Open alien skins to all classes, with bundles as is now typical.

Add in the Dresselian and the Ishi Tib. For all classes, with bundles, same as the others.

Color variations on certain aliens would be nice, but not required. Eg, blue Duros, yellow Rodian, etc.

The Phoenix Squadron bundle:
40k ea / bundle for 1000 crystals
  • Assault: blue on blue uniform,
  • Heavy: tan on brown uniform
  • Officer: blue on tan uniform
  • Specialist: blue on blue, but different helmet

The Rebel Ground Crew / Pilots / Navy bundle:
20k ea / bundle for 500 crystals
  • Assault: Rebel Technician (tan jumpsuit, white helmet)
  • Heavy: Rebel Demolitions Sergeant (blue shirt black vest, white helmet with Blast visor down)
  • Officer: X-Wing Pilot (orange flightsuit)
  • Specialist: A-Wing Pilot (green flightsuit)

  • As much as would love pilots as a skin, I’d much rather have a pilot CLASS, that can only be accessed when you exit a vehicle.
The skin would match the corresponding vehicle, thus ushering in AT AT pilots, battle droid pilots as they look in the films, clone pilots, TIE pilots and most importantly, rebel pilots. They would all have a small pistol and their own set of star cards. This would let us have these awesome skins without increased immersion instead of decreased immersion. In addition, vulture droids would land and walk around instead of bailing out.
This is what I want most in the game after GA offline content.

Eh. That's a cool idea and all, but I severely doubt they'd do that. It would require devising a whole new mechanic, for one thing.

I think skins are the way to go.
  • I'm not entirely sure about the Shock Scout, though...
  • To play as a rebel pilot again is one of my dreams for this game. In BF15 I always had to rock the Sullstan in the orange suit.

Right?? Mine was Duros, but still.

And that actually brings up a whole other thing that would be great to see returning to the game -- a differentiation between head skins and body skins, and the ability to mix and match them.

Buy a Pilot body, then put your Sullustan head on it. Or Duros. Or Zabrak. Or Twi'lek.

And this could benefit not only Rebels and Resistance, but other factions too, especially as new skins roll out. If they made some new Officer skins with different uniforms (Imperial ST Officer, Army Officer, FO Major, FO Captain), you could mix and match any of the human heads they offer. Same with potential Imperial Navy Troopers.

And let's not even get into how many options they could add by opening all aliens to all classes...
  • I’m down, but I feel mixed about the separate head and body skins.

    Never forget
  • Leveling up and skins should go together. Gives people pretty darn good incentive to climb those ranks.

100% i honestly liked the skins and the way it was set up in 15 personally. We shall wait and see I guess. But rebel pilot skin would be such a good fit for any hopeful OT season

Did you dislike it in EABF1?

Absolutely!! I've been saying this for years. Having some skins locked to class level and/or player rank would be a great way to make level and rank actually matter.

How amazing would it be too, for example, start out as a Stormtrooper Officer default skin with the black uniform, then when you achieve officer class level 70 you can unlock an Imperial Army Officer with an olive uniform... and further:

Officer level 150 - Army Officer with field armor
Officer level 300 - Imperial Navy Officer with a gray uniform
Officer level 450 - Navy Officer with field armor
Officer level 600 - an ISB Agent with a dark grey uniform and black pants, field helmet
Officer level 750 - TIE Pilot
Officer level 300 - an ISB Officer with a white uniform and black pants

    And so on!

Assault Stormtroopers could unlock the black Corporal pauldron at level 70, the white Sergeant pauldron at 300, the orange Captain pauldron at level 600, and the red Commander pauldron at level 1000.

Heavy Imperials could get the Navy Gunner at 70, the Tank Trooper at 300, the Tank Commander at 600,and the Shock Trooper at 1000.

Imperial Specialists could get the Snow Scout at 70, the Sniper Scout (mottled gray markings on armor) at 300, the Stormtrooper Sniper (a Stormtrooper with a gray pauldron, maybe a hooded poncho) at 600, and the Storm Commando (all-black scout armor) at 1000.

Officers in all factions would have ranked skins, easy to make too (just recolors).

It would be amazing. Plus it would probably fund the game for another good year or so.
  • Dresselian bundle (all classes).

    Ishi Tib bundle (all classes).

Agreed! I've been wanting to slot heads onto uniform options regardless of class for a long, long time. They could add more uniforms and human and alien heads, and I would be completely satisfied.
  • These skins are already in the game files, they just need to unlock them for use!
