Everyone discuss how they deal with special forces.

  • My last successful Iden kill was with a Specialist.

Player was pre-occupied on Kamino, firing at Obi-Wan from a lower ledge. I was able to Stinger her several times before being spotted.

Iden activated personal shield and ran towards me. (Whilst stingered I could see her from behind objects), I circled around a pillar and Iden followed me. She unknowingly walked right in to my trip mine as planned, by which time I’d circled back and meleed her in the head.

Han: Her DPS is lower. Detonite and shoot her. Bait the stun if necessary. If shield is up and stun is used shoulder charge.

Leia: Primary fire from distance. Close in and E-11 if you get the chance or she bubbles. You'll easily win that DPS race

Lando: Stun and blast her. Even if she has shield up you can shoot her through it in really close range

Chewie: Stun and blast her. Same as with Lando except you can 3 shot the bubble so it's not even really a consideration

Finn: Activate big deal to get 1050 health and trade blows. Dodge the stun. Don't use deadeye as it reduces DPS

Glowstick: Get close and mash the R2 button. Block or jump the stun droid. Don't turtle in block as she'll punish with alt fire

if you don't know, the successful dodge window her droid is immediately when it leaves her back. If it's already inbound don't bother. It's only .7 seconds and she can do 344 damage max (700ROF means 8 headshots at 38 damage each +40 from the droid itself is the absolute best case) before you can dodge/block again. For sabers literally just block it, jump any time you see the droid or use Yoda presence to ignore it (you'll probably ignore it if you are saber mashing too as doing so seems to mess with the hit detection).

Also don't try to trade shots with the Pulse cannon outside of 50m. It can do 362 DPS if she's hitting headshots. You'll lose.

  • Glowstick: Get close and mash the R2 button.

"how 2 her0" summed up pretty efficiently.
    Heart of darkness beateth, Ultima
    Iron enigma treateth, Ultima
    Shielding light retreateth, Ultima
    Hydaelyn defeated. Ah, Ultima

The fact is that if you're running it's because you suck, and the game shouldn't pander to players who suck.

If the iden is good there’s nothing you can do.
  • Instead of going through every single hero, I will leave it at this: Good, bad, or ugly; any hero can kill any skilled Iden. Will you win every time? No. But if you know how to play, you will win more times than not.

Tip for new players, lightsabers can block blaster fire. As long as you don't spam your swing, use your abilities and stay patient, you should be fine in a 1v1.

And don't get me started on Han. Most skilled Iden's run the other direction when they see my Han. Smart on their part, to be honest.

Just remember that while you can block blaster fire, you can't block explosive damage. That means Chewbacca's explosive damage, and Iden's and Leia's secondary fire in terms of heroes and the explosive mods for the DC-15 and the Blurrg. I'm saying that in case a new player tries to block it and is surprised by the HP decreasing.
May your heart be your guiding key.

    True. Good call out.

Luke and Kenobi are excellent counters...IF you know how to play them. As Luke get the drop on her either from a high jump from above and land on her while flailing your saber in the air, watch her roll patterns while she abuses the stun droid and alt fire. Use Luke's rush ability with the star card that gives you one extra usage of said ability and just dice her up once you know her roll patterns. Another way is by stun locking her from behind then using repulse, and finishing her off with Rush, these strategies are greatly bolstered when you have Luke's damage resistance card for his rush ability as well.

Kenobi makes it all too easy during 1v1's. Use his restricted mind trick and she can no longer roll or stun. She's a headless chicken at that point so you can do whatever kills her the quickest especially when you have the star card that lengthens the duration of restricted mind trick.

Hope that helps a few of my saber wielding friends out there.
