Content basically says they really don't give two flying nickles about the offline player base. That's why Disney is releasing battlefront 2004 2005 on Xbox and earlier battlefront 2005 on PC servers back and running. Ea had no attention in giving us offline.
As much as I hate to say it but look at battlefront 2015 it was a after thought. They thought we wanted a campaign to shut us up. They was wrong because they did not here our cry. So know they are back peddling and we may get something November and not much.
This game was to be the more you pay online the more you get. It was not ever to have offline content but the lack luster campaign.
So everything @Indiana_Jim and @Blazur said is absolutely true and to the word.
Sorry everyone but if you want offline play the originals if you want new stuff play online. Hate to feel like this but heck the truth hurts.
Obligatory...
BF 2015 was an afterthought. AS far as this game is concerned, The devs have already said there will be a large mode for Arcade as well as "much more". They could have a different interpretation than us when it comes to "much more"; however, The devs won't false advertise. We will get plenty more added to Arcade; however, they never specified a release so it could be months away. The pay to win fiasco and lack of offline at launch sucked; however, there is evidence of them turning it around.
Well said as usual.
Thanks. I hope we learn a good amount about Arcade in the announcement.
And they said last year large game. Mode at launch.
So yes, we are getting more stuff for Arcade, just not in this update.

I 80% agree with you about getting content just not in this update; however, the 20% is for Ben's post meant wait 'til the announcement and we will get content this patch.
was ben is talking about right now. my feelings are like on a rollercoaster... let me die!!!!
"We hear you! Here's a new community manager to post on a few forums!"
"We're evaluating a few things" "Big news coming!"
The roars recede to a low murmur, then vanish as people realize EA doesn't have any loyalty to anything other than the next biggest thing.
That, combined with the new large-scale game mode Dennis promised, gives me some hope for the future.

We shall see in May.
Dennis did confirm a Large Ground mode is coming and now Starfighter Assault is more than likely coming as well.
Will be playing the Backwards Compatible Pandemic Battlefront games and Skirmish in Battlefront 2015 on my Xbox One until those modes arrive.
I’ve tried to be optimistic but I’m not expecting anything for the next couple of months.
Quit being so pessimistic. Content is coming, it had to be postponed for the progression system update.

To little too late. I really don't see why it's not already done, it's not like it needs much work done to it in order to make it viable. If anything, all you need to do is just port it over, you already have AI spawning in(increase their numbers for arcade), you already have dedicated spawns of bombers coming in to attack the objectives(buff their damage for Arcade)... So what work, aside from buffing the AI numbers and buffing the AI bomber squad damage needs to be done?
Genuinely annoyed that this has not been put in already, as I've seen entire games get ported over to a different platform in less time, so what the f*** is the deal?!
Those two things with hero and vehicle AI and some objectives would make this perfect.
Seems to me like they will all be unlocked like the weapons and top tier star cards
Yes it does, and that will be awesome! Trying to unlock them in online has been a frustrating chore. I will take a break from trying to do that until I know for sure. Hopefully, no more specialists in Strike for me.
The weapon mods unlock is a welcome addition to Arcade, IMO.
Woooow, loving your ideas...he’s on fire.
Indeed, thanks game creators.
My guess is no, but if i remember correctly the 2015 game had AI skins offline. So I wouldn't surprised if they did. I'm cool with skins on the condition that they are in keeping with the canon. For example I don't want to fight helmet-less stormtroopers plus I'd like troops to look like they are from the same regiment.
Agreed.
It would be nice to have a slot for player 2 to have a separate skin and some slots to equip the AI with different skins.
The more offline they add the more money they will get from me. I spent $10 because of the Arcade content (maps and AI adjustments) they added in February and March. If they add maps, reinforcement AI, or significantly improve the AI in Arcade, I will buy $5 in crystals, if they add a new mode in Arcade, I will buy $10, If they add hero AI in Arcade, I will buy $20 plus $5 for each hero that comes out with hero AI after the hero AI is done.
Hmmmm yes this needs to be implemented by Criterion, good call.
Did anyone else notice they have been tweeking the Online “Galactic Assault” game ending video sequences to include their new alien heads? Man I sure have...it started just prior to the new skins announcement, at first I thought it was just my imagination. But then I double check and yep it was a Zabrac getting on board the shuttle on Takodana. Also pay attention if you lose on the Deathstar as Rebels, you will see some new aliens in hand cuffs as well.
This is a online franchise/game now... The sooner you all realize and accept that fact, the better off we will all be.
Night ladiesl
I wouldn't complain if we could manually choose or vote maps online.
I've been trying to get Crait on GA for months since the release but I keep getting the same loop over and over. Naboo twice, Takodana twice, Hoth twice, sometimes Kashyyk, and guess what, it looped back to f***ing Naboo again.
Adding salt to the wound, all online modes are dead during daytime in my country. I only have 3-4 hours a night starting late on Fri and Sat nights to try my luck with this stupid online map slot machine. So, I've never even seen many outdoor maps in the game I paid for.
I'll leave the game on my PC just to see what they will add when Han Solo movie comes. And I guess that's it. I'm done with this mess of a game.
I will not buy games from EA at more than $10 ever again.
These posts from the devs say otherwise:

- Can you tell us if Galactic Assault offline with AI is in the works?
- Will you add the possibility of playing during the daytime on Endor? (The night time version isn’t as appealing)
- Will you be giving us a map selector for multiplayer modes?
- Can you give Boba Fett’s blaster more range and accuracy?
- Not a direct port of Galactic Assault, no. The reason is that we don't want to hinder our Multiplayer designs but constraining us to what the AI can do well (for example, having the AI find Ion Disruptors and locate good vantage points for shooting at the MTT will likely prove difficult). However, if the core of what you're after is to fight larger scale battles in PvE with both Troopers and Vehicles, we're working on something quite like that!
that post is from https://battlefront-forums.ea.com/discussion/96161/star-wars-battlefront-ii-community-1-1-updated-with-dev-responses#latest
Also there is this from the Community Transmission: "Q) Many people would love to see Starfighter Assault get added to Arcade, is this something we can expect in the future?
A) We share the same love for Starfighter Assault, as a lot of our Community do. While we have nothing to announce in terms of dates, this is something we are actively looking at."

I don't have Twitter at the moment so when you post about Arcade devolpments don't forget to add my like as well. I am looking forward to the Season 2 announcement in May, and what is coming down the road for Arcade. I dont post nearly as often as I used to, but know I am in full support of a Large game mode for Aecade!!!! Thanks again, and to my fellow Arcade enthusiast hopefully the best is yet to come!
I think the best is yet to come.
Indeed. A new large-scale game mode with vehicles is confirmed to be in development, and they have also heard our feedback regarding bringing Starfighter Assault to Arcade. I have a feeling it's going to be a good summer for single-player fans in EA's Star Wars: Battlefront II.
