TIE Interceptor laser cannon fixes needed
Let's just start with the facts, it's awful. It overheats far too quickly and doesn't put out enough damage to make up for it. Doing some damage/Star Card testing in Arcade, the Interceptor's cannons allow for 12 shots with no card bonus, and only add 1 extra shot per Star card rarity bonus. The standard X-wing fighter takes 7 shots to be destroyed. A Y-wing takes 10. This, combined with the staggering overheat rate, means if you miss any shots, you might not even be able to destroy a regular fighter. You have to be directly on point at all times to get any sort of positive return on your attacking attempts. I'm confused why the TIE needs to have the quad-cannon fire as a base instead of an ability like it was last game. Replace the concussion missile with the quad-cannon ability and it'd make it far more viable as an interceptor and in more situations, period.
