Today we lost a legend to heart failure, and I remember I spent about an hour crying. I still can’t belive he’s gone.

Anybody that wants to know what he was like, should read this. He was an amazing man, and will be remembered as, Saruman, Dooku, Dracula, the Mummy, Wilber Wonka, and so many others. He fought in WWII, and was a genuine hero. He read the LotR trilogy every year since its release in the early 50's. I will always remember him, for he was a great and noble man.

I actually forgot he passed. He's one of those actors (along with Gene Wilder, Ian Mckellen) where I would have loved to have been born younger to experience his career as it went on. I'm 33 and he of course has done a ton of stuff in just that time but I mean to see his career start and all. It was always exciting to see him because he always commanded so much presence.

He is one of those guys I wish I had met in real life, like Gene Wilder.

I believe that was the first movie I ever saw him in. I didn't realise he played Francisco Scaramanga until after his death though.
