TRIPLE XP EVENT: TROOPERS
Start Time: Jan 11th - 00:01 UTC
End Time: Jan 14th - 06:00 UTC

January continues to be the month of triple experience with a special event revolving around Troopers. Jump into Extraction, Blast or Strike to earn bonus experience for all your troopers and reinforcements.

  • Extraction you say... would be awesome to get some clones/maps in on this?? Your headline pic has a clone officer...
  • Will it be only for the basic trooper classes? Or will Agent and Jet Trooper earn triple XP as well?

    Yes! It happens every single match on all platforms that I’ve heard. There have been numerous topics about it on here... it has been going on for a while now. It definitely happens on XB1 every time.

    I play XB1 (Strike mostly) and literally the same exact number of people need to be on the server before the countdown begins to start the match. If someone leaves then we all wait. If someone joins we all wait. There is no leeway. Thanks for listening @EA_Tom

  • i'd really like a 3x event for GA vehicles and SFA hero ships! all my soldiers and heroes are maxxed but my hero vehicles are sooo slow to progress and i've played a lot of SFA. The vehicles (artillery) are also sow to move up the ranks
  • your best best is Extraction so you don't have the dreary start wait bug waiting for even team numbers

    What the ROADMAP should look like for 2019/2020:
    “Season” 4: Rogue One
    “Season” 5: Clone Wars Revival
    “Season” 6: Episode IX

    Can Strike and Extraction matches be in one single playlist? I mean, Extraction is not that different from Strike. Both are trooper only modes with complex objectives. I just don't know if they have the same number of players.
    I don't know if the community thinks like I do. Maybe a survey can give an idea of what the community thinks about this idea.

    Well I know that only the Devs know their reality, but daily challenges are updated periodically, and specially when have new heroes, new daily challenges must appear. There's probably an exclusive server for daily challenges.
    Anyway... My suggestion is to unite the player base of Strike and Extraction into one bigger player base.
    Once more: I don't know the opinion of community's majority.

    Exactly. The one class I have been neglecting. Though I might want to get Assault and Heavy up higher so I can have more epic loadouts for them. Officer is already maxed (and has been for a long time).
    Add more Extraction and Hunt maps please!

    Managed to lvl up the vehicles during double exp weeks, Best way to lvl them up is by gteing a bunch off kills to get the max amount of exp.

    Would there be anything for the vehicles such as the speeders and armour? They don't earn much XP per game usually and seen briefed by these XP events and are also fun to play.

    Yeah I know, I have to wait at least 10 minutes to find a game and maybe a team deathmatch would be better for this mode in order to give us a bigger opportunity to actually play as a hero ship

    Hopefully with the XPx3 event next weekend it will see an influx of players. Would also be nice if the format was changed to regular HvV or TDM style but I have my doubts that will ever happen.

    So this strike bug is still happening for the triple XP event. How exciting

    I checked for you and can confirm it's not a bug.

    The alternative to the current scenario is that the match could start with uneven teams. We've previously received feedback that an unbalanced match isn't fun either.

    I thought the agreed/announced solution was that a 2 player minimum for small modes (and 4 for large modes) the other small modes have this and work fine, it's only Strike that need exactly the same number! Also there is nothing stopping extra players joining/leaving after the match has started upsetting the balance.

    Thanks for checking @EA_Tom ! I appreciate it. :smile: But as @DaxStorm mentioned, other small modes have a different starting rule that we all thought applied to Strike as well. I guess there was a miscommunication or many people misunderstood.

    Anyway, most people playing Strike would rather have unbalanced teams than to not play at all/wait forever for the number of players to stay exactly even. Many times someone leaves mid-match anyway or is AFK making the teams unbalanced anyway. Hopefully, this can be changed as others have noted. Thank you

    Also my understanding ( Post to this effect was made by EA Staff/representatives aswell.) The Response is just typical of the disregard for CUSTOMERS. As many( most?) of us here recognise the unbalanced numbers comments was in regards to GA where numbers discrepancies were large. I don't have the time but I doubt there was a post in these Forums talking about numbers in-balance in Strike. And further there ARE posts saying that starting 2 or so down in Strike was not an issue and preferable . What remains a 100% confirmed by EA bug is the Spawn BUG with Obscuring Menus - requiring re-spawn and another delay.
