
      Era: Galactic Civil War
Objective Layout: Phase 1: Rebels must disable the Star Destroyer(Reactor, Bridge, Engines) to open a path to the Death Star itself/Phase 2: Attack the shield generators on the Death Star itself to weaken the defenses/Phase 3: Eliminate TIE squadron leaders(12-15) to disrupt surface defense/Phase 4: Random squad will be selected for the Trench Run, only that squad will be able to enter the trench. Entering the trench without selection will be out of bounds. Complete the Run to save the galaxy
    • Cato Neimoidia: Bridge Cities
      857ia3kti86l.png
      Era: Clone Wars
Objective Layout: Phase 1: Clones must destroy 2 Munificent-Class Frigates to allow the Venator cruisers to move into attack positions/Phase 2: Protect your 3 light frigates from a rear ambush, phase complete at 3 minutes with at least 1 frigate intact/Phase 3: Destroy the Providence Destroyer. You must knock out the shields to gain an attack window for varying hardpoints(Engines, port and aft gun batteries, bridge)
    • Starkiller Base: Main Gun
      cll1tcghwzbt.jpeg
      Era: New Republic
Objective Layout: Phase 1: Resistance must eliminate TIE squadron leaders(12-15) to be able to break through to the attack Starkiller directly/Phase 2: Attack 5 power relays to create an overload in the main gun/Phase 3: Descend into the trenches to assault 3 inner conduits(a conduit is on a 25 second timer before it is no longer attackable, switching to a separate conduit. It would work in a cycle until only one remains. When one is destroyed the remaining two have a faster and reduced countdown before switches) to fully overload Starkiller and set it into inevitable self-destruction.
    • Coruscant: ”Guarlara”
      hwgagjdozfa8.jpeg
      Era: Clone Wars
Objective Layout: Phase 1: Escort the Venator Star Destroyer “Guarlara.” Clear the path by destroying 2 Munificent Frigates/Phase 2: Disable the tractor beams on the incoming Lucrehulk battleship to continue set course for the Invisible Hand/Phase 3: Destroy the structural weakpoints on the Recusant Destroyers to break them apart and continue the course/Phase 4: Assist the Guarlara in a full broadside against the Invisible Hand. Mission fail if the Guarlara is destroyed. Assist by destroying turrets, gun batteries, and other structural points to lower the Invisible Hand’s total health/Phase 4: 3 minutes to finish off the Invisible Hand for another happy landing
    • Jakku: Home One
      kkxjfl0syt1t.jpeg
      Era: Galactic Civil War
Objective Layout: Phase 1: Buy Admiral Ackbar time by knocking out the shield generators on the 2 incoming Star Destroyers/Phase 2: Assist the Rebel ground forces by destroying deployed AT-AT’s. Multiple waves of deployments, 3 AT-AT’s each. Lowered health from GA/Phase 3: Finish off the Super Star Destroyer Ravager as it enters the atmosphere. Attack the engine banks as they’d become vulnerable, then hardpoints within the surface superstructure to turn the tide for the Rebellion

How can you come up with so many ideas?
  • Absolutely loving the Starfighter Assault maps, especially Cato Nemoidia

I really hope they add some, if not all of your ideas at some point. These are all awesome! And I like the detail that you've gone into with the phases for GA. I imagine these would be good maps for Conquest, too. Just have the whole map open, teams spawn at each end, they have to progress and capture the points.

Some more great ideas there! Although I thought the Goazon Badlands were on Tatooine? If that's the same one from the previous game... I may be wrong though.

I think it’s Tatooine as well
I always thought it was Tatooine when I played BF2015 as well, but when I looked up the name of the map it turns out it is in fact on Jakku

Didn't know that either. I always based it off of those little huts that are in the map, because they were also on the Jundland Wastes map.

The map you may be thinking of in particular with all the huts is Raider Camp. I know on Goazan Badlands on the Rebel spawn they had supplies but they were just covered up with something above it.

Oh right. Now I've seen the image of the map, you're right, I was thinking of Raider Camp.

Yeah... as much as I LOVE Mos Eisley, I really miss Raider Camp for HvV. And Jundland Wastes, for Walker Assault. And Jabba's Palace, the Garage, and Dune Sea Exchange, and Jawa Refuge... I just really like Tatooine : )

Jundland Wastes was awesome. So was the indoor one for Jabba's Palace. I loved those maps. I hope we can get them back. At least Jabba's Palace. Those maps never got old to play on and usually had some pretty intense battles.

Amazing list! Hope some maps will make it into the game! For starfighter assault I really wish for a revamped battle of Scarif (this time including Profundity & hammerheads). Plus would like to see a few of the small maps of Bf2015 make a return in blast & arcade (Endor Swamp crash scene/Sllust Sulfur Fields/Hoth Ice Caves/Tattooine Dune Sea Exchange)
