Valid point.
Considering they said porting takes almost the same time as creating some new, they could just build the content from scratch.
I wouldn't be surprised if Rogue One content comes to the game as we get closer to the release of the Cassian & K-2SO series.
There is nothing wrong with the rebels show, so don't try and ruin it for other people, just because some people didn't like it, and the clone wars show is stupidly repetitive in every episode.
Baby Yoda is love, Baby Yoda is life.
Baze would be a great Hero. They could bring Jyn & Krennic back too.
Dice, apparently

My guess of the upcoming seasons:
December 2019-January 2020: ST season (TROS content and maybe some stuff from Resistance Season 2, since show ends next year once it collides with the events of TROS, and Galaxy's Edge if Batuu is in TROS)
February-March 2020: Mandalore cross-era season (Content from 2 eras: PT-TCW Season 7 & OT-The Mandalorian Season 1)
Summer 2020: Rogue One season (ties-in with Cassian & K-2SO series coming later)
Fall 2020: Rebels season (ties-in with post-ROTJ Rebels sequel series)
Late 2020: Marvel Comics season (ANH-ESB timeline gap is going to be filled by Marvel in December 2019 anyway) & The Mandalorian Season 2
2021:
Cassian & K-2SO series,
post-ROTJ Rebels sequel series
Obi-Wan TV series,
Crimson Dawn Solo sequel series on Disney+ (more Solo content?),
and maybe more TCW content (in addition to Lucasfilm finishing all the remaining scripts if TCW helps Disney+'s first year launch be successful).
Bonus: Alan Tudyk's creative placeholder name for the series- #K2-Fast K2-Furious: the Cassian Andor Story!
The future of Star Wars for the next 3 years is TV, until the release of the Benioff and Weiss trilogy's first film in 2022.

woah. hopefully we could see these upcoming shows get content too.
Some people have been dissing the idea of content outside the movies because of Battlefront 2015's DLC content and saying that they're inferior to the films themselves.
But that's not the intention of the devs for this game, they're pretty much fans of the entire canon if you look at their activity on social media and I believe because they're not even talking about a new Battlefront installment at this point (Disney and Lucasfilm will have to give approval on it before letting DICE and EA even going forward with pre-design talks), I think they'll eventually plan to bring more non-film canon content to grow this game.
They basically have untapped potential that we've yet to seen unleash on the game, the movies are basically a sliver of what the Star Wars canon universe represents, especially once Disney+ gets going with the rising slate of Star Wars TV (both animation and live-action) and the next film after TROS arrives 3 years later in 2022, the Benioff and Weiss trilogy's first film.
Yes! The rebels show i'm guessing will probably be the next OT era update after a rouge one season of updates, because the rebels show and rouge one are very much connected and go hand and hand. Then after that would be the resistance show and then probably the mandalorian show, and so on and so forth. Oh what will the Benioff and Weiss trilogy be about, and what era will it be taking place in???
Oh... it is beautiful

The content we need.
The Benioff and Weiss trilogy is rumored to be Old Republic era and I think it could be touching upon:
Tarre Viszla, the first Mandalorian inducted into the Jedi Order, and ruler of Mandalore
The Mandalorian-Jedi War (Mandalorians steal Tarre Viszla's Darksaber from the Jedi Temple during it)
Modified as of this news:

Once again, kiddo, you’re making things up to suit your wants. ROTS is the only confirmed content of your list.
Don't you mean TROS?
Yes.
Yeah. Would be cool to see content from the ones after TROS.
Yeah! i wish the clone wars show sent deeper into the history of the dark saber, but it didn't. Thankfully the rebels show actually went into its history, and that it was created crafted during the time of the old republic, thus confirming that they haven't completely abandoned the old republic era, which could mean that characters like, darth revan, darth nihilus, darth bane most especially, darth malgus and darth malak, could all be canon some day. Though i wish the clone wars show, went into other things that were in the old republic.
I'm am fine with rouge one, but all that stuff that is listed here is a lot of stuff, too much stuff at that, and people do care about the rebels show. To tell you how boring i find rouge one, i own it on DVD, though i am either on my phone for more then half of the movie, or i just fast forward to the battle of scariff, because it's the only good thing about it, but the rest of the movie is kinda boring, though i still like it.
The whole CW conflict for me doesn't do the rest justice that's all, I'd rather it wasn't there, or rather.... The story told totally differently
Well, but at least clones and droids now found out they were just perishable pawns in a war that was part of a coup d'etat by Sheev and now are on the same side, some of whom are now joining to fight the Empire in the Galactic Civil War.
Pablo Hidalgo said in Rebels Recon, Kalani might've ended up selling his tactical strategy service to the Alliance by the timeline of ANH.
I think that's what I don't like tbh. Using clones and robots it totally dehumanised war. Which is all about personal sacrifice and millions of individual stories.. and ultimately tragic.
Dumbing war down to clones and robots, then putting it in a badly animated cartoon just totally rubs me up the wrong way.
Well, at least Lucasfilm sees value in everything they put out, as long as the canon keeps intertwining, they can make sure they can easily bring characters in and out of many mediums as possible for specific storytelling purposes.
But having clone veterans like Rex helping the Alliance is pretty much just like Saw Gerrera jumping from the Clone Wars to being the leader of the Partisans to fight the Empire. It's pretty common to see people who had experience with war in the past to come back fighting in other wars.
The fact that everything counts in the canon, makes the experience for me more immersive than it could be. If it weren't for TCW and Rebels, we wouldn't see Hondo one day helping Chewie and the Resistance grow again post-TLJ on Batuu:
Well. I'm fine with the droids for the darkside, because then we wouldn't have gotten the great droideakas, but i don't like how they gave the clones personalities, to me that was just wasted efforts and they were running out of things to make clone wars episodes about.
Rouge one content for all of 2020? That wouldn't make much sense, there is not that much stuff to add from rouge one, not enough content for a full year.
2020 will be more than just Rogue One, that's just only the last of the movies DICE needs to fill into the game, and beyond that, the Star Wars canon universe has more to offer to the devs for future game content.
Yeah. Hopefully we get some Rogue One content for 2020.
"Cassian Andor Series Not Going Forward at Disney Plus (EXCLUSIVE)"
But the article's writer's explanation was:
Except that was debunked by another writer later:
The real headline of the article is:
"‘Rogue One’ Writer Tony Gilroy Joins Cassian Andor ‘Star Wars’ Series at Disney Plus (EXCLUSIVE)"
https://variety.com/2019/tv/news/cassian-andor-series-tony-gilroy-diego-luna-disney-plus-1203370479/
Tony Gilroy's one of the writers that wrote the final draft of Rogue One from John Knoll (one of the heads of ILM and creator of Photoshop) 's and Gary Whitta (a writer of Rebels episodes for Season 3 and 4 and the author of the TLJ Marvel comic adaptation)'s first draft of the screenplay and he also supervised the reshoots of the film alongside Gareth Edwards.
The faster the Cassian and K-2SO series moves forward to production, the closer we'll probably get Rogue One content for the game to tie-in with the release of the series.
Update-there was probably some truth to that original headline:

It’s not even porting, scarif was in the campaign. It however was built for single player so they’d probably start from scratch in all honesty.
It seems like CS maps are a tad easier to build so maybe we will see a new maps a tad more frequently
Hopefully it will come sooner than later.
Yeah. Some original trilogy maps for CS would be cool to see.
I have spoken.
