Fix bugs before adding new content

First of all, this is the first game I started playing in 15 years; its the only reason I bought a console, I bought a more expensive ISP, so it is of my interest the game to shine. Its potential is already there, you just have to offer a consistent experience.

By creating new content you are trying to stick with 'captive' consumers that are mostly unwilling to spend more money on the game. By fixing the game you could draw a larger player base you lost due to a bad experience. The game has to offer fun, adding new maps and game modes is of course pretty cool but useless if it is not funny playing it. Being challenging does not mean it will be unfair or inconsistent.

There are pretty cool matches one can enjoy so much, but many others just leave us such a bad taste that could prevail in someones.

Next video demonstrates, in second 5, a vanguard shot on the head of a clone trooper left his health bar almost full after the shot, while many, many vunguardists 1-shot kill any one (do you want a proof, keep reading):

In second 3 of next video you can see how, on the other hand, a simple A280-CFE one-shot killed the player:

In second 6 of next video you can see the player shot first to the opponent, there's a flash on his helmet; still, such opponent remained full-health and she/he 1-shot killed the player:

Multiply these events exponentially and try to get a kid or a senior involved for first time with the game. Do you think they will remain playing?

I've tried to invite friends and relatives that are also Star Wars fans but they just stop playing when they face this.

The rules themselves do not help; experienced players (experts) have even more powerful weapons and abilities than newbies. The community sees that with some joy, "delicious noobs" they use to arrogantly call them; they don't understand game's lifespan reduces with so nonsensical rules; but it's worse when even those rules are so unstable, depending on the mood of the system, or exploiters, not sure what's the cause because you have not given your opinion to any of us that have expressed this in the forum.

This is the last time I complain about this, similar things happen with force abilities and sabers, but I don't feel productive spending too much time on collecting evidences to be frank.

  • The 1st and 3rd ones can be due to lag. Even if your ping is relatively low. The server has to solve disputes between clients, but clients must play smoothly so you don't feel too much of these interruptions. Then the server favors a situation which seems weird in one of the clients, but that's how things are done. It's possible that a shot you saw hitting the enemy's head didn't even exist in the other client's game. He simply shot first, and the server knows this despite your client not knowing it.

The second one is either more then one shot at the same time from 2 different sources or a hack. I'm not aware of console hacks, but then anything is possible. If it was PC would definetly say it's a hack.

But discrepancies caused by the server's dispute solving arbitration is just the tip of the iceberg in this game. As you play, more and more weird situations will happen, and then you'll realize you're completely and utterly surrounded by BUGs, all types of them, from the game breaking and fun wrecking ones, passing through the exploitable ones, until even the smallest and most difficult to see, but which are there too.

As an example. On Hoth, Galactic Assault, you're using Rey and you saw Boba Fett performing a wall glitch, so you went there to see if you could do it as well to chase him out of bounds. But as you do that, you accidentally get stuck between 2 pipes because you dodged in that uneven terrain and the game made you become stuck. Meanwhile your sound BUGs, and starts to play samples with different volumes, or different pitch from the original, with sudden lack of any sound from time to time. You have a big red mark on the top of the screen which refers to a previous objective that already got completed, but its marker got stuck on screen for buggy reasons.

Luckily, Vader comes by and throws his saber at you, which gets you out of the stuck effect because that's a way to solve that glitch. You then begin to duel him, but as he uses his choke, you block right in time for it to still hurt you, despite not choking you, another BUG.

If you release your block, you'll get the choking stun animation, and you don't want that. So you try to dodge, and succeeds! But this means you triggered the Disabled Block BUG, and now you can't block anything. But you know better! You know that spending all your stamina fixes the disabled block BUG. But how to do that while avoiding a duel with Vader? And unable to Block? You wait for the opening, and Dash Strike him! It works, you leave him on the ground, but suddenly your Dash Strike Animation becomes Rey trying to do Grievous spin around her head! The Reylicopter!

You get out of the fight as some troopers back you up stalling vader. You attack the air a few times to spend all your stamina and get your block back, and it works. And you find Finn! But then Finn is almost dead, and Maul comes dashing with his spin attack, and hits Finn twice with one Spin attack, because Finn was next to a wall and Maul went straight into that wall, which triggers Maul's spin double hit BUG. You got damaged too, but your block is back, so you take on Maul.

The duel is hard, and you realise that your Insight sometimes doesn't outline Maul when used, which is another BUG. But you finally deal the finishing blow with dash strike while maul tried to spin on your direction. He falls near you, his corpse vanishes, but as you get close to that spot, you get hit by an invisible force and dies. Your death screen states you were killed by Maul's spin, another BUG, but the level of the character is 0, and it appears as if he wasn't using any cards. Another BUG.

You rage quit furiously to the menu with your group mate, and start a search for Heroes Vs Villains with your friend in your group. You get in. But when waiting for your friend to enter, you realise he wasn't taken with you to your lobby, despite you both searched together as a group, and someone else fills his spot. You opt to start the game and see if anyone quits. And someones does! But your friend can't join you because he has a waiting in queue stuck message, can't cancel it, and can't follow you, so he has to break group and form it again. But his Origin client crashed, another BUG, but this time on Origin, and he can't do that without restarting the app and the game. Soon you realise you're in a room against 4 premades, and your team is just a bunch of random low leveled players, showing how well matchmaking works.

Then you go do something better of your life.

If you want I can provide GIFs for almost all BUGs I depicted here. And again, this is still the beginning of the iceberg, BUGs can go waaaaay deeper.
