COMPENSATION is not mentioned !! ?? What about those of us that have all that maxed out for eons? We paid in hard earned credits for emotes!! We paid in finger aching grind for appearances. We have been maxed out at 70 and 40 for nearly two years!!! What about the all that stagnant reward time we earned NOTHING being stuck at 70 or 40??????? Where is our COMPENSATION??

I agree, but today I saw someone with a level 238 officer on ps4, I also saw a level 89 tank in cs. I wonder why some have this but most don't. When battlefront 2015 raised the level cap it had obviously kept track over the time and compensated for it. Hopefully this will do the same, otherwise it's kind of crappy to lose all those logged hours and get nothing for it.

It isn't showing correct levels, if you are introducing it make it so it works correctly.
  • I know i am late, because the update has happend, but i will write my opinion. I think the level cap increase was a bad idea, almost nobody plays starfighter modes. I have been trying to max out my hero starfighters and then there was the update. Personally i think they should have increased the player level, not the classes. Since they have done it, then it would be a bit useful to be able to increase via the arcade as well, but after having reached the previous max levels, to make it fair for those that have spent their time playing. If the developers did this to give us a new reason to play, then i don't think there is any reason, because star wars is great and those who like this game would carry on playing even after maxing everything out because it is a really fun game. Lastly if they want to add something new, maybe they could try something like a whole planetary assault, starting with starfighters in space an ending with assaults on the ground (combining starfighter and galactic assault). The clone wars series has a lot of planets and stories to draw inspiration from (ryloth, season 1, umbara season 4), or make something like an assault to capture a target (saleucami, season 2). I know i have been ranting about it more than anyone, but i love star wars, as well as this game, and i want to enjoy it (i was like "i max out the strafighters, and then, since i have maxed out everything else and having comleted all milestones, it is time to have only fun in battle, with no milestones or leveling to distract my fun").
  • Is it just me or does the Kamino Clone facility in supremacy seem badly unbalanced?
  • Oh, for leveling up via arcade, the could put armor class in tatooine (for empire), speeder in tatooine and geonosis (rebellion and seperatists), and artillery in kashyyyk (republic), just at a very high cost of battle points (although it's arcade so nobody will care)
  • Somehow when I logged in back in between May 22 and 23rd Chewie, Emperor and Yoda leveled up between 73 and 76 All my heros and villains were leveled up to 40. Not sure why those characters got so high and others were in 40's. Can you level up units and heroes by playing in Arcade?
  • To be honest I could not care less about clown skins , seen one circus you seen them all :open_mouth:

Give us some decent skins like we had in SWBF1 like the pony tail girls and all the others we had in SWBF1 . No stupid scars across the mouth like you ruined the specialist with either ..

Please incorporate the exp gained so far into the golden levels. I only see it on one class, and I think even that is a bug.

    Appearance Bundles

Earlier this year, we added a bunch of appearance bundles for our upgraded Clone Trooper legion appearances. However, when we added these bundles to the game, we did it via the crates menu. We’re now moving these bundles into the Collection menu instead. This should make them easier to find for players new and old (and should prevent accidental purchases from happening).

Moving forward, these bundles will be available only for crystals, though at a significantly discounted rate (more than they are now). Appearances in bundles will still be available to be purchased separately by either credits or crystals.

Can't wait to see this be reversed. What a great way to encourage new players, "Hey, the clone skins used to cost credits you can earn by playing the game but now they'll cost you real money. Isn't that great?". Yeah, no.

the bundles cost real money, not the skins =_= you are crying for nothing here.
  • What's the point of leveling up? Could hitting max rank unlock a new tier of star cards or something

Can we please have this answered? It adds no real value to me especially if you don’t have the option to start over the class or have access to new cards..

I'd like to know what they were thinking about level increases to the current updated number.
At least in Battlefront 2015, you could unlock skins as you leveled up your account. When you seen a Shore captain trooper, you know it was someone who played for awhile and leveled up to the max. Don't get me wrong, I love the new skins for the Clone Troopers, and seeing the blue markings on my Clones for the 501st is pretty sweet, it just feels a bit tagged on overall.
Not to mention all the different variations of rebel heads gave you a bit more customization than what we've been given here.
They should've only increased it maybe 20ish levels, and every 5 levels you could get a new skin or new head replacement.

I understand increasing the max level, and it does add something new to work towards. Since the max level was 70 due to star cards rather than 100, I'm sure some people will like seeing a more normal number. Still, even though the XP requirement after 70 doesn't increase, 1000 is quite a change. Even being a good player, 1000 is fairly far away. If it was added solely to give players something else to get to, its a bit disappointing. After maxing out all starcards, only emotes, victory poses, and appearances are left. With more levels, you can get bonus credits for leveling up again, so earning enough to buy stuff is easier. Prestige systems in games depend a lot on the player. Either they want to unlock things, prestige, and have to unlock it all over again for a tag, icon, cosmetics, permanent unlocks, etc. or simply a higher number by their username. I'm not saying that it is a pointless system (even though it can be annoying.) The way this game is set up, the only reward for leveling up now is credits and eventually "MAX" in gold. I would think that there isn't enough a reward for players that are not scoring in the top few places every match or players that cant play a lot because of how long it will take them. Even playing really well, only being able to level up at most 3 times per game means playing 310 good rounds. That can be less in CS if the lobby is well matched and a game lasts for 4 hours, but will still take a long time. The Clone Wars season was a great season for the game, but I would love to see them add something to reward players more along the way. Either having some sort of reward at certain points, like usable XP boosts that don't stack with game-wide XP events every 50 levels, could be good enough. Maybe add higher levels to the star cards once players reach a certain class level. There are a lot of ways DICE could add a better reward system, and anything would be an improvement.

I agree. If they wanted to make a new goal to motivate players who have maxed out everything and don't play anymore, then i think they should have increased the player max level rather than the classes, since the player rank increases in any mode, and add some credits reward with each level. I think that would be better.

Trooper and Hero Levels Smevels... Give us some more Starfighter Assault maps already! That is most under-supported part of this game. Almost completely ignored. Hopefully the "Next" Star Wars star fighter class game will be a standalone game so it will be updated with new levels and not just some side show to a FPS game.
  • hey Ben, why level 1000 ??? we don't get any credit when we level up... please explain to us why max level is now 1000

Great with more levels.. but I am asking as possibly others would by now... but why? Usually when one gains a new level in a classical roleplay pen&Paper game.. one tend to get a reward and also new skills/skill points that normally comes long at a level increase.

Granted this is no rolesplaying game I know that... but from a roleplayers point of view,, this is what we would expect Jay.

Ergo these new level caps seems to me and maybe others.. pretty pointless and hollow if no rewards drops at a new level.

    Please!
STAR Wars is more like Heros attack random planets right now.
This is especially mind blowing as the current focus, Clone Wars era, had quite possible THE BEST and most epic space battles of any era, and we haven't seen a single update to SA. Literally not one.

Even being able to level up 5 times per game or more if I'm playing C.S. (that's just with the 4 standard classes) to get the 4 classes to the new max, that's at most 736 more games. That's a bit unreasonable for this long after the game came out. If the max level was 1000 since the game was released, I might have the main 4 classes and one reinforcement class maxed by now, but that still leaves the other 2 reinforcements, vehicles, and heroes. I remember 70 was a goal I could see and was reachable for most players. 1000 is just discouraging after a while. I think at about level 200, it starts to feel like a goal that isn't worth the time. For players that are not way above average or can't play all the time, I think the game will die before they can get many classes maxed. Getting enough xp just to max one class is a decent grind. Getting enough xp to max everything in this game is a grind that does not belong in this type of game. Usable XP boosts and credits at certain points would help.

Wow! So, I get to make it to 1000 and then... I still can't roll more than twice in a row or run even a smidgen faster then a 'level 1'? %rolleyes%.
Like, if Schwarzenegger did all that work, Became the Bruce Lee of body building, went to audition for Terminator and they passed him up for Weird Al Yankovic.
    [OK, now somebody CG that]
If you see this, it means I haven't found a game in well over 30 minutes.
    PLAYERS NEEDED: ANY!

Unlimited Levels For prestige and more credits...
More credits For what...? Ah yeah; skins!

So basically nothing effecting the gameplay except My opponents going „wow, high Level“

That no motivation for me actually

I'm really disappointed that all the hours I put in before this update after reaching the max levels mean nothing. It actually discourages me from returning to this game.

It discourages me, too. I have stopped playing regularly because of this. Afterall, i have a life outside of this game. I wanted to max out everything so i can escape my possible difficulties of my life by playing and enjoying, with my only reward being fun and joy, not having something else as a goal. And, like i said before, the timed challenges are a nice aspect of the game for those who want to have a goal to reach, other than the fun of the game. That is just my opinion.

Climb more levels ... stress, just upload new blasters pls

battlefront 2015 had entertainment and more blasters, no stress, only lacked clone wars, if a battlefront 2015 included clone wars, it would be better game than battlefront 2

    One map 6 months ago,
two hero ships that are hardly any different from standard ships
    Another falcon oh boy
No new start fighter modes have been added
Arcade woo... So the same stuff all over again without even less people to play with.

SA in this game is just plain sad. BF2015 had way way way cooler modes (Deathstar!) And lots more flying and vehicles. This game is troops troops troops. It's not star Wars, it's a star Wars themed shooter with a few fun things tossed in to keep up the theme.

How does the community not have Hero fatigue by now?
We've gotten more work on heros than any other aspect of this game. Just look at the same 2 extraction maps for over a year now...
  • I'd rather have the 1000 level cap than 70.

Plenty of good changes have been made to the game since I started playing, but the one thing that sucks is endless heroes in GA. Used to be better when they were 6000/8000, sometimes you could kill a few heroes and the other team wouldn't have any left. Now it seems pointless. GA without heroes would be incredible
