    It would be good if DICE would do something about the 1PV with Yoda's Interceptor. I understand using 1PV should be more of a challenge but wow.

    The problem is that that isn't even the viewport you should be looking out of, it should be the top canopy. Yoda was the completely wrong choice to have as a Hero in ship.

    Agreed about the viewport as that would greatly improve the view in 1PV.

    Can't agree about not liking the choice as the Eta Actis class Interceptor as it is one of my favorite starfighters in the SW franchise so I'm biased. The Actis also allows DICE to add either, or both, Anakin or Obi Wan as heroes in SA as both flew the Actis. I would not mind if DICE added Obi Wan's Delta 7 though.

    On Yoda's Flying Chair: The floating chair has a little area in between the hovering part and his cushion that allows him to go whenever he wants. That is why Mace always looks like he just smelled something bad.

    Yoda has a modified Actis in CW. It’s much squatter, smaller,and with a rounder cockpit.

    I really do hope this mode gets more love. When I started, I played nothing but SA, with a little Blast and Strike thrown in, and I avoided HvV like the plague.

    Now I play HvV pretty much exclusively. I'll try a round or two of SA maybe once a week. I'm sure it doesn't help that I have Elite Dangerous to get my space flying fix, which is much fancier, but it was fun getting to do some simply arcadey (but not TOO arcadey) flying pew pew in SA.

    I really hope they turn it around with this mode.

    I'd say add the U-wing to arcade. It is arcade after all so just for kicks @F8RGE. The U-wing was a fun ship in SWBF I to fly off rails when you got the chance, making that dash for the gate.

  • I don't think it really needs many changes, it's pretty good overall. It's just not the most interesting game mode compared to the other ones for a lot of people.

    Because it is lacking in maps, customisation and reinforcements. You could throw in No HvV Starfighters as well

    Nailed it like Luke hitting the thermal exhaust port of the Death Star.

    Surprised Luke and Vader did not come with wingmates like SWBF I. It seems like a missed opportunity to bring different items like milestones, skins and abilities to the mode.

    These hero/villain starfighters should have wingmates:
    Luke
    Vader
    Poe
    Iden
    Tallie

    Hoping that SA gets some attention, new maps, starfighters, reinforcements, customization at EA play. @F8RGE, aka Rogue V, is a big fan of the mode.

    I'm just staying in attack formation and trying to level up my hero/villain ships.

    Anyone else wondering if we'll get 4 new starfighter heroes with the Clone Wars update? Dooku will be difficult unless they give him something like an Actis class from when he was Yoda's Padawan.

    Obi Wan's Delta 7 along with Anakin's Eta 2 but with different abilities than Yoda's.

    Not sure the solar yacht qualifies as a starfighter so yeah wondering what Dooku flies. Maybe the addition of Jango and a reskinned Slave1 to fill the villain starfighter slot?

    Belbullab-22 for Grevious.

    Maybe some SA battles with the N1 in the future? Who knows. Very little love gets thrown in the direction of SA. Unfortunate.

    The Dark Side needs more Hero ships. Currently it's 7 to 5 in favor of the Light Side.
    But I'd prefer more maps to more ships. And tweak the Tie Interceptor.

    I bought it then tried out some builds in arcade. Best falcon of the lot. With the engine upgrade, afterburner upgrade and elite pilot, it’s the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy. With these all on purple, it handles like a very fast xwing.

    Lower health than the Solo version, 11k instead of 13k, but I think with the raw speed and fighter matching agility it’ll be much more survivable when leveled up.

    Not sure if one of the speed upgrades could be switched out for longer copilot duration or capacitors. Will find out when I get to all blues.

    Time to get grinding.... finished Tallie off just in time

    It didn't even occur to me to try it in Arcade. Good shout, it sounds like a lot of fun to fly!

    The Falcon's Afterburner ability looks pretty cool.
    Arcade is the place to go to try out the new Falcon, but players in Starfighter Assault are much more intent on taking out Falcons, so they go down pretty quickly in Multiplayer.

    The new falcon is absolutly increadbile, Super fast! IF Hans falcon afterburner would do just half of that speed as Landos I would be immortal xdxdxd! Less hp but really good speed, and turnrate. My love will be always Han's falcon but Landos is close behind!

    Overall all heroships got HP boost, only Rey/Han and Boba's HP are the same. Really good BUFF! Poe Luke 2.5k Intercepter type of heros are 2,1k hp

    Couldnt die with Lando's Falcon that afterburner is just SUPERFAST.

    Too bad the Solo season didn't include a Kessel Run/Maw SA map. Could have been a nice new map IMO. SA is in desperate need of new maps. No new map since TLJ season in december. The current 6 maps are getting so boring. Still hoping we will get at least a few new maps. One new map per era would be nice. Maybe Geonosis will come with an SA map set in the asteroid belt?

    I completely agree with you. I actually expected the "new planet" tease was directed that way (since the map would be based on the same planet but it would just be a different "part of it"). I was extremely disappointed when I saw it was only a small map.

    Thanks for SA arcade and the Lando/L3 Falcon as they are something new to SA but is there any update from DICE on leveling hero/villain ships, the SA HvV mode, new starfighters, maps or vehicle skins? I was hoping we'd get a new map with the part II Solo release but it did not happen.

    Can someone from EA/DICE please provide some communication as to what is being worked on with SA? Something, anything in terms of communication about SA would be greatly appreciated by those who play the mode and love to fly.

I can usually jump in one pretty quickly but feel like I have to spend most of my time defending myself and evading as opposed to attacking the objective.     I don’t mind the health buffs. They don’t seem like too much to overthrow the balance of them but the Falcon health decreases I’m not so sure about. They need that health to be viable in SA.

    Do you think they might sneak in one or two additional SA maps before Geonosis arrives, or do you think we'll have to wait after the release of Geonosis for possible new SA maps? (if we will ever get any new SA maps at all).

    Well Kylo is just an absolute mess in that hero starfighter mode. He needs nerfing as he just out turns everyone, hits really hard and can shoot for a long time. Plus that Starcard which gives him health regen when activating his hardlock...

    Not sure how you read Maul's change but it is the other way around in terms of cooldown:
    Darth Maul's Scimitar
    • Lowered regen rate to 600 from 700
    • Made regeneration cooldown stop while being in cloak mode = You can't regen while cloaking and it will resume the count down to regen when you get out of it again.
    • Increased cooldown time for cloak to 20 from 15.
    • Increased total health (hull + shield): (4500→5000)

    Apart from his HP buff, he was nerfed in every other way (lower regen rate, no regen while cloaked and longer cloak cooldown). It's understandable for Hero Starfighters (since Hard Lock + "uncloak" with a certain pair of cards makes you invincible), but it hurts him on SA if a decent pilot tries to follow you (it's "relatively" easy to follow a cloaked Maul since he has a blue outline).

    Not sure how you read Maul's change but it is the other way around in terms of cooldown:
    Darth Maul's Scimitar
    • Lowered regen rate to 600 from 700
    • Made regeneration cooldown stop while being in cloak mode = You can't regen while cloaking and it will resume the count down to regen when you get out of it again.
    • Increased cooldown time for cloak to 20 from 15.
    • Increased total health (hull + shield): (4500→5000)

    Apart from his HP buff, he was nerfed in every other way (lower regen rate, no regen while cloaked and longer cloak cooldown). It's understandable for Hero Starfighters (since Hard Lock + "uncloak" with a certain pair of cards makes you invincible), but it hurts him on SA if a decent pilot tries to follow you (it's "relatively" easy to follow a cloaked Maul since he has a blue outline).

    Hardlock still causes 2 second freezing.

    Do you mean when you activate it? I meant that if you use your cloaking ability, lock on someone and start shooting, with a certain pair of cards (I just don't know the name) you get a damage bonus and no overheat for a certain amount of time. So he is extremely dangerous. I used that combo to get his 25 heros milestone since it was instant death for even the Falcons.
