  • A few addendums
    1. The Three Shadow Sirens are actually named Beldam, Vivian, and Marilyn.
    2. In Twilight Princess I found a Poe in Hyrule Field, but the sun came out before I could fight it, so I had to wait it out.

I played Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time before going to bed.
    • I got lost looking for the next time portal... and then I went up stairs.
    • I went through Yoshi Village, and met Yoob.
    • Those cloud covered enemies are annoying.
    • I’m not good with dodging, and I have problems with pulling off some attacks.
    • Yoob is supersized by the Shroobs, and eats Baby Bowser, the Mario Bros., and their past selves.
    • I explore Yoob’s insides, and near the entrance there are three color changing switches (one of them is blocked off), and I couldn’t find out what to do.
    • I find a block with a light flying around it, and I tried everything to try and grab it, I then checked online and you have to let Baby Mario jump up after Mario jumps to reach it (note: I needed to look up a video to find it).
    • I defeated Summerside, and it was difficult.
    • I learn the Bros. Ball, and unlock a secret area, the sewers.
    • After exploring the sewers, I follow a mysterious man to his secret hideout.
      and he has fury!

I played Super Mario Odyssey, but I forgot most of what I did, but I think it’s coming back to me.
I grabbed a few moons in the Sand Kingdom. I met Peach, found “the one ring to rule them all” (well, the wedding ring that was once stolen by Bowser), I raced the Koopa freerunners (and it wasn’t that difficult), I found a secret cavern, talked to Toad, completed Koopa Tracing (now, on the first attempt I got 98 points when I needed 80, and when I needed 90 there were a few attempts in a row where I got around 80), I then found a few more moons, revisited more areas, and returned to the Odyssey. I didn’t like how many moons I had, however, so I went to the Lost Kingdom to find a quick one.

  • I found a cheat in Smash Bros were you just restart the game after a challenger then play another match and a challenger will appear after that, every time.

I finally went back to Star Wars Battlefront 2
    • The new HvV is fun but (too) short.
    • In the first match I was Luke and, since I no longer have to hold off on fighting certain enemies (so I don’t steal someone else’s target), I announced that “Now there is no code of honor to hold me back!”... and then Darth Vader chopped my head off seconds later. Also, I couldn’t beat Rey to the killing blow once when we happened to tag team somebody.
    • In the fourth match I was Kylo Ren and Anakin was running from me, so I chased after him and announced “one day you will become Darth Vader, but until then I’m gonna kill you!” and after winning with 30 health I walked away saying “Gotem.”
    • In that same match I had a few bouts with Han Solo. The first memorable one was when I had him cornered, Kylo said “you have lost” and I was about to use frenzy to finish him off... but then he shot me in the face, the second I got him with frenzy, and finally I was hit in the head with detonate charge, and Kylo Ren’s corpse fell into that bottomless pit in the second Death Star.
    • I played some Starfighter Assault.
    • Finally I played four matches of CS, oddly enough I do better with Anakin now than I did before, and though I like the new ground phase, the ship phase ends too quickly, and I hope that it either goes back to normal or has the timer doubled from launch levels once things are sorted out.

I played a two games yesterday.
The first game was Star Wars Battlefront II
    • I played HvV, and I finally found a good Iden strategy... sniping (didn’t say it was an original one)
    • I played Starfighter Assault, and the glitch where my ship exploded happened once, but it was mostly fun (and before that some Strike).
    • I played a really long match of Capital Supremacy, where we went to the ship three times. I played as every unit except for the Assault, Officer, and Specialist (since I wanted to stick to the Heavy) & Yoda and Chewbacca (since I completed their non score related challenges, and didn’t want to waste the BP). The enemy formed an impenetrable wall of Droidekas around the second detonator, and then they boarded our ship and won.
then I played Super Mario Odyssey
    • I played the first VR mission, and it was irritating, but I think I could circumvent the difficulty by getting an office chair.
    • I got everything in the Lost Kingdom.
    • And, I think I got everything in the Ruined Kingdom, but I apparently missed some hint art here and there (there’s 19 in the game, if anyone is curious).

I just played a few missions in Transformers: Decepticons for the Nintendo DS, and it was fun.
I wanted to name my character Megazarak (after the OTFCC villain), but it wouldn’t fit, then I wanted to name him Sideways (after the villain from the Unicron Trilogy), but it was off by one letter, so I dubbed him Sidious (pretty self explanatory).
I played my first few missions, but I must give you a warning. Though combat is simple, if you’re threat level raises too high you will be swarmed by Autobots, and the more you kill, the more show up, so if you decide to level up a lot before moving on “welcome to die,” thankfully your progress (such as levels and scanned vehicles) saves, and changing vehicles will completely lower your threat level (but you can’t do that in missions), and if you’re low on health you could shoot at trees and occasionally they will drop items that you could use.

I played some more Breath of the Wild, and I got all the shields from Selmie (shield surfing is fun and easy if you use the right route), and made my way to the Hebra Labyrinth, I actually managed to flurry rush, and I entered the shrine. Finally I warped back to Kakariko Village, to speak with the Great Fairy. Next I’ll go on the next shrine quest before I have to find more, and go back to Hebra Mountain.

Awhile back I played Goosebumps the Game for the Xbox One, and Breath of the Wild.
I found a shrine in the ruins of Castle Town, ran to Rito Village, and finally solved the Rito Song (But I needed a guide to find out how to finish it, since I didn’t know when the time was right). Then, I warped near Selmie’s to find the door, but instead I found North Hebra Mountain, my shrine radar was going crazy, and I finally found the door on the mountain. After looking it up online, I was able to oven the door, and find the last of the leviathan bones to boot.

Awhile back I played some more Sonic Forces and Breath of the Wild.
In the former I’m improving at the final boss. In the latter I traveled from Hebra to Hateno Village, along the way I found some some shrines, the annoying snowling game (it took so long to get the best prize that I depleted the Master Sword, broke most of my weapons, and had the Master Sword recharge), grabbed a dragon horn, found a snow covered village, completed Leviathan bones, traveled with my horse Lanayru (which is the correct spelling for the land, not what I named Epona in Twilight Princess HD), and I grabbed a star fragment. Once I made it to my destination, I bought and fully furnished my house.

  • Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (2019) by Jersey Jack Pinball.  Oh man, this brand new game is so fun. All the best lines and scenes from the film are here, easily one of my childhood favorite films...."You're turning violet, Violet!"  When the ball is in the pop bumpers, the oompa Loompas begin to sing, and the longer the ball stays in there, the longer they sing.  it's hilarious.  Anyone got 10 grand I can borrow to put this in my living room?

Yesterday I played Battlefront 2 and Hyrule Warriors.
In Hyrule Warriors I finally confronted Ganondorf, the level started mentioned how Link was getting overconfident and charging into hordes of enemies, and I found it funny because that’s pretty much what the game is all about. I also played the game as Impa and Fi, and with Impa I fought Ganondorf at the keep he emerges from and near the end I stun-locked him against a wall just by shooting him with arrows.

I accidentally posted this because the backspace button kept getting stuck, and clicking out of the keyboard makes it nearly impossible to reopen, and while trying to tap the box enough times it may have accidentally posted my comment. Anyways, here are the four swords (and one extra that I remembered).
    1. I found where Link’s heart container was after I beat the stage, so I couldn’t get it.
    2. I got my first 8-bit weapon.
    3. Volga is insanely difficult, the second and third times I fought him he nearly decimated me.
extra. As Midna, I was down to about three hearts, so I ran away to look for hearts and Volga randomly died by my hand (even though I retreated).
    4. Cia’s attacks are really disorienting if you get hit by them.

Yesterday I played some Super Mario All-Stars and I only made progress in Super Mario Bros & The Lost Levels, I tried Super Mario Bros 2 & 3 but it was a disaster (blue flowers that trap you, Red Birdo, and Boom Boom are all horrible.), the next I played Kirby’s Dream Course... and I needed the help of a guide to get a gold medal on the first course, and it still took awhile.
Finally, I just finished playing Battlefront 2, CS was fun until it crashed on Naboo (also I got frustrated in HvV and played some Blast before that).

I’ve played a few more games over the past few days. (Not in order, probably)
    • Battlefront 2
    • Breath of the Wild, where I found Terry Town, a few mini-bosses (including a run in with the Igneo Talus on a small platform), a Goron to help build the town (I checked Goron Town, but a guide said I needed to go to the south mine, but I didn’t find the secret treasure, and the Goron kid is pretty articulate when you find his treasure), ran back to Terry Town, found some silver enemies, nearly died a few times, and now I’m off to Gerudo Valley.
    • Lego Star Wars II for the DS: this game is a bit weird, you have to be right next to someone to swap characters, you can’t break stuff in the hub world, trying to exit Wi-Fi mode softlocked the game on the “would you like to connect” tab because it wouldn’t let me exit or confirm, the bit crunch I heard about is noticeable, and C-3PO looks weird up close.
    • Finally I played Lego Dimensions: I finally got to try the 2016 Ghostbusters story and the RIP stone is weird, (I’ll get into it in more detail later, but if you are in the yellow or pink dimension, and you have a character in the other dimension, you could see their spectral image, which is color matched to the reality they are currently in.), I failed Rule Breaker in Level three, and I was one minikit away from completing the final level in full, but Rowan grabbed me before I could actually look (also, there’s a good stud grinding spot, at the aqua build instead of using I think to put it out, try doing it with a water squirting character. They’ll never permanently go out, but they’ll keep giving you studs). I then explored the hub world and I was one collectible away from completing the collection quest... and when I was about to find it, it reset, so I had to start over. Then two other quests wouldn’t even work, so I had to shut down the console (before that, I had to patch an interdimensional device for a hub world quest, and here’s the weird part. If you played the game, you’d know that you’re in a floating chunk trapped in a dimensional rift, the yellow rift has the original Ghostbusters mention that they’re trapped, implying that it really is floating on the cusp of oblivion, but the other reality has humans trapped by the “Pulsebusters,” which in itself is funny because an NPC will ask if there’s an alternate reality where they’re the ghosts and the ghosts bust them, which is oddly close to this, but anyways once you free the humans they leave the firehouse... implying that they are actually in their home reality, but you only have access to a single area.), I eventually decided to just complete the world... but Kevin needs something done for him that requires a mission impossible character. Then I got the last two rule breaker bricks I have access to (since I apparently didn’t get it in The Final Dimension, but I managed to complete it without using the starter characters). The game also crashed a few times, and I was logged out of Xbox Live twice, but on the bright side my Xbox 360 works again!

  • Just got back from 4 days of pinball camping in the Rockies.  A generator 100 feet from camp, and the machines only about 30 feet from the fire.  The sound of the creek drowned out the sound of the gasoline generator.  What a blast.  Pinball under the stars, man.  We had Iron Maiden (2016), Corvette (1994) and Honey (1972 electro-mechanical).  I haven't been online since last wednesday, and it feels good.    This is a pic I took as we were leaving.  This is near Frisco, CO.

I played Star Wars Battlefront II and Ducktales: Remastered
In the latter game I explored the Moon and Transylvania, and found their heart containers.
It’s weird seeing the older incarnations after watching the newer show, and I thought this Scrooge seemed kinder... until he was willing to abandon Fenton, who is currently trapped on an alien spaceship and was probably going to be killed and eaten, I’m pretty sure.
Also, I think Transylvania has great music.

I forgot to mention that Scrooge said he didn’t believe in vampires, and coming from him I believe him (nope), and when I saw the skeleton enemy I said “it’s Shy Guy” when it reminded me of Dry Bones (it’s like that time AntDude saw Spyro in Crash Twinsanity and said “it’s Sonic,” only that was intentional and funny and this was me confusing the undead koopa with a guy wearing a mask).
Also, I played Sonic Unleashed, and first I played Arid Sands night Act 1, and that was a frustrating experience. First, I got stuck because a purple barrier wouldn’t despawn, so I had to restart, then I went to a side area with a healing wizard, some lizards, and annoying red wasp enemies, I died a lot to them and then I didn’t even have enough health because of the fight before that, so I decided to move on (thankfully the game saves collectibles even if you restart the stage or die and go back to an earlier checkpoint). Then I took on Arid Sands day Act 2 (which, I believe, is a DLC stage) and I learned that I’m bad at quick time events in this game, and the stage was 90% those. Then I tried to find the Act 1 day stage, but when I saw it I found that I completed it (with an E rank), so I took on the boss, who was simple but I took too long to complete it for an S rank and still didn’t get all the medals. Finally I talked to Brenda.
P.S. I first explored the area and tried to take pictures, but Sonic kept attacking people, I was wondering why until I realized I kept pressing X instead of Y (as the QTE comment above alludes to, me pressing the wrong button is apparently a running gag.)

I recently played BOTW and my trek through Gerudo Desert was an annoying series of events.
I kept seeing red and black birds that I could take pictures of, but they either kept flying away, my camera wouldn’t identify them until they flew away, and one time they were near an electric Lizalfos that I had to get rid of before it scared off the birds... but I got a head shot and it barbecued all of them, I never did get that picture. Then I went looking for a Gerudo whose name ends in son in Gerudo Town, but when I couldn’t find her I checked the northern ice house, and when that didn’t work so I checked online and it said she was at an oasis, so I checked the southern oasis but planned on stopping at the bazaar, well I didn’t get to the bazaar and I didn’t find her at the oasis, but I did find a Moldulga so that’s two down. I finally found her at the bazaar and then I set off to Terry Town, but I saw a dragon when I made it to the temple of time, so I tried to get to Lake Hylia But he flew off before I could get to him. I then went to an enemy outpost and took them out. After that I quit for the day.

I just got back from Battlefront 2.
    • First I played some Blast.
    • Then I played around of Strike.
    • After then I played Capital Supremacy and here it goes, the first round was on a ship phase and I wasn’t able to do anything so I quit and when I went back the next round was on Kamino, but it was almost finished, I even used the “uh oh” emote because we boarded the ship and it was almost captured. Next was Geonosis and it was epic! I scored a lot of kills, played as every reinforcement type that wasn’t a hero, and they got on the ship twice but we booted them off and then we boarded their ship and decimated them, I even scored a kill as Grievous (I got gunned down but was able to take one of them out with thrust surge, I tried to use claw rush afterwards but then I died. I probably should have used unrelenting advance instead). Next I quit to avoid Naboo, and was sent back to Kamino, this time as the Droids and I almost called my enemy a clanker, they managed to board the ship but we forced them out them out and managed to board them, I even activated the first detonator and we kept it active, when the other one blew up I shot the sky like in a western movie (or like G2 Optimus). Finally I went to Geonosis and I got a few passionate strike kills and two heroic might kills with Anakin, we also boarded the clanker’s ship and blew it up in one try, I even got 5th place on the leaderboard.

I played Star Cup yesterday, and there was the horrible I was expecting. After that I played Lego Star Wars II for the Xbox 360 and beat the first two levels, I beat the first one without dying but “Through the Judland Wastes” was difficult because I kept sinking into quicksand and in the beginning I jumped into a bottomless pit, because it looked like it might be hiding a bonus area. Like the DS version, you have to be next to another character to swap, so I can’t check a suspicious area and swap at the last second.

I also depleted the Master Cycle Zero.

That is $99.99 less than retail (unless the prices went down from what I’ve last heard), so it sounds like a great deal!

  • Yesterday I bought a lot of games at a retro store and tried Sonic Lost World for the Wii U & Transformers for the PS3.
I got the game because it was the Deadly Six Edition, and I was wondering if the code worked, and it did! I had a hard time figuring out how to do a multi-attack (and died a few times in Nightmare Zone), but then I figured out that you had to hit the jump button to do a homing attack, not Y (I tried it at first, but I don’t think it worked). I also completed the Yoshi’s Island & Zelda Zones.
In Transformers I beat my way through Level 1 as Blackout. I wasn’t feeling it at first, but it’s fun to beat up building and Autobots as a destructive force!

  • I’ve played a few games since my last post. First was the Battle for Bikini Bottom and Breaking Da Rules combo pak for GBA, then in BOTW I finished “From the Ground Up” and witnessed a wedding, from there I recreated Mipha’s weapon and placed it in Link’s house, finally I played Tak and the Power of JuJu for the GBA, and I tried to play it first but it didn’t work. I was able to fix it thanks to advice from someone at Steam. I completed the first two worlds, with help from a guide to ensure I don’t miss anything.

  • I had some time away from battlefront 2 for two weeks and I finished Mario Odyssey, Kamiko (small indy game on the switch for 5 bucks), Pokemon Let's Go Evee and Bayonetta (I'm doing a second run now).
