Customization

Why there’s no human male options for the specialist, officer and jumptroopers (and I’m not machist, I only want to play as a male character)

Replies

  • Yes, but in the previous game we were able to change that, that’s what I mean
  • It would seem that the resources for giving gender options for most troopers from the last game were redirected to class options.

  • I think they have enough resources to do it anyway (that’s my personal opinion)
And it would just add more customization options
  • Maybe. I wouldn't know. My personal opinion is that you should embrace your anima.

  • Embrace my anima? I don’t understand, what does that mean?

It's kind of nice to see that people on the opposite side of the typical situation are being put into the same conditions I seemed to face so long ago. (These days, I don't care so much what gender I'm associated with, because I know what I identify as and that's all that matters. I don't care if someone calls me ma'am or sir. Or if my Rodian is male or female.)
But at the same time... No one should have to endure the circumstances, if it's not necessary...?

For now, what we have, is a decent *compromise.* (Some females probably want female versions of a particular Class/Alien, just as some males want male versions of a particular Class/Alien. Seems fair, if we can't all just choose.)

Maybe, but it would be better if everyone has the chance to chose
  • They really should have options for both, on all of the classes and subclasses. That is why I went with an Aqualish for my Resistance Specialist.

  • Cannot really tell with an Aqualish, especially with the alien voice.

Yes, indeed. It would be a welcome luxury~
(If it's not a future possibility though; I'm okay with what we have, currently, for the reasons above.)

I’m not very happy with the actual options but I won’t die if we don’t get it
