It's being very laggy and kinda rubber band like. Delay is so noticeable. It gets worse when in heavy combat.

  • You'll also get that if you're playing against 2 or more players with hacks. The server spends more time adjusting to the amount of activity occurring over their connection.
  • I've noticed it too!! Since the latest update
  • PS4 too. It's horrible
  • Hmmm, I seem to have been spared that level of rubber banding on Xbox One. I do have minor banding issues, but they're few and far between. What region do you play in @JAREDUP ?
  • Ps4 as well. I've literally completed one game on ga without being frozen then kicked. Made multiple attempts at playing all weekend.

Yeah it's been bad on Xbox one. During heroes unleashed event, the connection and hit registration was great, but since then, especially with the matchmaking tests, it's just been horrid. On a fiber connection with ping of 18 to Virginia server should be excellent, but it's not. Don't have these issues with other games. They really need to get a handle on their Network setup. I feel sorry for those overseas trying to play on servers far away. Been there before.

All of the battlefield games go through this with there being a period of great connections and hit registration then patches break it and you wonder why you bought or tried another battlefield game. Seen this trend for years on all platforms and several high speed ISP's in different locations. Kept thinking they finally fixed when a new game would come out and hit registration was great in beta or early release, then a patch comes along and ruins the whole online multiplayer experience with lag warping and horrid hit registration.

It doesn't matter what internet service you have or switch to. At some point, it's going to get broken in the life of a game running on Frostbite and/or EA servers.

Same for me, this weekend I had grenades coming back at me like boomerangs again, block doesn't work when playing as a hero, force powers did not register if it even worked at all. haven't experienced that in a long time.

    Ps4 pro.
    wired fibre connection.

I played on both Virginia and Oregon yesterday, the lag was minor for me
Ohio seems to still be off.

I don't really get lag but...*heavy sigh* I think the matches that I play have serious amounts of input delay. I press the stick to look left but the game takes like two or three seconds before registering the command. And for some reason when I look around a lot, the camera just kinda...drifts off for a second or two before I can control it again. This happens in smaller games as well. Input delay more often than not has been my main cause of death when playing in matches. That and the Specialist melee glitch.

I keep changing this for whatever reason but ehh...It can stay like this I suppose.
  • Playing Specialist is nearly impossible for me right now. No headshots are landing since the player isn’t actually where I am shooting.
Find me in Blast, Strike, or sometimes GA, usually playing Officer/Specialist/Aerial... u/n cosworth99. #oldguy
Add me (xbox Oregon server) if you like

Well, the net code is obviously trash and has been since launch. B b b but it looks great.. The devs are indirectly confirming it by ignoring the issue and haven't answered one single question about it. One thing is certain, i will never buy a DICE game again. Maby if it's on sale for $10.

Chasing this down for you, this popped up back in April:

  • The lag is becoming unbearable. Quake ran better on 56k back in the day that this is. About to play on an overseas server to justify the lag. Come on Dice, fix your network issues on your servers.
  • I rarely have problems.

Exactly that's part of it too. But I have both lag and that

That’s the term I’ve been trying to remember. It’s gotten MUCH worse and it’s not just me today. Almost every HvV game played end led up being a blasterfest because sabers and force abilities are rarely working if you’re nose to nose with someone. Even Kylos Frenzy swings are “as normal” instead his usual emo tantrums.
  • Not just on Xbox. I suddenly feel like a really bad player as I get stuck all the time. Not my internet, that’s for sure. It was working fine before last patch. I’m just getting tired of this. Almost not enough content for all the trouble.
