We should have a flash immunity just like a stun.

I love the officer class don't get me wrong just the constant flashing is ridiculous. 1 flash grenade into recharge into flash grenade not to mention if a fellow officer is nearby. That's 4 flash greandes. This should only affect the greandes & not the pistol.

    What if there’s 20 heavies, shall we also stop thermal spam in the same way?

    Illogical argument that’s probably going to lead to more Officer Pistol nerfing. :anguished:

    The smart remark is funny I'll give ya that. Not illogical at all what is illogical is me talking about the flash grenade & you're talking about a pistol. Constant flashing is just as annoying as the stuns were
  • Also explosive radius cards need to be removed and cooldowns shouldn't restart every death.

    My point is, groups of any single profession can spam their abilities so why shouldn’t we have immunity from everything?

    At the end of the day the snare effects of the flash grenade no longer exist. What you’re asking for would make it a useless star card if there is more than one Officer in any encounter.

    I am dead serious. Nade spam from all classes, except specialist, is unbearable in chokepoints, which are like 50% of this game

  • Isn’t there a star card that defuses incoming grenades etc? Just use that if it bothers you.

    Or, you know, turn your back to it. It’s pretty simple. That’s what I do and it works 75% of the time. Just gotta pay attention to the white incoming grenade icon.

    Can't do that as a hero & turning your back does nothing. I could be looking right at s wall & still get flashed.
  • I get eye-burnt by Leia from time to time in HVV but it seems to last for just a short period.

    My experience is the opposite of yours re turning your back but that could be pure chance, circumstances or - of course - bugs. Who can tell with this game? So often it’s a lottery as to whether it works as intended.

  • I'm not sure how I feel about you're suggestion (I'm not against it, but not sure it's the best either) but will say the flash grenade is still the biggest trooper crutch in the game. I leave more lobbies due to this, I'll get hit with a dozen FG (not an exaggeration) before the first phase is even over.

    On maps with choke points, cqc and contained engagement areas, you'll see a bunch of Officers bunch up, and spam FG followed up with recharge command, and throw another FG.

    Running defuser only helps with the first wave of FG, and even then it only catches the first part, and not the parts that splinter out from the FG.
