Remove TIE fighters on Crait

Hey, it's just a stupid idea. I ragequit because a guy was in a TIE fighter and he was just spawnkilling us. He got 80+ kills in less than 5 minutes. We couldn't do anything, the guy was already shooting at us in the trenches before we could move just after the spawn... You spawn, you die instantly, you wait 10 secondes, etc. So funny.

DICE still thinks people will play fairly, with great teamplay and that kind of stuff ? No, there's to many people who just want to kill by using flaws or OP things...

Do something about it, please. It is so frustrating.

  • Uh, use the tunnels beneath? Just a suggestion.

And how do you do that if you are already dead when you spawn ? And why the guy had 80+ kills in less than 5 minutes ? And how do you play the objective if you stay in the tunnels ? You wait until the end of first phase ? lel

Most of the ion guns are in the tunnels. Both factions go through the tunnels. You play the objective in tunnels. I am able to roll in said tunnels easily from spawn, there are entries everywhere. Please don’t suggest nerfs or removing stuff when you were just in a bad team for a couple games.

I hope you'll be in that situation once, just to see how fun it is to die multiple times without being able to do something. If a player in a TIE fighter knows Resistance's spawns, he can preshoot in the trenches and can get a ridiculous amount of kills in 5 minutes...

EDIT: And yes, ion guns are in the tunnels, but how do you shoot in the tunnels ? You have to be at least at the exit of the hole. If you play heavy, you have a chance to survive this, but you die instantly as a specialist with his 100 hp. You'll see, when people will know the trick, they will just preshoot the holes, and if you have bad luck and you spawn there, you will die before you could move.
  • Sorry, but there are too MANY holes to be killed in every single one of them. Of course it is necessary for the defending team to push aggresively. But you’ll never see me leave an entrance with an ion gun. You can shoot from well below.
  • they should improve anti AA canon to counter Tie. Better angle better damage maybe ...

Yep, I probably had bad luck to die 10 times in a row by the same guy in that TIE. But you're right, there are too many holes, so it means that you can be spawnkilled sometimes. Is it fair for you to die like this, even if it's just sometimes ? For me, spawnkill is unfair, that's all.
  • People don't realize how much damage the ski speeders do cause troopers just get melted instantly, a lot of the time TIE fighters are strafing low enough to get shot down, they only take about 3 or 4 shots.

What don't you understand in "you spawn, you die instantly because he preshoots us in the holes where we spawn" ?
Remove TIE fighters is excessive, I was so frustrated at the moment. But they should do something about the locations where we spawn, at least.

Well i cant understand people that they want to nerf something only because someone is better then them, yes i was **** in the game many times aswell but it wont stop me from playing the game and trying to be better and the comon thing that happends is that people think that SW BF is something like Battlefield in Star Wars creation but its not so dont try to play it like Battlefield. BTW about that TIE that was instakilling you all on the spawn (which BTW doesent make a sense, how could he killing like 20 players at the same time?) Ion torpedos, Ion turrets, Ion grenades, Ion shots and disruptor shots on Blaster rifles, pistols, heavy blaster and sniper rifels, even those objective Ion rifle disruptors can be used on other vehicles then just AT-ATs or MTTs or AT-M6 or whatever so try to playing like that if you want to get rid of some pain in the a** player in TIE Fighter, just use those weapons and you should be able to get rid of him and there are many other ways how to take him down then just those that i writed here

    Good luck with it nextime
  • The best tip:
    Use the antiaerial turrets

ion turrets, or use infiltration and bubble. That's how i get to ion weapons first, use it to get to the AAs. as for me i had no issues with getting into cover right away. never saw tie's getting many kills in crait for me
  • I shoot them down as Leia lol. As soon as I get her I just run to the bunker where they can't get to me and play clay pigeons with her alt fire.

OMG I love her ability. Its like the best redeeming factor for her. if they change that she would be too weak lol i was taking on an AAT with that on Kashyyyk lol he was getting so annoyed
  • Spawn in speeder, head for a launcher, exit speeder. Your problem solved.
  • The problem remains, though. You're ingame before you're given control - maybe a second or so. Spawning players in an exposed area is a bad idea because of that.

Spawn locations should always be safe - or you should have a damage immunity for a given time (or until you attack).

There are too many situations in this game where you are killed more or less immediately after you spawn and that sucks.
