Weapon Damage bug

This was a problem in the last game, and it's been a problem in this game. Am I the only one who has a problem where I could score hits on another player all day and they wouldn't die, but then they turn around and one-shot you? I was playing the Kamino map the other day as a specialist. I hit an enemy officer four times from point-blank with my sniper rifle, and then he turned around and one-shotted me with his pistol. I've been having the same problem today with the A280 in the assault class. It is so frustrating.

I have found that stacked health causes a lot of issues. I can have 100 heath as a sniper but get 3 people's cards/abilities stacked so I would have 650 health
  • Whatever the cause, it's making it so frustrating, and nearly impossible to complete any of the challenges because I simply can't kill anyone. I shot a heavy in the head twice today with my A280, and he only lost half his health. That's *****.

I have the same experience, I "pump" shots into other players and then they turn around and kills me in no time.

The problem was really bad before they fixed the server lag.

But I think it's the low tick-rate and then propably some server issues. They shoot at you for longer time than what we see on the screen.

Played some BF1 today, and must say the "netcode" (higher tick-rate) is so much better in that game. When you get hit, you have time to move (and the TTK is lower in BF1 than in SWBF2)

I'ts a common problem in on-line shooters, when the netcode is not good enough, it seems like you are one-shot, but actually all the shoots arrive at your side 'bundled' together, instead of how they are fired on the shooters end.
  • I was beginning to wonder if something like that might be going on. The Battlefront games are the worst I've ever seen about that sort of thing.
