    Mate...settle down a bit! You come across as if you're nagging at me while waving your finger :joy:

    Anyway, I'm pretty sure I know Boba Fett as well as you given that he's one of my favourites. No hero should have the worst health and also the worst health regeneration. Even Finn as 200 regen plus a health increase and damage reduction ability.

    I've met good Boba players many times, and all of them lost to me as soon as I picked Chewbacca. Anakin makes it even harder nowadays. Maybe his air recovery will help, maybe not.

    200 regen would help him in GA, where he isn't a good pick on most maps. One explosion and he crash lands onto the ground and loses almost all of his health. 200hp regen would help him get back into the fight without being wiped out instantly.

    Nah I was just kidding :smile:. For me, Boba has always been the most risky character to use in GA. One wrong move or one unlucky bowcaster shot and that's usually the end of Boba, whereas the other heroes can often walk away without a scratch (looking at you Anakin and Bossk).

    I like a lot of your ideas. Your topic needs bumping back up to the front page IMO. You're right about his abilities - they need balancing because he relies heavily on rocket barrage, which is situationally overpowered, but Concussion Missile is terrible as you say. Hopefully the devs will take notice.

    Giving 90% dmg reduction on Vader during choke is too much on top of his immunity to stuns. He is pretty strong now, and after tomorrow he will be even more. Once he chokes someone, his teammates cant do anything, not even damage him. I also think Yoda didnt need his dash to go through blocks as well. He will be an annoyance to say the least now.

    Will you look at Rey please. She needs some tweaks. Her Dash strike should stagger a block like it used to. Also increase her HoK from 60 to 100 when killing villains. She is my favorite hero but i find her lagging behind now with all these buffs the others have received, but Rey received nothing but nerfs for a year and half.

    Kamino

    The birthplace of the Grand Army of the Republic. Kamino, the Clone homeworld, comes to Capital Supremacy in this month’s update. For details on this iconic location, check out our Community Transmission on it.

    Heroes vs Villains

    Changes to Heroes vs Villains comes this month. The targeting system has been removed, but we’ve also made a number of hero changes based on player feedback and balancing needs. This includes giving Boba Fett more mobility features, increasing the health regen pool for blaster heroes, allowing Yoda’s Dash Attack to bypass enemy blocks, and much more! See all the details below as well as a full breakdown on HvV changes here.

    Additional Changes

    Some other notable changes we’ve made is an increase to the level cap, the addition of the voiceover wheel, and changes to appearance bundles. If you want to brush up on those, read our CT that covered these changes and additions here.

    NEW CONTENT

    FEATURES
    • Kamino - Cloning Facility is now available to play on Capital Supremacy
    • Added an in-game Voice Lines Wheel usable by heroes
    • Raised the level cap for all units to 1000

    QUALITY OF LIFE
    • Adjusted the core mechanics of the Heroes vs. Villains game to accommodate the removal of the target system.
    • Appearance bundles are now moved to the Collection screen. Crystal prices have been reduced and Credit prices have been removed.

    HERO CHANGES
    • Community Request: Any changes to the Victory Poses for Iden Versio, Rey and Count Dooku have been reverted. New Victory Poses for Iden Versio (LOYALTY) and Rey (DETERMINED) have been added and are free to unlock for all players.
    • Community Request: Increased the limit for heroes using Voice Lines at once.
    • Fixed an issue where Lightsaber Heroes were not able to deal damage to an enemy if they attacked while standing in front of thin walls.
    • Fixed an issue where Yoda's and Darth Maul's blocks would stop working if the block button was held before and for the duration of the Dash Attack or Spin Attack abilities.


    BOBA FETT
    • Added the ability for Boba Fett to dodge and recover from pushes while mid-air.
    • Increased base health from 550 to 600.
    • Increased health regeneration from 150 to 200.
    • Replaced Boba Fett's reticle with a dot. Added a yellow circle when using the ability For The Hunt.


    LUKE SKYWALKER
    • Increased Luke Skywalker's base damage from 120 to 130.
    • Replaced the words "empire soldier" with "enemy soldier" on Luke's CLEANSING THE DARKNESS Star Card description.
    • Minor visual improvements to Luke's Force and Repulse ability animation.


    YODA
    • Increased sprint speed to be consistent with other lightsaber heroes.
    • Community Request: Yoda's Dash Attack now bypasses blocks.


    CHEWBACCA
    • Increased base health from 650 to 700.
    • Increased health regeneration from 150 to 200.


    FINN
    • Increased Finn's EL-16 base damage from 45 to 52.
    • Increased Finn's EL-16 long-range damage from 40 to 45.
    • Increased Finn's Glie-44 base damage from 35 to 42.
    • Increased Finn's Glie-44 long-range damage from 25 to 30.


    CAPTAIN PHASMA

    Changes to Captain Phasma's blaster damage:
    • Increased base damage from 17 to 19.
    • Increased long-range damage from 13 to 15 meters.
    • Increased base-range from 30 to 35 meters.
    • Increased long-range from 50 to 60 meters.


    GENERAL GRIEVOUS

    Tweaked values for Grievous' Unrelenting Advance ability to make it more effective.
    • The time between damages for Grievous' Unrelenting Advance was decreased from 0.5 seconds to 0.45 seconds.
    • Damage per second was increased by 10%. The value of the initial damage remains the same as the base damage.
    • Fixed an issue where the time between the first and second damage during Unrelenting Advance could be longer than designed.
    • Fixed an issue where Unrelenting Advance wouldn't register if the player wasn't very close to the target


    DARTH VADER
    • Decreased Darth Vader's stamina regeneration delay from 3 seconds to 2.25 seconds.
    • Damage inflicted to Darth Vader during the Force Choke ability is now reduced by 90%
    • Increased Darth Vader's base damage from 120 to 130.


    OBI-WAN KENOBI
    • Increased the duration of Obi-Wan's Restrictive Mind Trick from 4.5 to 5.5 seconds.
    • Fixed an issue that could cause Obi-Wan Kenobi to get stuck during the All-Out Push ability animation due to a bad connection with the server.


    COUNT DOOKU
    • Fixed an issue where the knockback effect from Count Dooku's Lightning Stun ability would not be applied if its target was in mid-air.
    • Fixed various minor clipping issues with Count Dooku's Victory Poses and Emotes while the "Exquisite Pyjamas" appearance was equipped.


    REY
    • Fixed an issue where Rey's eye colour would change when choosing the Ahch-To appearance
    • Fixed an issue that would show the wrong area of effect when performing Rey's Dash Strike and Mind Trick abilities.


    DARTH MAUL
    • Fixed a visual issue where Darth Maul's Furious Throw would yield an invisible lightsaber when throwing straight forward or slightly downward while sprinting.


    EMPEROR PALPATINE
    • Fixed an issue where Emperor Palpatine could not deal damage to a turret when attacking with both hands.


    LEIA ORGANA
    • Fixed various clipping issues that were visible during Leia's defeat animation while the Princess appearance was equipped.
    • Fixed a visual issue with the texture abruptly cutting to black in the inside of the sleeves of the Princess appearance.


    HAN SOLO
    • Increased health regeneration from 150 to 200.
    • Fixed a minor visual issue where Han Solo's foot would twitch after using the Delusions of Grandeur emote.
    • Fixed an issue where Han Solo would get stuck in the Sharpshooter ability animation if he was stunned by Lighting while using it.
    • Community Request: Han Solo's Shoulder Charge ability now staggers blocking enemies.


    KYLO REN
    • Fixed a visual issue where it would look like Kylo Ren had no face under the mask when inspecting his appearance in the Frontend menu.


    BOSSK
    • Fixed a visual issue where Bossk's weapon projectiles would be seen as shot from Bossk's side instead of the weapon's barrel.


    LANDO CALRISSIAN
    • Increased health regeneration from 150 to 200.


    IDEN VERSIO
    • Increased health regeneration from 150 to 200.


    ANAKIN SKYWALKER
    • Fixed an issue where Anakin Skywalker would express his distaste for sand when playing inside the Capital Ships on Capital Supremacy - Geonosis.


    GAME MODE AND MAP CHANGES

    HEROES VS. VILLAINS
    • Removed the targeting system from the game. The description of the "Choose Your Path" Achievement/Trophy has been changed to "Defeat 50 enemies in Heroes Vs. Villains".
    • Fixed an issue where the countdown timer on the Spawn screen would occasionally disappear before the time had run out.
    • Fixed an issue where changing Heroes in the Spawn screen would occasionally not be possible if the team was full.


    CAPITAL SUPREMACY - GROUND PHASE
    • Replaced the LAAT Transport Ship pilots with Phase 2 pilots.
    • Fixed various visual issues with the Transport Ships showing inaccurately when experiencing high server latency or late-game joining of Capital Supremacy.
    • The in-world icon of a contested Command Post now remains on screen while being captured.
    • Added sound effects when players are contesting a Command Post.
    • Fixed an issue where the accompanying arrow on the in-world icon of the Transport Ship would not accurately point to the Transport Ship while on-screen.
    • Fixed an issue where the Chat window would not immediately show the latest message when switching between the Ground and Invasion phases on Capital Supremacy.
    • Fixed an issue that would inaccurately describe which team is contesting a Command Post.


    CAPITAL SUPREMACY - CAPITAL SHIPS
    • Fixed an issue that would occasionally cause the Capital Ship to appear in a damaged state, even when being boarded for the first time.

    • Fixed an issue where the "To The Last Man" timed challenge would track user respawns as eliminations.

    • Fixed a visual issue where the minimap would occasionally wrongly mark the position of a squadmate.


    STARFIGHTER ASSAULT
    • Fixed an issue where the audio in the intro cinematics would occasionally sound muffled.


    EXTRACTION - KESSEL
    • Added light emission to the Coaxium canisters on Kessel.


    MAP CHANGES
    • Several collision, clipping, VFX, and traversal fixes on the Capital Supremacy - Kashyyyk, Dreadnought, Republic Attack Cruiser, and Galactic Assault - Geonosis maps.


    BESPIN
    • Fixed a collision issue with an asset through which Boba Fett could fly outside the map geometry on Bespin.

    SEPARATIST DREADNOUGHT
    • Fixed various visual issues with texture popping on the MTTs inside the Separatist Dreadnought.


    ARCADE CHANGES

    Implemented several improvements and bug fixes to Arcade AI:
    • Enabled the use of abilities for Arcade AI: Vanguard for Assault, Sentry for Heavy and Infiltration for Specialist.
    • Tweaked conditions for when different abilities are being used.
    • Enabled Thermal Detonator for Assault and Shock Grenade for Specialist. Different throwing frequency per Arcade difficulty.
    • Set Arcade AI to use same collisions as Troopers on Multiplayer.
    • Tweaked Arcade AI cover queries, firing data, weapon data etc.
    • Updated AI navmesh in Kamino, Starkiller Base, Kashyyyk and Bespin. AI can now reach areas that were previously inaccessible for AI in Bespin and Kashyyyk.
    • Changed appearance of Kits in Bespin Arcade to Death Star appearance, based on community feedback.
    • Fixed an issue that had resurfaced, with the AI Starfighters of both teams flying in Out-Of-Bounds areas when playing Starfighter Team Battle.


    VEHICLE CHANGES
    • Fixed an issue where the user was unable to use the Emote Wheel after exiting the STAP or the BARC Speeder.
    • Fixed an issue where the user would be able to see allies on the minimap in the pause menu when deployed in any vehicle.


    CLASSES AND SPECIAL UNITS
    • Changed the face between the models for the Rebel Rocket-Jumper and the Resistance Rocket-Jumper.


    INFILTRATOR
    • Fixed an issue where the ARC Trooper's left pistol had a faster fire rate than the right one.
    • Fixed an issue where the STALKER Star Card would not grant the correct amount of health in any rarity.
    • Fixed an issue where players were unable to see the "Shock Trap" deployed by an enemy ARC Trooper. The projectile has been updated to have infinite active time, be destroyable by blaster fire, and have a blinking light source for increased visibility by allies and enemies.
    • Fixed an issue that would cause the ARC Trooper animation model to break when rotating the camera quickly from above.


    GENERAL CHANGES/MISC
    • Fixed an issue where the Ping Site setting on Xbox would occasionally change to a default value without the possibility to change it. This forced a number of users to play on high latency servers.
    • Fixed a visual issue where the background light panel in the Frontend and End-Of-Round screens would occasionally show up with visible borders around it.
    • Fixed a visual issue where Lando Calrissian and L3-37's Millennium Falcon, would occasionally show up with a missing shader on the Frontend screen.
    • Fixed an issue where the name tag of the second player on the Frontend menu of Arcade would show outside of the background menu frame.
    • Fixed an issue that allowed the usage of the Emote Wheel from the Pause Menu.
    • Fixed an issue where players could trigger the inspection screen for the weapons of Heroes and Reinforcements.
    • Fixed an issue where emotes on the Frontend would not trigger VO when browsing through them as a new player with the default appearance equipped.
    • Improved client memory usage to address out of memory crashes on all platforms.

    Why remove inspector screens?

    I think they buffed Vader bcos on HvsV TDM Dark Side now will need a crowd control character more than before the reworking of the system. And with the damage reduction he can effectively be the crowd controller the DS needs. That will make the 'DS pack' more fearable when confronting a LS pack. If Yoda + Ani + Obi is the 'ragdoll fest/force power fest', the DS needs more than Mauls and Kylos force powers. Lets see how Vader works now in HvsV, maybe the change is necessary given the fact the blasters are now buffed to raise their chances to survive.
    In GA Vader needed that buff to be VADER when on the battlefield. Maybe well see more Vaders now on GA.

    Lets wait to see all the stuff in action.

    Haven't played GA for like 3 months now, gonna be another one it seems...

    You missed out when they bumped his price up to what 8k-12k. Really was enjoyable

    I don't think that would have helped too much, many people would have had plenty of BP once the final phase comes.

    Didn't see any mention of fixing the AT-RT continuing to fire after it's destroyed... All heroes need a generic health on kill card versus the ability health on kill (Iden, Finn, Phasma, Chewbacca in particular). Not sure if the damage buffs on Finn and Phasma's blaster will be enough to make them viable. We won't know until tomorrow for sure. Happy with most of the changes, keep up the good work!
  • Wow, I gotta say I'm really impressed with this update! Lots of long requested changes are being implemented, and what's this? Could it be Arcade improvements? Outstanding! :sunglasses:

    There are still many things I hope to see done, though:
    • Add zoom functionality for Boba Fett.
    • Restore Leia's original Adventure Appearance hairstyle for her game model and profile picture, and make her current hairstyle available as an alternate Appearance with the addition of the cloak she used in the comics her current outfit/hairstyle is based on.
    • Add Appearance customization to Arcade's spawn screen.
    • Add online functionality to Arcade to allow online Co-op and Versus.
    • Allow all blaster wielding Heroes the ability to combat roll/dodge and crouch in Campaign, Multiplayer and Arcade.
    • Add the Star Card UI improvements to the Campaign's Star Card UI.
    • Separate the Default Phase I from the Default Phase II Clone Trooper Appearances.
    • Update the Star Card artwork and Naboo, Theed (Galactic Assault) Clone Trooper NPC models to reflect the new Galactic Republic default Trooper Appearances.
    • Allow Phase I and Phase II Appearances to be selectable for the Galactic Republic Aerial and Infiltrator Special Units, and add all-white armored versions of each as additional Appearances for them.
    • Restore the Hero select animations at the spawn screen.
    • Restore the out-of-focus effect to the pause menu.
    • Update all Trade Federation vehicle/ship game models and Star Card artwork with the correct CIS paint schemes across all portions of the game.
    • Adjust the Imperial Rocket Trooper's game model and Star Card artwork so it accurately reflects their appearance in Star Wars Rebels.
    • Correct the BTL-B Y-wing's structural details and fuselage proportions.
    • Add the missing ion cannon to the BTL-A4 Y-wing's "Defeated by" diagram picture.
    • Add the T-47 Airspeeder's missing Rebel gunner.
    • Correct the RZ-1 A-wing's cannon and engine SFX.

    • Add support for AI Special Units, AI Heroes and AI Hero Ships to Arcade, and the ability to select which are allowed in the match.
    • Increase team limit to 20v20 for Team Battle and Starfighter Team Battle.
    • Add frigates and escort ships to Starfighter Team Battle and Starfighter Onslaught.
    • Portion off each section of all Galactic Assault/Capital Supremacy maps so every part of every map is playable in Team Battle and Onslaught.
    • Add all Galactic Assault maps as well as Geonosis: Pipeline Junction West (open phase) to Starfighter Team Battle and Starfighter Onslaught (I don't think Endor: Research Station 9 and Death Star II: Command Sector North would be suitable, though).
    • Add OT and ST eras to Capital Supremacy.
    • Add Galactic Empire, Rebel Alliance, First Order and Resistance versions of the Infiltrator Special Unit.
    • Add more maps to Extraction, Strike and Starfighter Assault.
    • Allow the AI to use all Appearances in Arcade, and add the ability to select which Appearances are allowed in the match.
    • Fix the clipping glitch with the one side of the large set of blast doors in the corridor connecting the two hangars on Death Star II in Arcade.
    • In Arcade, allow the turbo lift doors to be manually closed on Bespin as well as allow the cantina hologram on Tatooine: Mos Eisley, the retractable bridge on Death Star II and the hangar door on Endor to function as they do in Multiplayer.
    • Add the Afterburner Ability to the BARC Speeder and 74-Z Speeder Bike.
    • Add cockpit free-look functionality.
    • Add the ability to select time of day in Arcade for maps that have multiple times.
    • Add male and female Appearances for all four of the Galactic Empire's, Rebel Alliance's, First Order's and Resistance's Troopers; both of the Galactic Empire's and First Order's Special Units; the Rebel Alliance's and Resistance's Aerial Special Unit.
    • Make all alien Appearances available for all four of the Rebel Alliance's and Resistance's Troopers as well as their Aerial Special Unit.
    • Add more rank pauldrons to all appropriate Appearances for the Galactic Republic, Galactic Empire and First Order Trooper and Special Unit classes.
    • Add Emotes, Victory Poses and Appearances to all Special Units.
    • Replace the Death Trooper's DLT-19 with the E-11D.
    • Free up all Trooper class base Weapons, and give them unique stats and unlockable weapon mods.
    • Add squadron color schemes/markings as Appearances where canonically appropriate for Starfighters.
    • Add a "Scout Pistol" Star Card to the Specialist Trooper, but replace the flash bolt function with scope functionality so it works like how it did in Battlefront 2015.

    Yikes... I got carried away. lol But yeah, I would absolutely LOVE it if DICE implemented all of the above. :blush:

    Giving 90% dmg reduction on Vader during choke is too much on top of his immunity to stuns. He is pretty strong now, and after tomorrow he will be even more. Once he chokes someone, his teammates cant do anything, not even damage him. I also think Yoda didnt need his dash to go through blocks as well. He will be an annoyance to say the least now.

    Will you look at Rey please. She needs some tweaks. Her Dash strike should stagger a block like it used to. Also increase her HoK from 60 to 100 when killing villains. She is my favorite hero but i find her struggling now with all these buffs the others have received, but Rey received nothing but nerfs for a year and half.

    He's way better than his younger self now.

    Wait, what? How is Vader WAY BETTER than Anakin. As far as I know, he deals less damage per swing, has far worse starcards, doesn't have two 360 AOE abilities and doesn't have super fast saber swings, super useful pull and he can't deal some damage through block (well, maybe sometimes when your saber returns after throw, but idk if it works anymore). Anakin ( GA & CS ) is way way way better than Vader. The Dark Lorde will definately improve tomorrow, but won't be even close to little Ani. In HVV, his younger self is also better, but ofc not by that large margin.

    AT-AT targeting still sucks as does not having a warning area when in the radius of its orbital strike.

  • This new Heroes vs. Villains mode are a big trash, *****, like a booring team deathmatch.. WE NEED BACK THE OLD MODE WITH THE FUCKIGN TARGED SYSTEM.........
  • I hate the removal of targets in Heroes vs. Villains. It makes for targeting less experienced players. The target aspect added attack and defensive strategies, rather than just kill. Not happy. ☹️

    Instead of just regular all starfighter maps they should add starfighters and objectives for it like taking out the shields into capital supremacy. Then it would be the ultimate mode everyone has always wanted. Also with artillery vehicles!

    Good to see Vader getting a bit of a buff. He may give me a headache when playing GA from now on but it's an honor to have Vader kick my butt. Better him than Ani. Plus, with more nerfs on the way for Ani in the next hotfix it shall be a day long remembered.

    Please stop doing this, that's why Anakin drives everyone crazy.
    Equivalent to:
    1- Go in the middle
    2- Activate God Mode
    3- Have a walk to regen and goto 1

    I'm ok with "high" damage reduction when escaping, running, ... doing tricks that are a bit difficult to control ... but motionless invulnerability, not ok.
  • when i read that there will be no vehicles on Kamino, i expected the action in CS to be in the second and third phase of GA. Geonosis and kasshyyk on CS was different from GA . kamino on CS and GA is the same map. don't tell me they add red and white lights , crashed ships etc. i watched some HvV videos and i had enough. see you in june on teed. i really really really hope they will not port the GA map into CS without real changes, not only add hiding spots and multicolour garlands in the trees.

    No way. Extraction plays very differently, much more tactical. They just need to have as many mails as it did in 2015, especially Sullust!
  • Ya'll need to add the maps of Pillio and Vardos already. Those were great and they have so much potential.

    Kamino is exactly the same, they shuffled some assets and expanded the map slightly. Ive never programed before and I could do that in a week by myself, they have a whole team and it takes them a month to copy and paste.

  • The voice over wheel is useless, currently.
    Everybody dislikes how the emotes/voice lines get cut off as soon as you move.
    Bring back the target system of HvV.
    Boba regaining flight after being knocked out of the air makes sense as far as having a jetpack goes, but is terrible for gameplay. I recommend removing that ability. He already runs away enough and now he can't be knocked out of the sky long enough for a saber character to try attacking. Guns may be different sure, if you can hit him, but light side doesn't have a guy who can just swoop in and rocket bomb everyone and fly off.

    For Capital Supremacy I still think we should have unseen locations of the planets we have and not the same ones but slightly retouched as you are doing like adding some shattered ships and stuff but the map's the same.
    You made it with geonosis, why don't you make it with the rest? That would make the videogame better
  • new mapS. S. new. mapS. please. These old maps are just that. Old. If you can't tell, most of the community is tired of you messing with the game with clearly no identifiable direction. Your content drops are not well thought out, it's like you throw out whatever you can pull together in whatever limited time you have, not an actual plan. Still waiting to feel like EA\DICE know what they are really doing. Since launch that is.
