Luke Skywalker has fallen victim to the power creep of lightsaber heroes and should receive the treatment that Kylo Ren just did.
His basic and Rush damage should see an increase. The average suggested seems to be 120.
His regen threshold (200) is entirely too low in the hero climate now and should be bumped up to at least 250. Every saber villain except for Maul can deal permanent damage to Luke in merely 2 hits.
This is the bare minimum needed for Luke. More than this would be nice. He could honestly use a better card selection at some point.
EDIT: this is to make him more competitive in hero modes.

I love all the heroes and i feel that most of them are very well balanced by now if you ignore the endless bugs this game has.
But Anakin is still too OP not because of damage dealt but just because of the sheer radius its 360° and has a huuuge range. These two abilities are constantly in use so all you see is anakin jumping around in GA clearing the map with his 2 abilities that require no aiming or any form of skill!
IMO not balanced
I would much rather have fun learning how to skillfully play a balanced hero than play one that can just clear his whole vicinity of enemies without even trying.

He deals only 100 dmg per lightsaber strike, and his swinging speed is just average. For example Rey not only deals more damage but her strikes are also faster (!). Her dash is also very useful against heroes/reinforcements. On the contrary , Luke's abilities not only deal pathetic damage to heroes, but are also even more useless due to blocking/shooting while on the ground bug. His health regen is fast, but it's only 200 hp, which means 2 saber strikes can punish him pernamently. Also his abilities still tend to not work. From my experiance, push and repulse are the most unreliable in the game.
I think Darth Maul could use some buffs too. IMO he needs to have slightly more damage and maybe a little more health/health regen (due to his lack of block). I would also recommend buffing Finn, Leia ( e.g her grenade) and maybe Obi Wan a little bit. Chewie could use some normal HOK starcard to improve in GA.
And ofc Anakin. He's breaking Galactic Assault. I'm getting huge killstreaks with him without an effort. I would recommend nerfing his heroic might and his 4th ability a little more and then see what happens.
HvV: I have reached the top podium spot with every single character, Light Side and Dark Side (Yes, even with Phasma).
GA: Heroes Unleashed removes any perceived imbalance. Just sayin’.
* I really like the position of @Drfeelbad that every character should be given a fourth ability. If this is already in the works, and Anakin was a test case to “collect data” to see how people reacted, then good on you. If not, get on it.
I’m curious as to why you asked us to delineate GA vs HvV for our responses. Hasn’t it been made repeatedly and abundantly clear that you cannot separate/modify abilities across the modes for each Hero/Villain; that it’s a one-size-fits-all implementation?
For now, please pay attention to glitches such as not being able to use Boba's jetpack, lack of a lightsaber block, not being able to attack and the abilities not working. I'm sick of buying new controllers because some of those glitches seriously[removed] me off when I'm on a kill streak and suddenly I either get stuck in animation or the block just doesn't want to work, resulting in me dying and subsequently rage quitting.

Maul is in somewhat rough shape(HvV) due to his inability to block.
Leia I have always felt was very weak(HvV). Her abilities don't mesh with that mode well.
And I know this will never happen, but I personally liked the BF2015 system where heroes could one-shot infantry. They are heroes and they should feel powerful. Just my 2 cents. Thanks for asking about this issue!
All saber users do minimum of 150 damage if hitting from behind
All blaster heroes get 50 more health regeneration
All heroes aside from Anakin get 50 more base health

Also it's really nice to want to balance HvV but take a look at GA too, lightside is ridiculous right now, they have basically access to everything : huge area damage, survivability, intel capability while the dark side only has area damage that can anyway be mitigated by LS abilities.
Considering the new heroes and the super strong Anakin, Vader and Luke seem to be outdated. They need some tweaks to be in line with the new heroes.
Vader:
force choke:
I will never get tired of saying it, Vader's choke need a buff vs infantry. In Galactic Assault it is one of the worst abilities, it have a big risk and a little benefit!
It need to inflict 150 damages to infantry enemies, and Vader should have a 50% damage reduction while performing it. Anakin have 90% damage reduction, Kenobi 80% Kylo Ren 40% during frenzy, so Vader need this as well considering that he is a sit duck when he use the choke.
focused rage:
Vader swings when his rage is active need to inflict 150 damages to be useful enough in GA, Dooku duelist is 160, can increase the speed of the swings and have cards to put it at 180 so address Vader to be in line with new characters. 150 damages on his focused rage it is needed.
Health or health Regen:
Is he a tank no? But new heroes have higher regen than him, put his health regen from 250 to 300. Or bring back his 900 health at base
Luke:
base damage:
His base damage is 100, the lower of the lightsaber character with Maul, but Maul can swing faster and don't have stamina. Luke need for sure 120 damages on his base attacks.
Push and repulse damage:
It is ok vs infantry but should be a little higher vs enemy heroes. Push is now 90 vs heroes, should be 120, and 120 repulse against villains.
Repulse damage reduction:
Same as Vader, Luke should have a damage reduction while performing his repulse, a 50% damage reduction will be fine, it don't need 80% like kenobi because repulse animation is faster, but definitely a 50% is needed.
health regen: Yes his health regen is faster, but honestly it should be anyway 250 and not 200 like now.
Other heroes tweaks:
Palpatine: need a weak block vs blasters
Chewbacca: need a better health card
Phasma: better health card and lunge on first staff strike
Boba: tweaks on his EE-3, more health regen
Kenobi: his defensive rush should be activable when he block and should block Palpatine lightning.
Yoda: should jump higher, need a block
Maul: need a block
Anakin: he is still too strong in general.
These are GA
Something that makes me wonder/drives me crazy is why some heroes are hamstrung. Some have negatives attached to them, while others are killing machines. Examples:
Phasma, chewie, Yoda, finn - hok cards tied to certain skills. Why? Gives them a distinct disadvantage over other heroes. Why are they punished?
Speaking of hok - why does it unlock at different levels? Should be same for every hero. Earlier the better for ga. Right now I have little motivation to play a hero with no hok card when i have others to choose from that do, ensuring a better round.
Phasma - blaster is difficult, why the wide crosshair at the beginning? No other blaster hero has that issue. Would she really be OP with a static crosshair? The bolts dont do that much damage and are slow.
Lightsaber damage - really wide variation right now. Kylo buff was good. Luke and maul now fight with twizzlers. Either some of the new ones should be brought down, or the old ones buffed up.
Why does vader lose all stamina after rage expires? No negative for finn, Yoda after their buffs wear off. Why is vader punished? Making your tank suddenly defenseless doesn't make sense.
My request would be to really take a look at your recent heroes (dooku, grievous, obi, anakin) and compare them to the old ones. And if they're really far apart (spoiler: they are) bring them together.
Dooku: need 30% more range on his lightning
Han, Lando, Chewbacca, Iden, Boba, phasma: 200 health regen, not 150
Vader- with the addition of his light side counterpart he should do a base damage of 140 & 160 from behind with fueling the rage boosting his power to 170. Enabling him to 1 shot troopers. Furious resilience should grant him 50% damage reduction. Additionally force choke should grant him at least 25% damage reduction. His force choke should also be in a 360 radius & choke whoever is in the short area similar to anakins repulse without the charge. Buff his health to 900 again & get rid of the bonus health.
Luke- give him 120 & 150 damage on basic swings, 130 with rush. His force push should do 150 damage & repulse 120 against heros.
Maul- saber swings should do 120 & 150 from behind, his rush should burn through stamina more & do 130 damage. His force choke & push should do 150 to troopers & 100 to heros. If he never gets a block than he should have a force push immunity. Maul is getting ragdolled currently, push into push into push into repulse into repulse.
Leia- let her shield block Palpatines lightening & give her & allies faster health regen & let them regen perma health when in her bubble.
Obi-Wan- look at anakin, dooku, grevious & try not to laugh. Increase his health to 850 & nerf his health regen to 250. Allow him to be the defensive tank he's supposed to be. Increase the speed of defensive rush similar to rey's dash strike. His swing speed should also be increased as well & his mind trick should give him a immunity to stuns & force powers similar to heroic might that way he can't be shocked or frozen while casting his move. Mind trick should also burn through stamina at a faster rate. Currently mind trick is useless in its on & you need anakin or rey to make it useful. Mind trick should also have 40 % damage reduction.
Boba- increase health to 650 now that anakin is here 550 is gone in his strike, repulse combo. Add a ultimate where it's his flamethrower from battlefront 1 get rid of his melee & have the jetpack fuel shown above his health like how it was from battlefront 1. Let players be able to zoom in with his melee button. Finally concussive rockets should do 50 damage & slow down enemies affected for 3 seconds.
Rey- lightsaber strikes do the same damage as kylo's & dash can break blocks.
Phasma- health on kill is put to her f11. Stun droid can be picked up. Her f11 should be accurate by default & not by firing. For both modes
-Revert jetpack to how it worked originally, more focused on horizontal movement than vertical movement.
-Reduce the speed of it to roughly 60% of what it usually would be.
-Make it take about 0.5 seconds longer for boba to properly start his ascent when holding the jetpack button
-Increase the start damage of each blaster bolt from 35 to 45 and the end damage from 20 to 30.
-Increase the damage drop off from 20m to 30m
-Change the reticle to the one from battlefront 2015
-Move the melee to the y/triangle button on console and allow for toggle zoom when pressing the right stick (same as bf 2015)
-Concussion rocket should actually blind enemies or at least increase the blur effect to make it harder to see what’s going on
-Enemies should be affected 2 seconds longer than normal
-Enemies killed during for the hunt restore 20 base health without his hok card
-For the hunt has a 4 second longer cooldown
-Increase base health to 650
-Increase regen by 50
For anyone saying this is a stupid idea, please explain your opinion. This would make him play a bit more like the first game, and the extra health and damage is balanced out with slower jetpack movement, making him play more strategically and not be able to run for the entire game.
Nerfs:
Palpatine: would be reasonable if you would just eliminate his ability to bounce up and down so high and often. This is what the experienced players have always done to exploit his character, and there is absolutely no counter for him if you're a trooper and he is facing you. He should be able to get stunned in some way by grenade or weapon to slow down and possibly escape an instant kill.
Grievous: I've been saying this for awhile - he does not have force powers and should not be able to successfully block all incoming laser fire. Just because he has lightsabers does not put his on equal ground with the powers of a force user, despite his training and cybernetics. He is built like a tank, and already has plenty of powerful attributes.
I can argue about Bossk or Boba Fett, but it really comes down to the skill level of the player, but they can be a real nuisance in the right hands.
Balance/buffs:
I'd say Rey is the most balanced, Vader is as he should be, Kylo Ren about right. Others have their strengths and weaknesses. Luke has come a long way, but still is not as strong as he should be; I really dislike his repulse ability and always thought something more appropriate to his canon character should replace that ability. His dash strike is still awkward. Obi-Wan is also weaker than he really should be.
I've played enough HvV games since launch that I am just beyond exasperation with all the pushes, getting thrown off platforms, and prolonged immobilizing effects. Would like to see a faster spawn timer as well.

VILLAINS:-
1) VADER
well i know he is possibly the best dark side villain and very fun to play...but, his choke kinda feels underwhelming and its more risky than rewarding...so i think a damage increase to 150 and a 30%-50% damage reduction would be awesome!
2)CAPN. PHASMA
I feel like she’s a lot of fun to play but once you’re low on health...there’s nothing much you can do...for that reason i think she deserves a HOK card....
3)BOBA FETT
Possibly my second fav villain (after vader) I absolutely LooooVe playing as him and i feel his blaster and his abilities are in a great place but his health is where he struggles..so, health increase by 100 (to 650)and a better regen would be aweeesomeeee...and also tweaking his jetpack fuel would also help....
HEROES:-
1)FINN
I think playing as Finn is fun but again there’s nothing much you can do when you’re low on health so HOK for him would be good but the main problem woth him is that his damage output is kinda underwhelming...and also his abilities are too..so,as most of his abilities are tied to his blaster i think a damage cap increase per bolt would make him waaayyy stronger...
2)CHEWBACCA
Roughly the weakest hero in the game...there’s absolutely no point playing him in GA...he has a great damage output but his regen is the issue...health regen increase to 250 would make him perfect and alternately giving him a HOK
Card will also make him better....
And lastly, this is kind of a long shot but im a huge fan of lightsaber heroes one shotting regular troopers (except heavy ofc.) so...make that of what you will....
Anyway i love this game and will support this game till the end and i LOOOVEEEE the new heroes...keep up the good work and im looking forward to what’s ahead....

Yoda needs a massive buff. He needs more acrobatic abilities--he should be able to jump up onto walls and flip off of them like a parkour athlete, while attacking. He absolutely needs a saber block.
Maul needs a saber block, and his saber throw turned horizontal to make it easier to hit enemies.
Luke needs a damage boost.
Blaster heroes/villains are fine. They already have their advantage with their annoying stun grenades, which, I assume, aren't going away any time soon.
Obi-Wan needs a health boost.
Vader's choke needs a buff.
Palps needs some authority given back to him so he doesn't get constantly cut down by saber users. His lightning could use a buff as well.
Iden - Fix sniper rifle
Grevious - Change movement of unrelenting advance to be normal movement range but at the same pace he moves currently. Also it doesn't block most heroes blaster shots like leia and lando.
Anakin - Needs more nerfs
Vader - More base damage to be in line with anakin. damage reduction during choke.
Yoda - lightsaber block or have him have a small window of invincibility during his flips while attacking that he is dodging light saber attacks.
Maul - some sort of block

Luke needs to deal the same amount of dmg he deals to troopers to the dmg he deals against heroes, im talking force powers, his saber dmg needs a slight buff also.
Vader needs to deal 150dmg with force choke and one shot troopers with furious resilence, he also needs dmg reduction on furious resilence without the card(around 15%).
Boba needs around 600hp
Anakin needs a nerf in GA mostly, his retribution is OP. His heroic might still need some tweaks against infantry.
Yoda needs to deal 150dmg with his saber. Needs to deal 150 with unleash min and 250 max.

Vader, Bossk, Maul, Grievous, Phasma, Fin, Han, Chewie, Iden, Obi-wan, Kylo. All these heroes seem the most balanced right now to me.
Who do you think is too strong?
The strongest character in the whole game is Anakin, Mainly his heroic might ability is too easy to spam and get kills with. I abuse it all the time in GA and get full health back everytime. Maybe make Anakin's resistance lower when he uses it to make it a more risky move to use and give it a longer cooldown, otherwise it is too broken. Another thing is Anakin has another force move that makes him over the top better than most which is his Retribution ability. Retribution is way too good and hard to counter because how instant it is, i suggest make it deal less damage because of how easy it is to abuse as well.
Notable characters that can be abused against infantry but are not too strong.
Yoda: This one is simple. Yoda himself is fine but His presence ability with cards gives too much health to allies around him making him the worst in GA. Completely easy mode on chokepoints on certain maps like Naboo.
Palpatine: The range of his lighting is too far. Makes him safe to use with his mobility and easy to kills tons of people with.
Who do you think could do with a bit of a buff?
Leia: Her blasters are great against Infantry but against villains she can die early, specially by using stuns on her. Her shield ability does nothing but gives villains the advantage because how the shield rewards damage being funneled inside, so her shield makes her dead weight when she uses it. Please give her shield something or change it entirely.
Luke: Needs to get more health back with HoK card.
Boba: Runs away too much. This is only a problem in HvV. I suggest making his Jetpack slower if hit for a brief amount of time and buffing his health a lot or something like that.
Dooku: I have a hard time getting his saber attacks to connect sometimes. Specifically in lightsaber duels when someone is getting stunned from my block, he can't do a followup attack like most lightsaber heroes.
That is all my feedback and suggestions. I hope you guys find it helpful because i would love to see the game succeed.
Also, let Phasma deploy her staff while she is being hit by a lightsabre. Reduce her droid stun a bit and get her away from being a pinch point camper.

Luke:
Increase his repulse damage to enemies
Decrease the damage luke is taken while using the repulse ability
Increase his rush damage to enemies.
Vader:
Decrease the damage vader is taken while using his choke ability
Increase lightsaber throw damage (a little bit, so it could one hit kill heavies).
Grievous:
Make his lightsaber blocking better
Iden:
Have droid shield block lightsaber attacks if a lightsaber hero is attacking the shield.
Boba:
Increase his health
Increase his primary weapon.
And i got no nerfs in mind.
Also give Maul a block! Uno it make sense
And I think more people would play SF if you got a bit more points from it. It takes ages to advance any ship
I take this idea from a twitter user under Ben Walkes twitter
1. Fix his throw
2. Give him a 1.5 - 2 seconds long block (with a little animation attached to it) that blocks force & saber, also deflects blasters but ricochets the blasters in random directions with a cool down of 4-5 seconds. Actually a pretty genius solution imo.
3. Give him an additional dash (very optional imo)
4. Make his F ability (the saber dash) up dmg from 100 -> 150 or at least 125.
That way we can keep his extreme mobility playstyle, and due to his very weak block he still does not need a stamina bar.
Win - win for everybody. Sounds pretty balanced to me.
@F8RGE please make it happen.
But the light side needs some small buffs.
Luke is average. Buff his lightsaber attacks.
His force abilities should do a bit more damage.
Then he would be fine.
Obi wan.
His mind trick should last maybe three seconds longer.
His devesive rush could knock enemy’s down.
That would make him perfect.
Han Solo could use a little more health. Maybe 50 hp.
Yoda.
Needs to jump higher. Give him a medium block.
Leia could use a forth ability. Something that gives her better chances in hvv.
Dark side
Maul needs a block. At leat a weak one that protects him from being used as a projectile by LS heros. He is getting thrown around like a ball at the moment.
And maybe increase the damage of his choke.
Sidious Lightning should slow the movements of his enemy down.
Also another dash would be cool.
Grivous unrelenting advance would do more damage. Nobody should be fine after waking into four rotating lightsabers.
Also he would take 30% less damage when using this ability.
Boba Fetts blaster needs to be more accurate and do more damage.
Phasmas Blaster also needs to do more damage.
Just my thoughts.
Darth Vader: His force choke, saber throw combo needs to be less effective against heroes
Darth Maul: saber throw needs to be fixed
Kylo: abilities not working consistently needs to be fixed
Palpatine: fine, for the most part, dark aura shouldn't stop heroes from jumping
Iden: Fix pulse cannon not working and either fix droid batteries or change the card description (change the card description if saber "combat" and "dodge" is gonna continue to be the worst thing ever)
Phasma: She needs her blaster to be better and less dependent on her droid. Needs regular health on kill
Grievance: His hit detection needs significant fixing and button mashing needs to be fixed
Doughku: Fine
Bossk: His mines should visual markers, his explosion visual effects need to be significantly toned down
Anakin: Health nerf, having 1000 health along with having multiple damage reductions are problematic in both GA and HvV and that's not counting having health buffs from Finn and Yoda. Heroic might and retribution should have smaller areas of effect. He should also be voiced by Hayden Christensen or a sound alike.
Yoda: Presence in GA needs a significant nerf, he needs a better way to fight saber users, and he needs his hit detection fixed.
Finn: His undercover team speed boost needs to be better if it is even working at all. Big Deal should give points.
REY: Hit detection with dash strike needs to be fixed, should also break block.
Luke: Abilities working needs to be fixed, should be buffed more for HvV.
Leia: Squad shield needs to have an actual use.
Han: Should charge should be more effective against troopers
Lando: smoke grenade should be given something to be more viable.
Chewbacca: Needs a regular Health on Kill
Obi-Wan: Push needs a bit of a rework, should be voiced by Ewan Mcgregor.
I absolutely hate it when people ask for her blaster to get a buff shes melts you in HvV the only thing that needs to be done is her accuracy mechanic needs to be removed so she can shoot without having to spray first to be accurate.
He should be able to run or walk faster while sharpshooter is active
His shoulder charge needs some serious tweaks as right now it’s only useful for running away in GA, it felt much better in BF2015
Leia:
Her flash grenade should be swapped with the officer’s
Her shield should give allies faster health regen and give them faster cooldowns while inside, maybe this could be a star car
Luke:
Saber damage needs an increase to 115
Push and repulse need better hit registration
Push should deal higher damage to villains Repulse needs damage reduction while activating
His rush should flow more smoothly with his running and give him a speed boost for a few seconds after use
Lando
His smoke grenade is useless in both modes, it doesn’t even stop saber villains from doing a closing strike like it’s supposed to
Chewbacca:
He needs a regular HOK
His charge should give a little damage reduction by default

~DARK SIDE~
Bossk- Abilities fine as is. Should buff up to 700 health and increase main fire rate of his Relby
Emperor- Abilities fine as is. Could use a force block like BF2015 with very limited stamina (could absorb very limited blaster fire like Yoda).
Phasma- Needs a regular HOK card (or passive ability for all heroes). Needs a damage buff to her gun. Make SURVIVOR a team (health-only) buff which would help objective play. Needs more damage to her staff strikes or a longer reach to counter rolls.
Boba Fett- Needs more health (700). Needs ability to zoom with his EE-3 and much less spread.
Darth Maul- Needs more health (750). Needs ability to block sabers and blaster fire with low stamina. Slight increase to his saber damage (110-120). And most importantly a rework of his saber throw to be comparable to Vader's (like a much larger hitbox and/or slight homing capability).
Darth Vader- Needs his previous health total back (1050/1100 max). Focused rage should not deplete stamina when done, should also increase his saber damage to 150 and damage reduction (up to 40% max). Choke shouldn't last as long for same amount of damage, have the dps at a much higher rate + should be able to block during choke animation and have larger radius.
Darth Tyrannus aka Count Dooku- Needs his lightning range (not radius) increased by 30-50%. Duelist and Expose Weakness animation should be shortened.
Kylo Ren- Needs a higher health regen (up to 300). Needs a faster swing speed. Harsh pull should do a base 50dmg. Freeze should have a wider arc/radius. Frenzy should be able to be triggered during movement and break a block for first hit.
General Grievous- Unrelenting Advance should be more maneuverable and have a faster walk speed. It should parry incoming lightsaber attacks and have a better blaster block. Thrust surge should break block if it doesn't do a regular hit, but do less damage.
Iden Versio - Needs more health (700). Should have a wider arc/radius for her shock droid.
~LIGHT SIDE~
Anakin Skywalker- Abilites fine as is. Needs pull dominance available to use in-air.
Luke Skywalker- Needs higher health (800). Needs higher health regen (250). Needs increased saber damage (120). Needs increased Rush damage (130-140). Needs increased Repulse damage (150) with damage reduction (up to 50%) tied to star card (replacing epicenter, do 150 damage through it's range).
Obi-Wan Kenobi- Needs higher health (800). Needs damage reduction during Defensive Rush (passive). Needs a speed increase during Defensive Rush (sprint speed). Needs better control during Defensive Rush. Needs all-out push available to use in-air. Needs wider radius of Restrictive Mind trick and a different tone to distinguish between Rey's.
Yoda- Needs higher jump and faster run speed. Needs saber block. Needs Unleash available to use in-air.
Rey- Needs Dash Strike to break block. Needs Dash Strike to change direction faster. Needs HOK buffed to 100.
Han Solo- Needs higher health (700-750). Needs higher health regen (250-300). Needs shoulder charge to break block. Needs regular walking movement speed during Sharpshooter.
Princess Leia- Needs higher health (700). Needs to shoot Alt-Fire and/or Rapid Fire through Squad Shield at cost of Squad Shield life. Needs Blaster Disabler attached to her Flash Grenade.
Lando Calrissian- Needs increased health regen (250-300). Needs X-8 Night Sniper damage buff to regular shots. Needs Smoke Grenade to have adverse effects (movement speed?).
Finn- Needs increased health regen (250-300). Needs damage buff to regular EL-16. Needs damage buff to GLIE-44 during Undercover Team. Needs regular walking/sprinting movement speed during Big Deal. Needs regular (or passive) HOK.
Chewbacca- Needs increased regular health (700-750). Needs increased health regen (300-350). Needs increased radius to Charge Slam. Needs passive damage reduction to Charge Slam (50%). Needs increased damage to Melee (130-150). Needs Charge Slam to break blocks. Needs regular (or passive) HOK.
Please comment and let me know if you agree with these changes. I thought these out for a good amount of time. I think that increasing each heroes health and health regen will allow them to stay alive longer. And the dark side needs increased health as they go against Anakin who's abilities are very powerful.
Cause hero lords just need even easier kills in GA.
I think he meant heroes against heroes should be the same in GA as it is in HvV.
