More Issues Arising with Heros

Anyone notice any of these changes that are not mentioned in the patch notes:
  1. luke can move around a lot faster now and evade more without receiving the same delay once they have used several strafes in a row. It seems like he can go from lightsaber rush, to side strafe/evade, to jumping now without out really being delayed too much in between each move and he can almost continually go from one move to the next without stopping. I was playing against someone today that kept jooking my teammates and I was the only one that could get him as darth vader. It wasn't lag...it was more like luke can constantly keep moving without delay, which i know shouldn't be the case, but that was causing my standard lightsaber attack to keep missing all the time as vader. Even though I had stamina to lock onto him.
  2. It also seems that you can't hit people from behind as much anymore with standard lightsaber attack if you have a little stamina left. Could also be attributed to luke constantly moving as mentioned above. My lightsaber swings kept going through the character before they moved, but it didn't hit them. It's almost like you have to lock onto the player now with a decent amount of stamina left in order to hit them.....which I don't thing is suppose to happen. I think that the lock on is just deactivated when your stamina is depleted. If your standing within range of the person, so that you swing can still go through the person and you are swinging in the direction of the person, then it should still hit them.

  • Did you realise that Luke's first hit with his lightsaber causes no damage?
Did you realise his force push is not working as intended?
Did you realise Vader's Force Choke most times breaks through blocks?
Did you realise Yoda's unleashed ability is broken/ is not working as intended?
Did you realise Rey dash strike has or had a bug, that all hit after the first one drains HP unless they were killed?

What I wanna say with this, it might be bugs and no changes.
    Greetings

    1. Yeah the force push abilities for both yoda and luke are bugged along with vaders force choke. That has been around for a while.
    2. Rey's dash attack constant damage has been fixed a while ago.
    3. My point was that the lightsabers don't seem to contact as much anymore, which is starting to cause most all of the heros to not work anymore which wasn't really a problem until this or the last update.

Dice please focus on fixing the heros!!!!!! General Grievous is really terrible to play with all of bugs and most of the heros have some major problems as well!
  • After this patch, there were noticeable bugs esp with hitboxes. I did notice Luke was a bit more fluid too - less delay time between his transitions. I'm sure Rey killed me a few times by swinging 30m away from me. VERY BUGGED.

Han's detonite charge is absolutely broke - it wouldn't detonate in air or on surface contact at least 50% of the time. VERY annoying. Or sometimes it would detonate but you could only tell from other falling down. No explosion animation.

I also noticed a bug where the rocket trails from Boba's rocket attack were stationary images, showing the trajectory of his missiles. Very Matrix-y!

Last night, I took down Vader and Grievous in succession on Crait as a resistance grunt. For once, I thought, they finally knocked down the Heroes a notch as they are normally too powerful, too overwhelming and influence the battles too much - in my opinion. Bossk, especially so. Now, I am worried it may have been due to a bug, and that Dice might fix it instead of giving me the gratification.

I'm tired of seeing Heroes rush in to the middle of a decisive battle point and just totally tip the scales just because. No skill necessary. Just grab Bossk, sit outside a room and lob in dioxis, bombs, etc. Bossk should not be able to jump over walls as if he is some kind of sith or jedi.. he's not even wearing a jet pack like Mr. Fett.

Dice needs to either tone down the Heroes or introduce mid-level characters that a step between Enforcers & Aerial troops and Heroes. Capt. Rex, Capt. Cody, as beefed up grunts (with more HPs (like ~250-300 Hps) and the same weaponry as normal grunts) for 400 - 600 cost. Greedo, Ventrus, maybe a Gamorean warrior for the dark side.

Heroes should not re-pop immediately after one does in the battlefront, either. It should be rare that he/she rejoin the battle once defeated. E.g., increase the cost to re-pop from 4500/6000 to 7500/9000 or more for that same hero to rejoin; especially in the same episode of a battle, it should be impossible.

Grunts should be the mainstay of Galactic Assaults. Heroes have too much influence.

Specialists should also have their weaponry dialed back 10-15% as well, but that's another topic.

Disagree with most all of this. Heros can stop villians and vice versa, Enforcers and vehicles can also stop heros & villians if you know what your doing. Also aerial class can take down sometimes stop heros & villians too.....it just takes a bit of practice. Heros are suppose to tip the tide of battle that is the entire point.

I think that the real problem is that they gave health star cards to all the heros when only a few needed them. Also they need to tone down the full health regen of bossk still. Heros shouldn't be able to constantly charge a target or zone and keep getting health back. They only need to make minor adjustments because now it's even harder for people to get the heros and villians because some can continue to gain health the entire game and never give up the hero. This I don't fully agree with as it use to be where only the best could last the longest.....or people that were camping the back with the hero......there's always problems from one to the next.

I think that current hero setup is a bit better than before because you will see more of the heros on the battlefield now than you use too; however, health regen is a bit too much for all the heros.

The problem with Dioxis and his Bombs could be solved by using friendly fire. There are a lot of fights in HvV that are too chaotic. The same is valid for GA in small rooms.
