"While we loved the fantasy fulfillment there, the frustration of not knowing what was damaging you was too high for us not to act on."

Does that mean it was indeed a feature? :)

    Oh and first! :)

    EDIT - Dang, second! :disappointed:

Some good changes from reading through. Shame Palps health didn't get put back to original levels though. We'll see about chewie.

Jetpack cargo is a rocket fest.
  • Thanks for the patch notes.

Emperor Palpatine is still going to be a superior hero in Galactic Assault. His wall glitching wasn't the only issue, but his high sustainability with Chain Lightning that heals on hit, rather than on kill, is going to be problematic after the patch. Not to mention that he was in a good state before The Last Jedi Season patch, but then he received all the health buffs, that for some reason wasn't reverted back. Slightly disappointed to say the least.

I am kind of okay with the Rey changes. She's been my go-to character for the light side and I was expecting a longer cooldown for her Insight. However, this is a good start.

I love that you are making Boba Fett more skill based rather than a one trick pony with his Rocket Barrage. It's going to be interesting to see how good players will use him now.

And I absolutely love the Luke changes. He did need some help and I think that extra sprint speed will do the trick.

I'm conflicted about the Chewbacca changes. Yes, it was needed in Heroes Vs. Villains. But currently, he doesn't really have a place in Galactic Assault, and even more so after the patch.

And the Captain Phasma changes are spot on. Can't wait to try her out.
  • Fixed an issue where players would not receive credits for duplicate star cards - Players who encountered this issue previously will retroactively be awarded with the proper amounts of credits

Thanks for this. When can we expect the compensation to come? Is it available now?
  • Hi there

Are there any plans to fix the starfighter indicators for the ARC 170 in Kashyyyk and Kamino?

It's pretty annoying the other side has those, but you don't.
  • Endor - Fixed a bug in Galactic Assault that caused the Endor AT-AT Orbital Strike to break

The AT-AT was also bugged out in Hoth after the previous patch. Is this fixed? No mention of it in the patch notes.

There's a bug on jetpack cargo where you cannot see the cargo/carrier and attack still shows are cargo spawn point :(

    Video:
  • So do the Hoth appearances appear on every map if they are used?
  • Milestones are now claimed automatically upon completion! Furthermore, we changed how Milestones and Challenges are sorted. Now, all completed items are on the bottom of the Career tab and we sort the active items by the amount left until completion.

Thank god for this. I've always been a bit irritated having to back out of games to collect my reward. And completed items on the very bottom of the list sounds like a neat change too.
  • Fantastic list of patch notes! Heaps of annoying things seem to have been addressed and I can't wait to try it out on Xbox.

On Palpatine; his issue isn't so much his Chain Lightning heal as it is his base health regen. He can seemingly regen somewhere between 50 and 75% of his total health, and in a very short period of time. His chain lightning can heal a bit but I reckon if his base regen was lowered a down again he'd be in a better spot. Adjustments to the dodging mechanics should also help here, so I'm looking forward to testing out Melee heroes again! Especially Luke!
  • This patch looks amazing. Great Job

Yeah looks a very good patch overall. Looking forward to finishing work and giving it a go. My son will be ecstatic with Kashyyyk added to arcade, so you guys have made my 5 year old son's week right there!

Game no longer starts after downloading the 1.2 patch. Tried rebooting windows and selecting the repair option in origin.
  • jetpack cargo rocket works this way? isnt the cd too fast?

  • Empty lobbies here in Australia :(

Three attempts, three empties . . . GA / SA / and Jetpack... I might wait for everyone else to install the patch.

  • Does anyone know what Yoda's "Barrier Ability" is?
Are they talking about his Block? ;-)

Yeah not all of us have NBN yet buddy hahaha

I would wager it's his Presence ability.
  • Blurrg-1120 - Lowered start damage from 37 to 35 and end damage from 20 to 16

this feels like the right approach to me. Emphasises that Blurg is a close range weapon.

    Only came down at 8.1MB/s for me . . . . sorry . . :P
  • If you by chance open crates and get duplicate items and it shows the old value for credits rewarded, you need to restart your game client. You did in fact get the new reward amount, but the client will show the old values in the UI until you restart the game.

Thanks, Sledgehammer. Regarding the compensation, is that live? As in, if I log on after work, can I expect additional credits for all the duplicated star card credits I didn't receive?
  • So glad they fixed Iden’s Stun Droid. Maybe it’ll actually be useful now.
  • Game no longer starts after downloading the 1.2 patch. Tried rebooting windows and selecting the repair option in origin.

Yep, that happened for me too. Game no starting anymore after 1.2 patch

Network perf icon now shows almost constantly for me. My ping is avg 15-20, dl 380Mb/s up 20Mb/s so not sure why. Others reporting it too. It's quite eye catching when playing.
  • No health buff for iden? Or a regen card for kylo?
I was really hoping for some major changes to these characters that made them more viable in GA.

The boba fett changes seem good and are a welcome adjustment. Kinda disappointed in the chewie shock grenade nerf. I was hoping that the stun would be broken once you take damage from chewie.

And is did the incredibly annoying AT-AT bugs not get fixed? I didn’t notice anything addressing them in the notes. Their orbital strike is usually unusable.

    They fixed it for Endor.

  • so Milestone "a tremendous service" is still not fixed ? and this after 3 months
    jju2hr5m96pd.jpg

now it even says: Progress: 0/26
i claimed all 26 and got rewarded

its only 500 crystalls, but still
    sad

This patch is so very detailed, it contains a lot of what the community requested. The Bug fixes, balancing the modes / maps / ski speeder BP gain, laser graphics & removal of the bloom effect was VERY much appreciated. The Rey adjustments were a definitely a step in the right direction. The Luke buff sounds amazing.
Kylo seems like he might actually be somewhat playable in HvV now, much less GA but he's getting there.
Thank GOD palpatine and Chewbacca got nerfed, thank the maker.
The Phasma staff buff was so incredibly warranted.

However there are a few problems I have the with decision making here.

Why are the Hoth skins for Han, Luke and Leia a time limited event?
This decision makes 0 sense, why limit peoples options with the customization & anger people like this when the community has been asking for this type of customization?
Limiting them to this event for who knows how long is just wrong.
These skins are truly iconic, and should be available for use at all times, for everyone.
Like the beard han solo skin, that can attained through a vigorous grinding session of Arcade, but at least its attainable at all times & not limited to some event.

I didn't think Vader was in need of being more tanky what-so-ever, that change makes little to no sense & I hope the revert it as soon as possible. He already did his job, buffing him even more just isn't the way I hoped his character tweaks would've gone.

Why hasn't the Personal Shield for the Specialist & Idens droid shield not been tweaked to allow the deflection of explosives? This is such a huge oversight, I cant believe it wasn't in this patch.

Thank god the dodge ability got nerfed, it was painful to deal with in GA, but I think blaster heroes may have a tougher time living in HvV, so I hope this was all worth it.

WHY DID SCS HAVE TO GET BUFFED!?!?!?!

ATST on Takodana sounds like absolute pure suffering for the rebels.

Despite these gripes I have with the patch, I hope the game will feel better to play now.
I'm very excited to test out these cool changes & present my feedback to these forums!

    No mention of Hoth though.

I rarely use the AT-AT on Endor but the AT-ATs on hoth are extremely buggy. I really don’t understand how this wasn’t fixed since these AT-AT bugs were introduced in the last patch...

Maybe it’s an oversight in the patch notes? I haven’t tried the AT-ATs yet

That's what I'm hoping for. The AT-AT in Hoth is essentially worthless with the Orbital Strikes working only in very specific spots.

It’s also annoying how the AT-AT’s cross hairs are extremely off. Unless an enemy is directly in front of you, the cross hairs are way off. They’re a terrible indication of where the AT-AT will actually fire.

Since you nerf (twice) the Boba Fett barrage to the ground, is there an eventuality that the associated milestone be updated ?
Because doing a triple elimination with only one barrage is barrely impossible now, so the milestone does not make sense anymore.
Please update this awkward milestone (like doing 3 kills with barrage in a party for exemple). I expected this change with the milestones update of patch 1.2 !
@Sledgehammer70 Milestone : Triple elimination with barrage (Boba Fett).
  • Guys, do you have problem that after download 1.2 patch game not starting? I tryed reboot PC, repair game and it doesn't help.

According to CJ on Twitter you can keep the hero skins. The only thing limited is the challenges required to unlock them.
  • DarthJ wrote: »
    Cheers.

Can I ask a question on the new hero appearances @Sledgehammer70? When it says 'available for a limited time', does it mean limited time to unlock them permanently via the challenges mentioned, or limited time they are available to use overall regardless of unlock? If that makes sense.

I might just be being daft mind.

    I second this question @Sledgehammer70

Solved the problem by deleting all Origin's cache. And game started.
  • Hi,

any chance to turn anti-aliasing OFF in next patch? There is always TAA LOW. I think, it was available in BETA.

    Ty.
  • Love the new arcade maps, but i i hoped to see starfighter assault modes and bigger maps in arcade, or more heroes to play with in arcade, maybe some members of the jedi counsil, ki-adi mundi, kit fisto, ahsoka, shaak-ti, mace, ... Perhaps make some exclusive to arcade if balancing would take to much time?
  • I just installed the patch , opened some daily login crates and I'm still NOT getting credits for duplicates WTF? Was this supposed to be part of the patch or not??
  • Very nice! So happy that Master Yoda is going to be much better! Hero killer now? Haha
  • Thanks for the patch notes looks like the developers have been busy! Can't wait for the PS4 update.
  • Players who encountered this issue (zero duplicates credit) previously (what about still?) will retroactively be awarded (how?)with the proper credits over time(when?).
