    Well a simple Anakin or Obi Wan Actis fighter isn't that hard.
    Simple repaint yodas and think of 3 new abilities.

    Of course I also want super new models and stuff, but small steps which aren't that hard to implement would be fun.

    Hell they even could make an Hero Anakin Y-Wing. :smiley:

  • I would rather have maps than paint jobs. The thing is... If developing completely new maps is too expensive in terms of resources (for the new assets), there are a few GA maps that could actually work if you add some objectives and/or capital ships. Think about how Kamino's SA map is actually part of the GA map with just ships. Why can't we have something similar for Kashyyyk where flying is already great for GA? There is enough cover and you can even fly through the capital ship of the last GA phase. Then you have Naboo that could also work if you add some droid ships and Jakku's campaign map (which simulates a large scale battle). I am not talking about adding any new kind of objectives or ships or buildings. Just taking these maps, adding some big capital ships (or small ones) taken directly from other SA maps and adding some destructible objectives on them. So one side tries to destroy the other.

    No offence but I want new maps. New ships? No thanks at this time. I don't need a few new re-skins of Yoda's Starfighter being labelled as Obi-Wan/Anakin's star fighter, let alone one ship which never appeared in any of the movies at all.

    None taken. I want new maps, campaign maps or SWBF 15 maps over new star fighters as well. Still it would have been nice to see this on a Geonosis SA map.

    I want new maps and new ships too, u misunderstood me. But Anakin/Obi Ship(not Delta7) are exactly the same as Yoda's in BF2 so it would be a waste to give them a heroship, just like making 3 different falcons instead of keeping Han's version and give the rest as skins+voice lines.

  • Obviously new maps are a given for what people want. Beyond that I want too see the hero ships for General Grievous, Obi-Wan (his Delta 7), and Anakin when he comes out.

    I see your point, but wouldn't it be better if they were in the Delta-7? Would make them more unique and give them more replayability. Even if they were in the Actis-2, they could give them different abilities, I'm sure you could give Anakin a burst fire mode(as he's generally a more offensive Jedi), where as Kenobi you could give some kind of healing ability like Tallie Lintra's Blue Leader, or a brand new mechanic like a Starfighter repulse, which acts like the shield things on D'Qar, pushing enemies away and in some cases, into debris destroying them. I'm actually quite fond of the latter idea, might be my new medication clouding my judgement, but I think it would be an excellent new mechanic.

    Ofc it would be nice to have Delta7 in game just like 2 more ships for Dooku and Grevious! The problem is Dice and their lack of creativity and support to this mode. So i want to get some new stuff too badly, i already put 800hrs to SA .
    Well the pulse isnt a bad idea but i personally dont like it. Force crashing would be super annoying.

    Yeah really didn't get why the battle of Jakku for GA and SA wasn't added from the beginning!

    I'd like to see:
    Dookus Solar Sailer: I think in TCW there was an episode where it actually have laser and stuff. Or it could work as a support spacecraft more like a flying officer ... or use Ventress fighter instead of Dookus.
    Obi-Wan in the Delta 7
    Griveous in the Soulless One
    Anakin in the Twilight also as a more supportive hero ship.
  • I think Anakin and Obi's starfighters would be a great addition - either as Aethersprite or Actis - in HVV SF the light side is often quite poorly matched and these would be a great paliative.

    Agreed. this is the easiest way too add more maps to SA without having to create everything from scratch. Use some GA maps or campaign maps and add existing assets/ships to those maps.

    Jakku, the asteroid space map or the Naboo space battle (operation cinder) from campaign could work as new OT era maps.
    Takodana or outside of starkiller base could be used for ST era space maps (would probably require some extension of both maps, so there is enough air space)
    Kashyyyk, Naboo and Geonosis could work for new PT era maps.

    Then there is also the option to add BF2015 starfighter maps like Death Star, Scarif shield gate and Bespin. While it would be easier to port those maps than to create complete new maps, it would probably much more work than to use campaign or GA maps.

    Still hoping we will see at least a handful of more SA maps at some point later this year.

    That could be used as an Map.

    and on Bespin there was also an Airmission.
    and in the end you also flew around that New Order Destroyer and do some stuff.
    All would be good for another map. Even if it is only a Blast-Mode thing with the first to kill 100 Enemies win.

    But I hope for the Titan mode to be around a decent area of Land or Space and the Pilots there have more to do than just spawn and shoot directly.

    If it's really based on the Titan mode from Battlefield... It shouldn't take place only inside the capital ship. Of course, it's just a name and they could have made a completely different mode, but I would expect some kind of difference between the first part where you take "command outputs" and the last part where you just destroy the capital ship.

  • I'm hopeful the new mode will involve piloting but I'm not holding my breath. This game has let me down far too many times already.

    As others have said, re-use campaign assets already in game, like the Bespin starfighter mission, (where you're piloting the twin-pod cloud car) or the Naboo starfighter mission (where you have to destroy the orbiting lasers). There is so much content already in the developers' hands, it feels such a shame to waste it, when it could easily be re-purposed.

  • The last one I think is from the Solo Campaign thing where you chase the Nebulon B Frigate.

    Could be turned into:
    Rebels Defend Frigate.
    Empire need to kill Turrets, Engines on it.

    Difficulty is that the Frigate is moving and some nice big rocks around you. :)

    That repulse kind of ability would work for Kenobi. It could be somekinda force repulse. Vader used force to destroy rebel proton torpedo's before they reach his tie advance in one of the Marvel Vader comics.

    Problem with Dooku's ship is that by canon it doesn't have any weapons. Only tractor/repulsor beams.

  • I still think the shield gate battle from Rogue One would be an excellent map for a multi-stage objective game. There's also no reason starfighters and the fps modes can't exist in the same map. For example: Arrive out of hyperspace and take on the gates defender T.I.E.s while the Imperials are attempting to take out the larger ships, maybe even a capital ship for an all-or-nothing offensive rush. Don't forget to escort the corvette to ram the ISD into the adjacent one, too. If the Rebels win the first stage, they proceed to Scarif Base and support the ground guys while also attacking enemy starfighters. It's then up to the fps guys to get the data transmitted before the Death Star blows up the base. Heck, even a player-piloted U-Wing could fly reinforcements to the battle zone and the X-Wings just start taking out AT-ACTs and Imperial air forces. Maybe add the T.I.E. Striker and the T.I.E. Reaper for Imperial reinforcements?

    This mode has such amazing potential and it's being wasted.

    Anyway, more maps, more maps, maybe some cool ships, and more maps.

  • Just finished watching RotJ with my 7 year old daughter. Told her about Wedge's evolution in the OT from barely surviving the trench run in ANH to taking down a walker on Hoth and then watched him help Lando fire the shots that destroyed the second Death Star. Now he's one of her favorite SW characters.

    We want Wedge as a hero in SA.

    He should be in the game as a starfighter hero. He's more deserving of the position than Tallie Lintra. Shes a hero for getting blown up in the hanger in the first third of the first movie she was in (spoiler alert :p ). Don't get me wrong, she's a good character to play as but still.

    I agree, I like Tallie too but the only reason she's a hero ship is because she's in an A wing. If Wedge had flown a Y wing I bet the devs would have more incentive to put him in the game. As it is they probably don't want 3 Falcons and 3 X wings in the LS starfighter dugout.

    Wedge would be an easy build for them though, take a standard T-65B X wing, give it a little extra health, some powerful photon torpedos, boosted quad lasers and an ability similar to Iden's inferno leader... and boom, Wedge is SA's newest hero.

    *edit, instead of the inferno leader ability, which would make him too much like Poe, how about an ability that gives him 10% more damage on objectives with a star card that increases the %.

    The TIE/IN Interceptor needs it's laser changed to fire one at a time instead of all at once, and it's Concussion Missile should replaced with Heat Sink.

    The TIE/FO and TIE/SF should trade places, with the TIE/SF being changed over to the Fighter class and having the same health as the ARC-170, and it's Concussion Missile replaced with Proton Torpedo. Likewise, the TIE/FO should be an Interceptor and have it's Proton Torpedo replaced with Heat Sink.

    Concussions Missiles need to be buffed across the board; they need to be faster, more accurate, and have a shorter lock-on than Proton Torpedoes to make up for the lower damage. The duration of their blinding effect should also be increased.

    Dual Concussion Missiles for Hero Ships need to be buffed to deal as much damage as Proton Torpedoes, given the kill milestones associated with them.

    The V-Wing and A-Wing's primary laser cannons are using the wrong sound FX. The V-Wing's lasers should have the same firing sound as the TIE Fighter. The A-Wing's lasers should have the same firing sounds as the X-Wing and Y-Wing.

    Both the Resistance and First Order need Bombers. The First Order should have a reskin of the TIE/SA Bomber. The Resistance should get the BTL-B Y-Wing with a different paint job (I'm thinking green stripes instead of yellow, and without the Galactic Republic insignia).

    Han and Rey's Millennium Falcons should be combined into one ship; drop the Focused Mind ability and associated Star Cards, and give Han's Millennium Falcon the Auxiliary Power ability as a 4th ability. The level of the Millennium Falcon would be a combination of Han and Rey's current levels, maxing out at 40. Players would receive credits for excess levels and Star Cards from Rey's Falcon. Rey's Falcon would be available as an Appearance for Han's Falcon.

    The B-Wing and TIE Defender should be added as Hero Ships for Shriv and Hask, respectively. I'd like to see them added as Special Units, but if that's not possible, we need to get the next best thing.

    We need new Starfighter Assault maps. Badly. We've been playing the same 6 maps since launch. Maps set in atmosphere would be preferable and add some variety to Starfighter Assault. Eadu from Rogue One, Cato Nemoidia from Revenge of the Sith, and Starkiller Base from The Force Awakens would be best.

  • The TIE/IN Interceptor needs it's laser changed to fire one at a time instead of all at once, and it's Concussion Missile should replaced with Heat Sink.

    The TIE/FO and TIE/SF should trade places, with the TIE/SF being changed over to the Fighter class and having the same health as the ARC-170, and it's Concussion Missile replaced with Proton Torpedo. Likewise, the TIE/FO should be an Interceptor and have it's Proton Torpedo replaced with Heat Sink.

    Concussions Missiles need to be buffed across the board; they need to be faster, more accurate, and have a shorter lock-on than Proton Torpedoes to make up for the lower damage. The duration of their blinding effect should also be increased.

    Dual Concussion Missiles for Hero Ships need to be buffed to deal as much damage as Proton Torpedoes, given the kill milestones associated with them.

    The V-Wing and A-Wing's primary laser cannons are using the wrong sound FX. The V-Wing's lasers should have the same firing sound as the TIE Fighter. The A-Wing's lasers should have the same firing sounds as the X-Wing and Y-Wing.

    Both the Resistance and First Order need Bombers. The First Order should have a reskin of the TIE/SA Bomber. The Resistance should get the BTL-B Y-Wing with a different paint job (I'm thinking green stripes instead of yellow, and without the Galactic Republic insignia).

    Han and Rey's Millennium Falcons should be combined into one ship; drop the Focused Mind ability and associated Star Cards, and give Han's Millennium Falcon the Auxiliary Power ability as a 4th ability. The level of the Millennium Falcon would be a combination of Han and Rey's current levels, maxing out at 40. Players would receive credits for excess levels and Star Cards from Rey's Falcon. Rey's Falcon would be available as an Appearance for Han's Falcon.

    The B-Wing and TIE Defender should be added as Hero Ships for Shriv and Hask, respectively. I'd like to see them added as Special Units, but if that's not possible, we need to get the next best thing.

    One more thing I forgot; add Padme Amidala's Chromium N-1 Starfighter from Forces of Destiny and Jango Fett's Slave I as Hero Ships. Slave I would have the same rule applied to it as the Millennium Falcon where only one version can be in play at a time.

    To set Jango's Slave I apart from Boba's, it would have Dual Proton Torpedoes instead of Concussion Missile, and Repeating Blasters instead of ION Cannons. Repeating Blasters would increase the fire rate of the primary weapon, and prevent overheating. Jango's Slave I should also have a 4th ability called "Bounty Hunter" that functions the same as Black Leader/Inferno Leader/L3-37 Co-Pilot, highlighting enemies and increasing damage.

    Padme's Chromium N-1 Starfighter would have Dual Proton Torpedoes, Weapon Overcharge, R2-D2 Repair, and a 4th ability called "Bravo Leader". Bravo Leader would have the same function as Tallie Lintra's "Blue Leader" ability, buffing the health regeneration of nearby allies.

    Agreed! I think he is more talented pilot than Poe or Luke.
    I want him as a hero too but what abilites would u give to make him unique next to poe and luke?

    how about an ability that gives him 10% more damage on objectives with a star card that increases the %.

    Hmm not bad but what if he would do something else, like 10%dmg reducation buff or 10% basic speed buff?
    Also darkside should get new ships, like Dooku or Greviius with somekind of team buffing ability like heal,.dmg boost etc
