There's No Need For An Emote Wheel For Each Troop Class

8 emotes is more than enough. Having to insert the same 8 for each class just becomes a chore.

Maybe it's just me, but I find the emotes to be near useless. I always do my best to be positive about this game and what the devs do to try keep it going, but I find the emotes and voice lines to be useless and a waste of resources at the moment.
I hope they stop devoting so much time to them right now and keep focusing on balancing and ironing out the bugs, glitches and hackers.

They are indeed useless. They add absolutely nothing to the game.

What we need is orders and communications wheels.

Maybe an icon over players for Officers to know if they need their current combat order like health or blaster cooldown. It would be quicker and won't makes us worry about using a communications wheel.
  • Battlefront games are even worse than Battlefield games when it comes to communication. No voice chat at all (in Battlefield you can voice chat only with your squad) and no quick requests. There is just not enough teamwork in Battlefront in general. The officer gets the most support abilities and is the only character who actually gets points for using his support abilities. Finn doesn't get points for his and neither does the specialist. There should have been things like medkits, ammo crates and revives to encourage teamwork.

Republic Specialist can get a crap load of points on Geonosis. What I do is stay on the cliff and spam Improved Binoculars the whole match targeting the enemy. From that and assist kills I can get a score of 20,000. Even though I'm back there I'm still getting snipe kills from across the map. This one time I saw Anakin using Retribution on Vader and took out Vader with 2 shots.

so the players keep blindly run and gun and forget about teamplay? no the game is already assisting players way too much,
I have disable all HUD assist elements on my profile, all these outlines and crap...

Team mates health is already displayed if I'm not mistaken with BFV...

The upgraded binoculars yes, but does the infiltration spotting enemies for teammates and hiding them for the enemies gives points?

Team gameplay-wise and tactical, Battlefront II lacks a lot of them still.
and the player base doesn't help much with it with the "run and gun die re(spawn)peat mentality"

Thus the Hardcore game mode setting that should be implemented.

No punishment prevent learning and improvements.
