  • The Star Wars Battlefront 2 celebration editions artwork figures all troopers helmets in front but, also, a big Death Star 2 in the back, different eras space battles, Naboo starfighter and a Coruscant planet look like... It's the game cover.

    Keep sharing your hopes.

    I can think about a bright future for this game in 2020 and more.

    Could be cool as well, but would limit us to flying straight lines instead of being able to manouver
  • From the clips in the trailer it looks like there is a scene where the Falcon is being pursued by FO TIES inside something large. Maybe the floating ice like structure also seen in the trailer. Either way there looks to be some awesome starfighter combat in TROS.

    I have a guess that 3CPO is somehow going to be incorporated into the Falcon as was done with L3 and the Falcon’s navigation system in Solo.

    Also looking forward to seeing some new starfighters.

    G-D, this beautifully done SA mode needs some more content.

    I don´t know how many sides this threat needs or how many people have to read it....
    But comparing to the Instant Action and PvE thread we need more! But there are a lot of new players who like the mode and on reddit there is also some movement!
    And I want to say one good thing the Devs have changed: (don´t know when it was...) there is no Spawntimer in HeroStarfighters! Now only change it to HvV works.... (restart with a heroship) Please!!!!!!

  • While the trailer was pretty great, DICE’s new trailer only showed like 2 Starfighter Assault clips.

    I hope that means that they’ll be reviving it soon and not just some meaningless advertising for a mode they may not even update.

    It was just some footage of the old D’Qar SA map. Pilots are not getting anything new.

  • I hope EA loses the SW license and Disney gives it to a studio willing to support a starfighter game for a complete post-launch cycle.

    0 spawn time
    X3 XP permanent
    Lower Hero ships costs (as you did in GA and CS before Anakin)
    Equal BP cost for Hero ships (again, as it is other modes)
    Unlock ships/Hero ships in Co op (we have vehicles)

    Minor changes, not involving other studios or Disney permission and, believe me, that would revamp completely the Game.

  • They should also improve heroes starfight by spawning as a hero for like 10 minutes or a specific number of kill like in H&V instead of only one spawn per round

  • They really should allow FoV changes and the ability to turn off AIM-Assist. I really can't play this mode with how huge the starships are, and how annoying my aim having a mind of its own is.

    Well, they'll still exist.
    But visit the Rogue Bros Channel, there we document many BUGs and possible workarounds for them. There's also gameplay and other videos related to EA's Star Wars Battlefront (I & II)

    Again, minor changes that wouldn't be time/effort/resources consuming for DICE

    Skins for ships (meaning just another color stripes as seen in Clone Wars)
    Space battles of GA Maps (Kashyyk, Takodana, Tatooine can be played entirely with ships in GA)

    Been playing the sith out of this mode for a couple days and notice if you’re killed after you fire your proton torpedoes the torpedoes never register any damage. This is contrary to infantry combat where I can toss a grenade and it still registers damage if my trooper eats it right after it’s thrown. Wondering what the reasoning is behind this. If you’ve locked on and launched it shouldn’t matter if your fighter survives the time for the full path to target.

    And they should make it easier to level up Hero ships! Because even with 3X XP it feels like a terrible grind.

    My biggest issue has always been the aim. Even in GA sometimes it just goes a bit whack - the "aim here" certainly isn't helpful either.

    @F8RGE could we get at least 1 dev response in this large post that has been here forever? It's ridiculous that we don't get any transparency and communication on the numerous starfighter content requests.

  • Depending on the quality of the vehicle and pilot skins, and what was available, I'd have spent $'s to support additional SA content such as new maps, new starfighters and hero ships. EA missed their shot when they could have converted to paid cosmetics away from the lootbox debacle. Now it's too little, too late.

    SA is far superior to SWBF FS so if there is a SWBF III, then I'd like to see Criterion on board again and for a much longer stay.

  • Minor changes, just minor changes... The events calendary Will bring Jack again a respawn event. Make It permanent for SFA, please.
