Republic Enforcer Wookiee change to ARC Trooper

With the future Clone Wars update, that could be a decent time to change or somehow add a character. The Wookiee is the enforcer for the Republic, Rebel Alliance, and the Resistance. The Wookiees would have only been on Kashyyyk, and don't belong on any other battlefield. Also, having the same enforcer for three of the six teams isn't very interesting. Not only would an ARC Trooper be canon, but it would add a new element to the game. They could use a DC-15A Blaster Rifle or a DC-17m blaster. It's just an idea, but it could be an interesting change.

  • You could also add a dual wield mechanic for dc-17’a with a modified dc15a (like leia’s E11) as an ability

The Wookiee’s make more sense with the clones to be honest.

Yeah but only on Kashyyyk. Wookiees shouldn't be on Kamino or Naboo.

Exactly cuz I don't remember Wookiees fighting any other battles with the clones other than Kashyyyk in ROT movie so it Wookiees enforcers should only be used on Kashyyyk ARC TROOPERS make it happen soon @F8RGE
  • Literally the only enforcer in the game for light side factions is the Wookie Warrior, that's just lazy on the dev's part, and it's boring for us. I always look forward to earning a super battle droid, a flame trooper or best of all a death trooper, but because they're the only enforcer the good guys have the Wookie's are so common they've lost their significance. Wookies shouldn't feel mundane, but they show up so much they do.

I know that getting access to better soldiers is a good reward for getting points in the game. I played the old SWBF2 game and I remember unlocking the Jet Trooper and the Clone Commander (even thought that character model is actually a Republic Marine) and it was different than getting access to a Wookiee Warrior. I'm not asking for the Super Battle Droid to change to a Droideka (that would remove ALL balance) but an enforcer that doesn't have hair for armor would be nice. Be it an ARC Trooper, a Clone Commando, or another highly trained clone, the change would make a huge difference. There are already characters with visors and pauldrons, they would just need to add the kama. Sometimes the little content changes that involve tons of new coding really improve games.
The officer is still frequently viewed as unbalanced, even though it rewards players for being acurate but with a weapon that fires faster than most sniper rifles. I have talked to people in servers that feel that it's easier to take out the other team's enforcer when playing as a Wookiee than to take out a Wookiee when playing as another enforcer. Maybe it's just bad aim, but I doubt that is always the reason.

The update that includes the ability to buy the appearances for Clone Troopers, Storm Troopers, and First Order Troopers (maybe even droids) has not been released, so far it is only for rebels and resistance troops. I'm not sure if the skins are even done yet over at DICE.

Well I hope they will come soon

Yes, along with a sentinel class that includes arc trooper, droidekas and a rebel pilot.

Troopers need more love in this game.
There are quite a few trooper skins that could be added but haven't been yet.
More than sick of the black and whites.

  • I hope the developers really are working in big something . Because these skins are very easy to make, some are only a texture different (shock troopers, shadow troopers, etc)

The devs are going to have a lot of fun with the balance involved with the Droideka if they do implement it. "Droideka" and "Game balance" do not belong in the same sentence.

That is not exactly accurate. You can purchase officer skins on the dark side and that is about it.

Did you ever play the Droideka in the old game? It's no OP at anything but close range. It's slow as hell when deployed, it's hard to turn when rolled up and moving, and it sits so low to the ground that it can't fire over cover, so it must be in the open when firing. The only things going for them is their rolling speed and shields (which would be twice as strong as Specialists', if that). Otherwise, they're just slow-moving turrets.

If droidekas really are coming to the game, they'll be powerful when used as flanking units, but well-placed grenades (especially the Assault class' Ion Grenade) will instantly kill them because they will have no way to dodge, and shields do not prevent explosive, acidic/poison, or melee damage.
