    Garbage. Thanks for nothing. I'm not sure why people are happy with the single little map and some skins, but I'm not. I know you said you would be releasing some more small maps for small game modes, but even that is garbage. Why would anyone want to play 1vs2 or whatever it is.. ? It's ridiculous.

    We need Conquest, and we need a server browser for PC. AT THE VERY LEAST you should have given us some Galactic Assault maps - which is another stupid game mode, but for now it's the only one that allows a lot of players.

    I'm sickened by DICE's arrogance, acting like they are giving us something we want, when you know it's not. Those who give you praise are misguided fan-boys who will like anything you provide, because they don't know any better.

    PLEASE DISNEY - REVOKE EA/DICE STAR WARS EXCLUSIVITY LICENSE!

  • Great work DICE, love the new menus, larger heroes and infantry animations and general improvements. Love the new hero mode, but we need more maps asap and a better and faster matchmaking system for that particular mode. Like the Leia and land skins, already spent 120K credits for them, we want skins for the villains as well. I would actually pay money for them. I do not like hero hunt but it is an interesting mode. We need more maps for blast, GA and strike. I still missed the 4v4 HvV mode with 16 players on it from Battlefront 1. In fact, I still play it.

    Please add hero AI and objectives to Starfighter Arcade and the large mode for Arcade. Also please let player 2 in Arcade split screen select their own wmote and skin, thanks.

    The loading times on my OG Xbox One are INSANE now. Almost immediate. Previously I'd find myself checking Twitter for 2-3 minutes during load screens. Thank you so much for fixing this.

    Love the new Lando skin and bought that ASAP. Suggestion: You need to promote Crystals within the menus more. Talking to a lot of friends who don't even know Crystals are an option. Place the "Buy more Crystals" button within the middle-upper part of the screen maybe and also on the main menu?

    Skin Suggestion: I would honestly pay Legendary price range for alternate gender options for Troopers. Even if you just copied over Assault male models onto the Specialist class. Want this more than any Hero skin (though I do love those too).

    Hero Showdown is a bit boring for me as the matches are usually over for the entire team within a minute. Suggestion: Give each character three lives before kicking them out permanently. Have them respawn immediately like in the regular HVV mode but after their third life, they're done. Would make the mode much more engaging.

    I liked the menus before but these new menus are beautiful. Suggestion: Not sure if you've already enabled this but would be great to rotate the featured Appearance on the main menu daily to show casual gamers what alternate skins they can buy. Might also be a good idea to label the Appearance on the main menu with small text as well. Character name and skin name.

  • Also A large mode for Infantry Arcade. With Randomized Skins on them. Plus the ability for AI to be special units, B2 battledroids, wookiees ETC. The ability for AI to use more ability's and More options to have AI units on maps more than 10. The ability to play any era on any map and if possible hero AI. Infantry and star fighter AI update to make them more formidable

    Cons:

    3. Long wait times to fill the lobby sometimes.

    Content Amount: I understand that content takes time and I'm not trying to be overly negative or entitled. This seems more like an update (I think it would have been received better as an update than a season.) It's good content, just not a lot of it.

    No road map of upcoming content. There have already been leaks regarding this game being abandoned and the community is already impatient. Communication has been much better lately but having a road map to let us know that you guys are still working on this being a live service game for months to come would go a long way. Personally, I would buy content to support the game if I knew that there was a future to be excited about.
    The game is locking up when backing out of Hero Showdown lobby. I’m having to quit out of the entire game back to the Xbox dashboard and starting Battlefront 2 up again.

    ive seen this problem too on PS4

    New skins are good keep em coming! (I'm still hoping for a hooded Darth maul, that's all I want with the skins really)
    SA offline is okay but as with the normal arcade as well the ai isn't very good even when on expert difficulty and extreme, the ai doesn't come for the player they seem to just wander around randomly and if they see you shoot a few times but not enough to kill and walk away still without killing. If there's any way for this to bee fixed it'd be much appreciated.
    I love that ewok hunt has come back (I hope to stay) but I'd like to see more maps added at some point (Maybe even a port of the old endor from 2015 hero hunt map could work I think)

    This one is unrelated but can starfighters get an option to not follow enemy ships. This happens mostly on crait and idk if its by accident but if I'm using a tie fighter add shooting at troops from above then a ski speeder passes my aim is interrupted and it makes my blasters follow the speeder until it's out of my sight.

    Anyway I thought the update was great. I think if possible all be 2015 maps should be ported over somehow along with the heroes. Then hopefully we'll get new heroes and maps (geonosis :wink: and obi wan/grievous)

Your On-Rail AI is great - Add them into Arcade to make objective game modes possible across the ground and in the sky!

    Leia's mission in the campaign serves as an excellent example of how an offline Galactic Assault/Objective based large scale ground gamemode could play across all maps, and also the Naboo mission in space serves as a great example of how Starfighter Assault could be offline. Even if you treat these modes like additional missions from the campaign due to implementation of objectives, I'm sure players will be extremely happy as long as they can somewhat sway the outcome of these objective based battles based on the factions the player decides to to play as.

    PRAISE: Overall, thank you DICE for not forgetting about your offline fans and community. We know you are hard at work trying to make everyone who plays this game happy. Thank you for not forgetting bout your offline players and showing us that you are making efforts and progress towards making the offline portion of this game a highly substantial experience.   • I don’t see any end of round information when playing Hero Showdown. No top player, just the background. No stats, just a message saying, “Match has already ended” or something.

    Love the new Starfighter Arcade mode, can't wait to see what comes next.

    Thank you for fixing the AI spawning error in Starkiller base. Tried it out earlier today and everyone spawned in properly.

    The faster loading times are great, only takes a few seconds on the Xbox One (with an external HDD). Also it seems like Arcade modes run smoother, almost no frame rate issues.
    To think that once I could not see beyond the veil of our reality, to see those who dwell behind.

    The not-so-good:

    My PS4 Pro is making more noise after this update; it's really put the fan into overdrive.

    Iden's dodge roll feels like it goes in slow motion. I'm just trying to get through Hope Cannot Save Them Tier 3 and her roll seems useless. She's a weak enough hero as it is, she can't really afford to have her defensive get-out-of-the-line-of-fire-quick move turned into a crawl. She needs the mobility of a fast roll with a bit of distance.

    The cards equipped in Arcade Mode seem to affect the cards equipped in Online Mode. That's already created problems for me when switching from playing the Tier 3s to playing Hero Showdown, because all I know is that there's a blank spot in my equipped cards; I don't remember what used to be there.

    The missing end match stat screens are obviously a problem.

    Many of the Hero Showdown matches do not feel balanced and instead are like a quick, ugly reaming. Another problem with the matchmaking is how long it takes. I finally found someone I paired up well with, and after a couple games where we did decent we ended up waiting in the lobby for two more players for a few minutes until he finally dropped out, so I had to drop out, too.

    When a player drops mid-match in Hero Showdown, it takes forever to find a replacement, if it does at all. The opposing team lost a player, so we sat for a while in the lobby, then my teammate dropped and the next round started because the game considers 1v1 balanced. Why is finding one player taking 10+ minutes?

    Playing Hero Showdown in Jabba's Palace every time gets old quick.

    Is Emperor Palpatine stronger? He seems even more OP than he was before. Maybe it's just more noticeable in Hero Showdown since it's 2v2, but it feels like his lightning attacks have no end.

  • The new menu very sharp looking!

    Starfighter Arcade, love the option, played one round on Kamino actually struggled to find targets it was as if I had a cloaking device on... Didn't have to shake a single missle... I still appreciate the addition though.

    New hero mode, actually pretty fun.

    Jabba's palace, it's nice looking but I was really hoping for it to be a live version of Jabba's palace with band, rancor, guards and actually Jabba... It's like fighting in his palace after Luke and Leia killed Jabba and his crew...it's just so lifeless.... At least give me a new holoband.

    The new skins... Very cool.... Now the pricetag for Leia's is high but it is something to work for...btw I currently have over 40k, if you guys would have given a refund to those of us that paid for the endor skin, I could have bought the new one tonight....so yeah..still sour on that one.

    Thanks for new content, keep it coming.... Btw, when will be able to buy emotes? Also please bring us new heroes soon.

    Well lets see, yes refreshing new look, however it has brought in a number of glitches.
    • Still taking a while to get players in matches, waited for 10 minutes and had to bang out to try again.
    • People still leaving no idea why. was winning twice and they left so 1v1.
    • Could be as i found after selecting a character i got the message no character selected ( it then said random) but wouldn't let me in the match.
    • Next go did the same no character selected so threw me in with a random HAN and had the character selection slots open covering the bottom of the screen, fortunately it was a 1v1 against Phasma so blew her up with the bomb and finished her with the blaster and Melee.
    • Lag or delay when using force powers etc, and don't seem to last as long.
    • End screen not just for the 2v2 mode has message match has already ended no details available
    • Massive LAG / rubber banding in normal HvV and SA .
    • Didn't try other modes as don'/t play GA or strike unless i have to.

      Gave up after an hour so didn't get the master apprentice kills, but then already have the emote so not bothered.

      Will i play 2v2 again seriously doubt it.
      SA in Arcade no AI attacking me, they play between themselves so won't teach new players much, but good effort, can be expanded on.
      Oh and i saw the Leia skin 80,000 credits yet Lando only 40,000 wow disparity there.
  • Phasmas staff strikes have been ruined. All they needed was to be sped up and make to contact consistently. They should still knock people over.

    Hero showdown is too slow. Make it autopick/random for the hero selection rather than going back to the menu. It may stop people from quitting out and putting you in endless wait again.

    Why would you release legendary bousch with new Ubese voice for emotes without fixing the emotes so she can talk?

    I would really love less gimmicky cheap modes like hero showdown and even ewok hunt and more of what increasingly seems like little time left spent on bringing back BF1 maps and modes. I'm not even asking for new stuff anymore.

    Dice I know you are doing your best and have gotten screwed by EA. You made a great base game. The glitches are on you and the fans complaining about having to spend money is on them but the real villain is EA so I do appreciate you doing what you can.
  • Season challenges where we choose to fractions would help( bounty hunters or empiriers) and reuse maps like Tatooine dune sea and twilight on Hoth would be most welcome. Also we want the orginal cargo not I repeat not jet pack cargo.

  • Also if you add clone commanders and droideka’s don’t make a new class. Replace super battle droid with them and replace heavy with super battle droid like the originals. Also replace wookies warrior with clone commander and keep him out of clone wars maps because he dosent fit.

  • I love the update overall! I think it added a good amount of newer stuff to experiment with and made the gameplay (for me) a lot more enjoyable!

    Some things to consider:
    -Hero Showdown matches are way too short, it takes longer to load into a match than it is to complete a full game.
    -I know they’re coming, but more skins!! Only two skins is a bit of a buzzkill IMO.
    -Maps; I’m a huge fan of Jabba’s Palace, but most of us are coming from BF 2015, we want newer stuff! Which is why Hero Showdown is such a hit.

    Some possible additions in the near-future:
    -PRIVATE GAMES: games where you can setup bots, score and time limits and such, and invite your friends. Games to play alone with a set of friends would be incredibly enjoyable.
    -Credits: I hate having some maxed out hero’s but none of their victory poses/emotes. I personally believe that they should be buyable via credits, that way they’re not “unobtainable”.

    That’s all I got for now. I appreciate all the hard work you guys are doing over there! Keep it coming, I know you guys are going to make this game great!

  • load times are MUCH faster!!! Which is amazing but then the time to start match seems to be longer (im guessing its to give you time to upgrade cards with skill points) 30 seconds is a bit too long especially when you have no cards to upgrade/no skill points
  • A good update but just why, why put this hard light on the face of the hero on the menu for choose the hero or vilains on the mode hero VS vilains ? The animation on the characters and light before this update was great and better.
  • On Hero Showdown .. when the Character Introductions happen I feel like the two characters need to be centered. It's minor complaint but just looks like the DEVS took the HvV Intro screen and just subtracted two characters, which there's nothing wrong with that except that the positions of the characters are on the far side and not centered. They are in positions 3 & 4 (--XX) and would look better if they were in 2 & 3 (-XX-) if that makes sense.

    I may be wrong but I believe the order of the heroes when they load is random

  • I will never even bother trying the new HvV mode...2 vs 2? I'm not good enough with heroes to play on a team like that and I'll just make my partner rage quit.
  • Here's two extremely easy ways to make battlefront 2 a million miles better and make you get so much more money and nobody would complain make more emotes and victory poses and make them purchasable and theirs alot of money me and everyone i know loves and want more emotes and of the leaks are true to make more money port over some more trooper heads and outfits which isn't nearly as lengthy as new content which people prefer to old but if it gets us more new content in the future im game for old decent skins. A roadmap would make people feel much better about the game and spending money if they know more stuff is coming other than generic responses. I know this is slightly off topic of the Han solo season update but it's also relevant to it as the Han solo season so far has been about improving the game overall to make it long lasting and these two changes to policy or whatever you want to call it would elevate the game to the very next level and make it the best star wars game ever. Final thoughts give us a road map at the beginning of every year or at the beginning of every season for that years content and seasons or just what's in the season and emotes and victory poses should be purchasable and add new ones... That would be the biggest cash cow is the emotes as everyone loves them and i really my feedback help if you want really specific feedback on the update i already left a post above good luck and may the force be with you

    Heroes and villains need looked at - too many times it feels like a button mashing fest...timing game...going from 750 health to 0 in two seconds is confusing and the dodging is not very good w/ blaster users...saber wielders win.
    Fix the specialist - he's right down the street from useless - maybe less than a city block and he has bus fare to get there or could thumb it - probably would trip over his own trip mine so can't walk there.
    Menus are much better and thank you for the content, more please?

  • Had problem with Han in HS - when activating Sharpshooter it aimed at floor and I couldn't bring it back up. When using Vader choke on Rey I started draging myself left and right not her and the reverse when using Rey's Mind trick I started walking like under influence, if you know what I mean.
    I have altered the post. Prey I don't alter it any further.
  • Played Hero showdown. It is fun but after a game is over and when you try to quit, I get stuck in a endless load screen to get back to main menu. Getting back to main menu shouldn't take forever in any mode!!

    Hero Showdown
    Overall, I love this mode. So many adrenaline-filled fights, and tactical fights, not just button mashing. Suggestions for improvement:
    - 60 seconds is way too long for the game to start, its excruciating
    - Team balancing makes or breaks this mode (and is presumably harder to do automatically, sadly)
    - Joining the mode is incredibly fast (I assume because its new and everyone wants to try it), but filling it once someone leaves takes way too long, for some reason I can't explain
    - There's a bug with the rewards screen not displaying results sometimes
    - Speaking of rewards, it's on the low side compared to a comparable amount of time spent in HvV

    Jabba's Palace
    Beautiful, well-designed, tight spaces, changes in height, some open rooms. The canopy in the main room is awful, though, in practice, it should either be real or not real - as it is, all it does is obstruct your vision when flying/jumping through it.

    No Hologram
    I was expecting to be unimpressed with this, I liked the hologram vibe, but the menus look fantastic now, pick a superlative, and it applies.

    Faster Loading Times
    Thumbs up.

    Weekly Reward
    The description says you need Luke or Leia, but you actually need both at the same time to claim it. Might be as simple as somebody putting in an AND when they meant OR in the code. :smile:

    Hero showdown; It's alright. I'd prefer just continuing the match, regardless of if a person quit. 2v1 would be acceptable. Also, if there is one person on each side, the match could just start, instead of waiting forever for there to be two people on each side. While I love Jabba's palace, it would be a bit more thrilling if the Ranchor was still alive as a map hazard, plus some cowering npcs would have been nice to see too. I like the faint music in the background even when music is turned off.

    Menu: Quarren's gills breath now? It's fascinating! I love looking at the models, even the ships, now that the hologram filter is off the main menu. Loving Disguise Lando! Leias costume's neat too but a bit quiet. (Luke really needs the cloak he used to blend in. )

    Loading? I started a game of strike today, with one other person on my team, instead of "Waiting for players" to join before starting. It was great. As we made our way to the objective the game filled up. We all got to play sooner rather than later, and there was no problem. Very nice.

    Event/challenges Strange that the reward emotes are emotes for troopers instead of emotes for Han?

    QoL Ewok hunt get an announcer? It really helps me keep informed for those times without the hud. Thanks.

    QoL Phasma's staff; her animation to preform still gets canceled out if she gets staggered part way through.

    General/other QoL Greedo or Dengar should have been included/ported from swbf15 as they are some of Han's greatest known rivals...

    I will never even bother trying the new HvV mode...2 vs 2? I'm not good enough with heroes to play on a team like that and I'll just make my partner rage quit.

    That isn't what it's about! ...so what if you lose because someone else was not good at playing heroes, we all got to learn and become familiar with new maps and the only way to do that is to play.

    The person at fault in the scenario you describe is the one doing the Rage Quitting.

    I don't mind how you play as long as you try.
    • I think the no-hologram feature should stay as it is now. I find it quite good to see the real characters in the Collection menu (especially when you want to examine skins accurately), but I also think they should be kept in the match lobby because they're cool, although there's some work to be done with lights (some parts are way too white).
    • About the "new roll-system" I don't like the "zoom-and-follow" camera behavior, I find it quite confusing and distracting. Maybe some more speed should be given to the roll action itself (both for heroes/villains and for troopers).
    • The new menus style is really nice, although I'd add some music in the background as it was before the patch.
    • I'm very happy about the faster loading times and the improved graphics quality.

  • The new menu is good. As I jumped back to the first battlefront game yesterday I noticed that I still missed something in battlefront 2: statistics that show how many players I've killed with which weapon/vehicle, kill/death rate in the scoreboard.
    -> I just wanted to show you that you got that in the old game, which still has a player base, so why not in the new game?

    I have two wishes:
    - could there be a mod like starfighter heroes or something like that, because it is nearly impossible to level up as fast as with the heroes or at least an additional starfighter mode. I like flying in space, but only one game mode, really?

    - More content of Episode III and II

    Enough with critics:
    I like the new hero mode and the new menu it's very well implemented.

    Thank you that you brought back the Ewok Hunt Mode.

    So far, I absolutely love the new HVV mode. It's a ton of fun, and you guys did a great job. There are two key things the mode needs to take it to the next level. First, we need more then one map. I've played about ten or twelve sessions on that map, and its starting to get a bit old. Ideally, I'd love to see all the regular HVV matches patched over. Hopefully you guys can do this in the next update, rather then adding one extra map like jet pack.

    Second, it appears that Iden's stun isn't working in this mode. I've tried it four times, and all four times I've gained, health, the ability deactivated, and the hero wasn't stunned.
  • The new changes look nice but how about giving us trooper skins for empire, first order, republic, and separatists? I’d definitely spend money on that.

    I'm very happy with Custom Starfighter. It would be better with objectives but If It's hard to make it I'm fine with TDM ;)

    Jabba's Palace is beautiful!

    PLEASE, PLEASE don't forget the Mode with big maps + vehicles for Arcade!

    this is a small thing but visually annoying, the lights on the character's heads in the unit selection screens are far too bright, leading to visual washout. im not sure how this escaped QA since it's very obvious.

    How about we get some balance to matchmaking finally? I decided to actually play for more than 5 seconds today, and in all 7 of my GA games, I was steam rolled. I switched after each map to a different server too.
    So until matchmaking gets an ELO system, I am done with this game.
  • Having issues returning to the main menu when leaving heroes showdown. It's required a game restart twice.

    My first impression is that The lightsaber "dancing" seems to be an improvement.
