    yeah, I hope they will add Geonosis to Arcade & Blast & Hero modes sometime soon. It's great to have finally a new GA map, but every new locations should be added to Arcade & small game modes too.

    I wish you guys would spend more time trying to fix bugs as oppossed to adding new costumes to characters.

    Your over-reaction on nerfing officers is beyond excessive. You turned the blurgg from a great choice to basically unusuable, so now we only have 1 possibility as a weapon for officer. Totally overshadowed what otherwise would be a great update

    Other then this I'm really excited for this update. Still, I hate that I can no longer play the game the way I have since release. Have to abandon my favorite gun. The non-blurg changes made some sense, but this was way overdramatic. Hopefully you guys can change it to something less extreme in between

  • Officer nerfs aren't near as bad as I thought they would be. No dramatic changes other than the blurrg overnerf. Moved on to the SE44c right before the last round of blurrg nerfs, so I'm feeling fine about the changes. Hero farmers will still main the class, no dramatic differences. Chewie will still be OP, just need to change the way he is used. Happy that the in-game notifications regarding challenges will be fixed. Excited for Genosis and Obi Wan. Thanks team, let's hope this rolls out with minor issues.

  • Thank you for this, I am really excited for the new map, and Obi-Wan, plus the great fixes for Grievous.

    But I am truly sad for Blurrg, that was my favourite gun, now it will be too weak.

    Also Luke, Yoda, Kylo desperately need some buffs.

  • You guys are gonna make Officer go the way of the homing shot. I get the flash grenade should be nerfed no doubt, so should the bp crutch, their guns however fine imo. At this point why not just remove anything that kills faster than a tranc gun, or maybe give us all paint ball guns, as usual casuals and scrubs cry the loudest.
  • Love the nerf on officer guns... Love to see noob Blurgers complain about it lol, now it will take some skill to kill with it... But S5 nerf was not necesary realy...
    Do the BP gain will not change much... Officers will stil get the points fastest...
    Otherthan that like many others said... Luke, Yoda and Kylo have broken abilities that often wont work so after so much time I would appreciate the fix.

  • All updates and changes sound great except the officer gun nerfs. WTH?! That was completely unnecessary. Was expecting a BP nerf on presence or battle command. How does nerfing the guns correct that?

    The BP gain is the main culprit for officer spam because of all the try-hards wanting heroes on the first phase. Common sense to me. Why is this so difficult?
  • Most of the time I can't zoom when I use leia's rapid fire ability. You need to fix it. It is a very easy bug to fix.

  • Recommend that you just kill switch Officer and go back to the drawing board. Just Make it a medic or something, because it’s clear that you have no clue what to do with it right now.
  • One thing no one is talking about it how the dialogue between the heroes has been broken for ages, at least on PS4. Also emotes don’t trigger a lot of the time. A shame as the dialogue between the heroes was such a nice touch!

    With General Grievous arriving last month, it’s only fitting that the Jedi with whom he regularly clashed joins the battlefront. Say “Hello there” as Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi joins the roster of heroes in Star Wars™ Battlefront II, ready to face off against General Grievous and others.

    We’re incredibly excited to be bringing one of the most requested characters to date into Star Wars Battlefront II and we can’t wait to see him in action.

    Obi-Wan Kenobi will cost 35,000 credits (and will not be available via crystals). He will also come with an additional appearance, “Robed”, which will be classified as Epic and cost 40,000 credits or 1,000 Crystals.

    The 212th Attack Battalion will be priced at 20,000 credits or 500 Crystals each, and available for Assault, Heavy and Specialist classes for the Galactic Republic. If you’re looking to pick up all three appearances, you’ll be able to take advantage of a bundle that costs 40,000 credits. This special bundle will be available from within the crate menu.

    Galactic Assault gets a new battlefront in the form of the planet Geonosis.

    Step onto one of the largest planets we’ve created for Star Wars Battlefront II and become part of the history of one of the Clone Wars most iconic and important locations.

    At the heart of the Geonosis experience is the AT-TE. This six-legged armored walker is fully controllable and plays a vital role on the battlefront. Clone Troopers will want to protect their AT-TE’s at all costs, while the Droids will need to do everything they can to stop their advance.

    Alongside the AT-TE, two other vehicles will be arriving on Geonosis. Both the BARC and STAP speeders are fast and agile, allowing for accelerated movement around the battlefront. What they lack in durability they make up for in speed; the perfect set of vehicles for traversing the Geonosis landscape as quick as possible.

    Not to be outshined by Obi-Wan Kenobi, General Grievous will also be receiving a brand-new appearance in this update.
    Enduring punishment unimaginable to any organic being, General Grievous pursued the obliteration his enemies whatever the cost. Frequently broken beyond repair, Grievous's cybernetics were easily replaced but his conquests would stand the test of time.

    This is a brand-new look for General Grievous, never before seen in Star Wars and we’re incredibly excited to seeing it in action on the battlefront.

    The Shattered Armor Appearance for General Grievous will be classified as Legendary and cost 80,000 credits or 2,000 crystals.

    OFFICER

    • Flash Grenade: Removed movement impairing effects that would occur when affected by the flash

    • Blurrg-1120: Reduced Start Damage *(*32->25) and End Damage (14->12)
    • SE-44C: Reduced Start Damage (33->31) and End Damage (17->15)
    • S-5: Reduced distance before damage fall off starts (20->15)

    SPECIALIST
    • Fixed an issue where the crosshair for the Specialist's weapon would change, whenever the player is equipping the weapon with a magnification attachment

    HERO CHANGES
    GENERAL GRIEVOUS

    • Improved the reliability of Unrelenting Advance blocking incoming blaster shots from the front side. Unrelenting Advance will not be blocking explosive shots or special Hero abilities
    • Improved Grievous’ rotation speed when using Unrelenting Advance
    • Increased Unrelenting Advance damage from 75 to 110 points
    • Reduced how often Grievous' Unrelenting Advance deals damage from 1.5 seconds to 0.75 seconds
    • Fixed issues that would occasionally allow Grievous to re-trigger the Unrelenting Advance ability
    • Fixed an issue where Grievous’ hands during Unrelenting Advance would not be visibly spinning for other players
    • Improved the chances of Thrust Surge connecting with the enemy. Enemies who manage to get out of the way in a timely manner, can still avoid Grievous’ Thrust Surge.
    • Fixed an issue where Grievous would get locked into a spinning and running animation after performing Thrust Surge on a dead enemy
    • Improved the UI for Grievous’ Thrust Surge indicator. The UI indicator comes up faster and more reliably when the ability is ready to be performed on an enemy.
    • Fixed an issue where Grievous' lightsabers would change halfway through the "Thrust Surge" animation
    • Fixed a visual issue where Grievous' hand would be partially visible when observed from a distance
    • Fixed an issue where Grievous' stun animation would last longer compared to other stunned heroes
    • Fixed an issue where Grievous' Victory Poses would overlap with other heroes on the End-Of-Round screen
    • Fixed an issue where equipping the "Line Up, Weaklings" Star Card would cause Claw Rush to not deal damage to more than 1 enemy when playing on Arcade
    • Further iterated on SFX, VFX and Animations in regards to Grievous' movement, attacks and abilities

    LUKE SKYWALKER
    • Fixed an issue where Luke Skywalker's first damage would not always register against an enemy

    CHEWBACCA

    Made adjustments to Chewbacca's Stun Grenade, as well as the fire rate and bullet heat per shot of the Furious Bowcaster, to prevent possible instant kills when Chewbacca has full health.
    • Reduced fire rate of Furious Bowcaster from 110 to 90
    • Reduced stun time of the Stun Grenade from 1 second to 0.75 seconds
    • Increased overheat per bullet from 0.057 to 0.075
    • Reduced number of shots possible with Furious Bowcaster from 14 to 10
    • Reduced the cooldown for the Furious Bowcaster ability from 25 to 20 to improve Chewbacca's reliability in Galactic Assault

    Reduced Chewbacca's explosive damage and increased the blaster damage to balance Chewbacca's attacks against Lightsaber-wielding enemies.
    • Reduced explosive damage of main bullet from 40 to 25
    • Increased blaster damage from main bullet from 30 to 40
    • Increased end damage of main bullet from 30 to 35
    • Reduced explosive damage of Scatter bullet from Furious Bowcaster from 15 to 10
    • Increased blaster damage of Scatter bullet from Furious Bowcaster from 20 to 25

    ARCADE CHANGES
    • Improved gameplay flow on Arcade, by removing Spawn timer on Arcade

    STARFIGHTER CUSTOM ARCADE
    • Fixed an issue where players playing as Separatist Starfighters, would spawn inside Out Of Bounds areas of the map on Ryloth and Kamino

    SQUAD SPAWN CHANGES
    • Delayed the timer for squad formation until the game mode starts, to prevent issues with group squads not forming while the End-Of-Round matchmaking is on
    • Enabled ability to squad spawn on the Clone Jump Trooper
    • Removed the "In Combat" effect for when players would shoot their gun without a target

    MATCHMAKING CHANGES
    • Various stability fixes for End-Of-Round Matchmaking in regards to players playing with friends in parties

    MAP CHANGES
    KAMINO

    • Fixed an issue where the game on PC, would occasionally freeze for a couple of seconds after advancing to the last phase.

    KESSEL
    • Collision fixes to prevent clipping through specific rock assets

    JABBA'S PALACE
    • Collision fixes to prevent clipping through the wall and outside the playable area

    VEHICLE CHANGES
    • Reduced speeders collision damage to prevent road kills at low speed

    74-Z SPEEDER BIKE
    • Applied gamepad aiming improvements to the 74-Z Speeder Bike

    AAT
    • Increased High Explosive Shells blast damage from 100 to 150 points
    • Added a reticle for the High Explosive Shells ability
    • Fixed an issue that prevented the Siege Mode ability on the AAT from increasing damage correctly

    GENERAL CHANGES/MISC
    • Fixed an issue where the progression towards Timed Challenges would not show up during the End-Of-Round screen
    • Fixed an issue where a box counting down to new Timed Challenges would not show up on the Home screen
    • Fixed an issue that would cause a notification for the completed timed challenges to appear every time the title is booted
    • Fixed an issue where the pop-up for completing an inactive timed challenge would show up with an empty description
    • Fixed an issue where the player would be occasionally prompted with nine Timed Challenges, instead of three
    • Fixed an issue where players would occasionally receive the wrong prompt when completing the "Blast Them To Pieces" Timed Challenge
    • Fixed an issue where selected heroes were not always highlighted on the deploy screen when playing Heroes Vs. Villains or Hero Showdown.
    • Fixed various visual issues in regards to lighting and reflections in the Spawn and End-Of-Round screens
    KNOWN ISSUES
    • An issue has occurred where some of the explosion VFX will occasionally not be visible when they should. The issue currently affects Han Solo’s Detonite Charge grenade and parts of the AT-TE body. The issue is being investigated and expected to be fixed at a later update.
    • The Blaster Turret and the Ion Turret will occasionally not successfully lock-on an enemy AT-TE. The issue is being investigated and expected to be fixed at a later update.

    good to see you guys are actually attempting to fix some of the bugs that have been plaguing the game forever, like lukes first swing, i just hope you continue this trend. we could really use a weekly maintenance, quality of life, and bug fixes to get this game to level it should be. maybe you all could dedicate december to bug fixes, since there seems to be no major patches scheduled for that month!? i am glad to see you all adding content and trying to revive this game but, i think it will be all for nothing if you dont fix all the bugs in the game at this point.

    another quick way to help revive the community and peak interest would be to add more hero skins and different weapons imo. appearance customization seems like a gold mine to me and i would think that would be a no brainer. most shooter games have that customization as a fundamental part of their business model. just a thought...anyway things seems to be starting to move in the right direction and i hope that momentum continues.

    The weapons were fine the way they were and the battle command BP gain was not nerfed; it should have been.

    Next patch, revert the weapons back to where they were and reduce BP gain for Battle commands :)

    Yes, officers could quickly rack up BP, but the pistols did have too high a damage output. I have no idea how many times I saw very good players with the TL-50 or the CR-2 ranking top in the match get out gunned in a head-on fight with an officer ranked in the middle of the team. Players that used the officer could get a lot of points, but that was not only because of the BP gain. Some of the pistols killed too quickly. Real pistols would lose to almost any other type of gun. But for the sake of balance, the pistols had to be as good as a normal primary weapon, but they were made too strong, and many players have always exploited that.
    I'm glad that the officer class is getting more changes to make it more balanced, despite how long it took. Games will always have OP weapons that players use until they are fixed, but nerfs and buffs in the game can help make it more balanced. Maybe it was the fact that very strong guns were easily beaten by guns that are normally a secondary weapon, but honestly knowing that half my deaths were to the officer class was more than irritating. Not that officers should have used shotguns like the engineers did in the old SWBF2, but give them balanced weapons that are not tiny rapid firing sniper rifles that are held in one hand.
    And not to hate on players, but how many of the people that want the pistols to be buffed again normally play as just the officer because they do very well.

    I am disappointed too. May they should stop producing content, that very probably will add more bugs, for the moment and concentrate on fixing all this unnecessary already existing ones. It's better to have a fixed game with less content, than a game with much buggy content.

    Officers:
    Undo the SE-44C and S5 nerfs. Hardly anyone uses the S5 anyways.

    Make all command abilities start on cool down when they spawn.

    Assault:
    Increase heath to 175.

    Reduce Vanguard transition to primary weapon by half.

    Heavy:
    Increase duration of supercharger sentry by 50%
  • Hey @F8RGE noticed map fixes but none for the upper center room on Yavin4?
    You can roll behind a wall and lots of people in HvV exploit this to be immune to bullets and hard to get to if you don't know how to do it.
  • Sorry but the Blurrg was RIDICULOUS with exp shot. I love playing Officer and I routinely felt overpowered with that gun. I dropped wookies and death troopers within seconds one on one with that thing. Definitely needed Nerf.

    As for those whining about Battle points : stop trying to get the most kills and do the objective, I'm usually top score with my heavy for this reason and bottom score with sniper
  • A delay of 5 seconds for the use of Battle Commands at the start of each match in GA would of been the only thing needed to slow the BP gain of Officers. This nerf to OP will do little to change the bp gain.
    The nerfs to the Officers weapons...not sure they were needed, but if you make it so the Officer can't even defend themselves then no one will play the class. We shall see.
    After the new HOK cards for Heroes the killstreak records in GA have been going up. Will the nerfing of the Flash Grenade make Heroes even more God-like in GA?

    The 5 second delay is one of the best suggestions I've heard. Couldn't agree more.
    • Chewie Health card is a joke
    • Spawn timer should be like before and able to select a Class during the Timer. Now its not even possible after 0 so extra second. Heroes get picked before you can just because of the bad current Spawn timer.
    Priority list:

    1. Fix Split Screen bugs
    2. Fix other bugs
    3. Reduce the overly bright (lightsaber) light reflections
    4. 91st Scout trooper for Assault
    5. Server renting

    I would like to know when Geonosis is coming Arcade as well.
    I am the same user as Elimelech401, that account was not tied to the game. I am hoping for more Skirmish with split screen and hero AI.
  • Are you aware of an issue on Heros vs villans?
    So once I choose my character I can't change it. If I am defeated I cannot change character. Especially when I need to tactically switch to Bossk or Boba Fett to rack up some kills! Any solution?

    Most recent note of errors for me is in GA during the use in at-st the grenade launcher after a while nothing happens when you hit fire, it reloads and nothing then it relaods and it fires correct then reloads and nothing is this a known Bug?

    I've noticed this when i use the 40% "fast recharge" starcard for grenade launcher in AT-ST

  • Officer guns don’t need to be nerfed I agree with the point nerd and flash nerd but the guns are fine, everything else looks great just wish all the glitches got fixed like bossk thermal vision not always working
