Add this cool ''demoralizer'' effect to Vader rage.

I think this idea can be cool. Just add to Darth Vader rage a demoralizer effect for the enemy team, the exact opposite effect of Yoda's presence.

Precisely in this way:

When Vader active focused rage he can negate extra health and extra benefits from enemies infantry and reinforcements in a certain circle area (the same area of Yoda's presence).
Vader focused rage don't have actually a area effect and this can add some fun and team value to the ability.
This can work for balance situations where in choke points heroes buff all the light side team making too hard for the attacker to play the objectives. It can also add interesting tactics to the gameplay, we can consider it a sort of ''demoralizer'' or "terror'' effect in rogue one style. Devs can also add some visual effect, Yoda's presence release a blue wave when activated, on this one instead it can be a red wave, it will add some fun and esthetic elements to a little boring ability as focused rage. What you think @IronSoldier ? Can this be a good suggestion for the developers?

    Our character should be shaking in terror or what? I don't see how you can apply this into the gameplay, it just bad, is this a survival horror game ?

    thanks, yes it can work even with dark aura, but i think is better for focused rage. Dark aura already have a area effect and it is already a cool ability to use. And it is better that they don't touch Palpatine anymore ahahah :D

    No, the character wouldn't be shaking in terror. I think you don't understand, my bad english don't help sorry.
    Anyway it is very easy, the enemies inside of the area simply lose their extra health from their allies buffs. It is the opposite of Yoda's presence. When Yoda active it, he put +200 health on his allies inside the area of the effect, while here Focused Rage do the opposite, it cancel the extra health from them. Extra health effect on enemies should just disappear. I think it is pretty easy for the devs add this effect, it is the same of Yoda's presence.

    They should fix stamina overdrive, this game is so broken because of this.
    I would like to see Vader's rage like an explosion pushing back players around.

    We definitely need some Dark Side team players. Whether that's new characters (Krennic, Tarkin, etc.), or retooled current charcters (Vader, the Emperor, Grievous, PHASMA...), the Dark Side should give it's team members some benefits. However... if that happens, we will NEED at least one or two Lightside characters with 800 base health. I vouch Chewbacca and Kenobi, but new characters with 800 health would be great too. Please let Mace Windu get in the game...

    Yes he need something more for Galactic Assault, he is good sure, but not no more so special after heroes like Maul and Grievous have coming with health cards.

    But we can have 2 dark side users with these abilities. Vader can be the dark Side Yoda guy, while Krennic or Veers can be the Finn counterpart. i prefer this way.

    I only play Vader nowadays because I just feel like being Vader. I fully expect a quick and painful death, but if I can take out a dozen or so troops before I get lit up, I feel accomplished.

    That shouldn't be how Vader feels when selecting a hero. I agree with you.

  • I actually like the idea. I would say that it should cut the buffs in half rather than completely removed, otherwise Vader trumps Yoda and Finn every time.

    Yes, and I can be happy even if they allow him to kill troopers and put on him a 40-50% damage reduction while he use the choke if they don't want allow him to block.

    Yes, and I can be happy even if they allow him to kill troopers and put on him a 40-50% damage reduction while he use the choke if they don't want allow him to block.

    He would either need this, or set back to 1.2.
