I tired of punks jumping into a fighter on GA and players on the ground can do nothing to stop them. The Heavy's Vehicle Turret is a joke because the missiles are too slow and only shoot 2 at a time with long cool downs between. If they unloaded all 8 at a time, they might hit something. Nobody uses them because they are that useless. The only thing they can be used for is for is destroying Troop Turrets. Heavies needs something they can actually aim at fighters. Also there could be Repulse Cannons for Specialists.

    Try using Resourceful paired with Ion Torpedo and the Missile tripod for anti air coverage, normal Sentry can definitely help you dealing damage to fighters if they fly directly at you or you can fudge it and to lead your shots and just try engaging them when they get closer to the ground

  • Yeah, its called shooting them with your blasters. If they are a nuisance, just shoot at them nonstop so they have no choice but to fly far away to heal. Or, you can just hop in a fighter yourself and take them out.
    REVERT THE SPEEDER NERF!

    I use a heavy with ion shot on my gun along with resourceful, ion turret, and ion torpedo and I do pretty well against star fighters. The only thing I hate are the bombers because they can heal all their damage even while your are inflicting damage to it. They are very difficult to kill unless a couple people are targeting them. Blasters are pretty ineffective against star ships (but I can't aim for...poop) and I mainly use it to stop/prevent the other star ships from healing their damage. They need to update the turret and ion torpedo to attack those manned turret things on Hoth. What I would REALLY like to see is an anti-vehicle enforcer class. That could be loads of fun.

    I don't play GA to get into fighters. If I wanted to do that, I'd play SA instead.
  • Honesty what really needs to be done is removing passive regen from all vehicles, at least CS and GA. You can leave them, if they become to damaged. A compromise might be only making the shields regenerate. In that case something needs to be done with the astromechs, else they are really op.
