    I had the same problem and it worked for me.

    unfortunately not for me

    I have the exact same problem with not being able to launch the game after this new update...DICE PLZ...

    I have tried to repair the game, restart my pc, uninstall and reinstall origin..

    cannot be bothered reinstalling the tho since i KNOW this is a fault on DICE half not mine..

    here is my pc specs: Intel core i7-9700K cpu, geforce rtx 2080 gpu, 16 gb DDR4 3200mhz ram, and a 1tb mdot2 ssd (and yes i have the game installed on that).

    plz get a fix out sooner than later. other than that perfect update when the game actually worked xD

    Had the exact same issue. I fixed it by deleting battlefront 2 folder in documents then repairing.

    What happens when you try to launch the game? Black screen, infinite loading? Anything?

    the problem is that nothing happes.i press on the icon of the game and after a while origins opens up. Thats it!!No sign of the game.

    Happened to me once yesterday with the assault trooper. Threw a Smart Ion Grenade at it and on detonation my crosshair jumped almost 90 degrees to the left. Platform is PS4.

    Update on this - June 27

    We are going to make some backend tweaks to Capital Supremacy.

    We know the issue is caused during the transition between the ground and ship phase, as a result we are extending the length of the ground phase and shortening the ship phase. We are aware that defence of your Capital Ship will now be more difficult, which is a by-product of this.

    The Changes
    • Increase tickets required on the ground phase from 50 to 100
    • Reduce bomb timer to 20 seconds, down from 100
    • Ticket bonus for boarding is up to 3 per boarding person, up from 1

    These changes will start being deployed across our live servers at 12:00 CEST, in just over an hours time from the time of this post. We're still working on a fix for the overall issue but we hope this will help ease the frustration in the interim.

    Sweet, so these changes are only temporary until the issue is properly fixed? Will still be okay with Triple XP Weekend going on so no biggie.

    Tbh those changes should be permanent. The non-linear ground phase is the most enjoyable part of the mode and rightfully should be longer! Consider leaving these changes please!

    To be honest. In my opinion I find the ground phase WAY more fun than the capital ship phase, so I would prefer these changes to be permanent, but it is what it is I guess.
  • I can see there is definitely attentiveness to these recent bug issues, and that is appreciated. I am seeking to understand, not criticize, but I assume everything goes through all the QA testing, then it goes live. So there have been all kinds of issues over times with bugs, glitches with characters, maps, etc. What causes this? How does everything appear correctly on the dev side & then the players see the bugs and glitches?

  • If anything I think they should vary the objectives in the capital ship just to keep it fresh

    While I understand that this is supposed to give players more time in game by extending the first phase, if you're still going to crash during the boarding phase then you still can't finish a game to get exp or credits. Why not remove the second phase altogether and make it entirely first phase with 200 reinforcements.

    I like the Droideka but having the roll engage on run as well as the left ability button seems like a wasted trick?

    Keep roll engage on run but maybe give a new ability for the left button ...maybe a roll charge, like Hans shoulder charge 😋
  • Haven’t gotten to play on Naboo yet, but the new skins and Droideka are legit and could use a little more health! Outside of that, having 100 reinforcements to get to instead of 50 lengthens the game, good but bad if trying to play a match in under 40 min! That’s how it goes though! Love it! Keep it coming and excited for Felucia coming in the fall!!!:D

    Big suggestion on this I hope you consider @F8RGE .

    Leave these changes applied for at least a week and then create a post for feedback. This temporary fix will give the ground phase much more focus and will give the mode somewhat of a higher resemblance to Conquest. I know you already have feedback for your surveys that we already prefer the ground phase (I don't know by how much) but you could use this as an event.
  • Changes are crap for the defenders on the ship. Sooooooo unbalanced
  • This has been a really fun update. Had fun in HvV, CS (lovin' Naboo), & enjoyed the bonus of double XP. Well done!

    At 12:00 CEST we will be making a change that increases the bomb timer to 35 seconds, up from 20.

    This happened to me as well with the ion missle, though i think it was more lock on than anything. usually if two targets are in the same area and i am aiming at one the other is coming by the reticle will snap to the moving one. This issue has been around for a while so i dont know if it is really an issue now but a "feature"

  • Xbox bug. When selecting an aerial in blast you have to press the button multiple times or select away from aerial then select it again. Sticky.

    Also, wrong characters still telling we are clones etc at spawn.

  • I actually like the 100 tickets on ground phase but once dreadnought's bombs are armed there is not much defenders can do... Maybe finding a middle ground would turn CS more engaging!

    Regarding Arc Troopers, that blast/charged shot really needs a bit splash damage and the stun grenade should take effect one or two seconds more...

    The new tank is nice... A different take on heavy armored vehicle...
  • You guys have ruined Capital Supremacy. It's not merely "more difficult" to defend your ship, it's almost impossible. Increasing the timer to 35 seconds is nothing. Spend all of that extra time on the ground just to win or lose quickly on the ship? The capital ships are the primary draw for this mode, not just an afterthought to claim victory after duking it out on the ground. Thanks for just springing something like this on us with no warning once again and without any chance to give our feedback before you do it. Whatever it is you think you needed to "fix" wasn't important enough to radically alter the dynamic of this mode. This is so gd frustrating.

    well, I guess this question is not worthy of an answer. Two game modes are completely broken since the last update, and it does not get mentioned by any of the moderators. It's like: "Starfighter Assault ..... no comment!"
  • Might i suggest perhaps we dedicate some time to the Original Trilogy era? Specifically stormtrooper customization? I appreciate all we've received but the customization aspect regarding the Empire is basically non-existing and i feel it whilst perhaps not intentional is completely unfair especially considering that there's basically 20+ clone skins for all classes yet for stormtroopers we don't even have the choice to select a default skin ie:snowtrooper on tattoine and there are also armoured officers in the empire so since armoured clone officers exist it'd be plausible to create the empires version of them. Thank you for reading andkeep up the hard work
