EA shouldn't charge people for this game if they no longer support it

It's dishonest to sell a game without any way of knowing how few players are using it, how many expansion modes are unplayable due to low player counts, and how poor they are at policing hacking. I get that they're focused on BF2, but they shouldn't still be accepting anyones' money for a game without any external hint that it's no longer being supported at all.

  • I honestly feel robbed after buying this today
  • Me too. Loved when I played it on my PS4 which I sold. Had BF2 also but always liked the first one better so I decided to buy it today for PC. I simply cant connect. I feel robbed too. Gonna try to get my money back.

Well, the same you can say for Star Wars Battlefront II (2005), anyway there are players that would prefer to buy and play SWBF 2005. The same for SWBF 2015. Players still play these games and servers are still online. So, there is no point to remove games from the stores. Plus both games have low price.

The og battlefront 2 still gets patches, the 2015 game doesn't

    There are only two updates:

    [3 JANUARY, 2018] https://steamcommunity.com/app/6060/announcements/

    [October 02, 2017] https://www.gog.com/forum/general/star_wars_battlefront_ii_now_supports_crossplay_e3898

    That's all.

SWBF 2015 got a lot of content and updates and ofc now this game doesn't get any updates, because the team is focused on SWBF II (2017), they can't develop both game at the same time for obvious reasons. It's not only EA and DICE. Most developers do the same.

Fully understandable of course but you guys should focus on bf15, it’s light years better than the 2nd tier bf2.

They should made it filled with AI and new one also, when there wasn't enough players. I might play SWBF1 again while I am waiting big offline mode for SWBF2. SWBF1 was great game and more Star Wardish than this new one.
