I'm a girl, well woman now, and when I learned to snowboard I was purple from the waist down with bruises. The name just stuck :-)

This has nothing to do with the thread, but I'd just like to say that I finally got my girlfriend to play online with me and you were the first person she freaked out on for killing her.

    It was nothing personal ;-)

  • Name is actually my gamer tag, but it came from my love of the Assassin's Creed series. At the time, AC II came out and I was playing it for awhile but I was also looking to change my original gamer tag that I chose on a whim when I first got xbox. I like to play tactically, and I loved how whenever you would ambush or attack the enemies would shout "Assassino!" It was more fun than just plain "assassin." Besides my love for the games it fits my play style extremely well when I play shooters because I tend to flank a lot and surprise players as well as pull off some crazy stuff (been playing games a long time). The 37 is just my favorite number.

Only bad thing is occasionally people on Live think I'm Italian or Spanish based on the name.
    Valid Token Confirmed.

My real name is Benjamin, and another guy in my class in school was also named Benjamin. Everybody called him Benna so people wouldnt confuse him with me, but then i didnt feel special and i wanted to have a nickname too. People at first started calling me Benjamin Barrel after we had a class about rhymes, and i hated it so much and Benna was so perfect, that in the end i started to make people call me Benna 2. Luckily, the guy moved away after a year or so, and then i just started to go around to people and say "you can call me Benna if you wanna( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)" and then people just rolled with it. This all happened in like first grade or something

Oh, and the 007 was added when i made my first username and i needed numbers in my name, and a friend told me that 007 was a cool guy only grown ups was allowed to watch so i just rolled with it. I also mispelled Benna with Bena but i didnt want hundreds of accounts with different names so i didnt change it.
  • mine has a few meaning really-cobra-nickname/callsign,which been around since i was a teen, and another with that is well,gi joe,and sith well ya know....star wars, plus only movie set i ever been on was ROTS ,and ive had it since the beginnin of ps3,which another reason i picked is dircectly aimmed at vader and star killer,

Since I was little kid I've loved stories of gods and their 'magic'. Creation mythology stories are my fav but I also love all the Roman and Greek gods, as well as the Egyptian gods, etc (even have a couple of cool smallish statues of Anubis and Bastet in my room).

Have also gone by nicks like 'Q' and 'Cerberus'... but I chose, and stuck with, Godling because I thought is was most ambiguous. The name comes with no character/role baggage. Cerberus was a favorite because he's essentially a neutral player... a guardian only really. I think the nick Godling is also kinda neutral... it speaks to potential perhaps... but 'our' potential... as opposed to just mine. We are all 'Godlings'... I'm just one of the few with enough chutzpah to actually call myself one. o:)

I wanted sock full of quarters but it wouldn't fit, neither would sock full of pennies. but Sock_Fulla_Sand fits.
It refers to putting any kind of reasonably weighty items into a sock to make an improvised cosh :)
Traditionally, this would've been sand to make an improvised blackjack or sandbag.

Also made famous by Jay and Silent Bob in Mallrats, with Bob's sock full of quarters to take down La Fours (with hilarious results)

  • Well my name on the forums is wrong for some weird reason.

It should actually be ThePronato, no f-ing idea why it isn't that way, but whatever.

It's a wordplay on my name, with the first syllable being replaced by "Pro", though the name wasn't my creation, but comes from a time in school, where I and my gamer friends would basically substitute the word awesome with pro. E.g. This food is so pro, I could eat it every day. One thing lead to another and one day my name was conceived,

I then decided to use it, when I started my first Xbox live account as I found it really applied to me, not necessarily because of my motor skills in games, but the sometimes rather unusual tactics I'm using to outwit my opponents.

  • Didn't have a mic for the longest, so in games like Battlefield or CoD, I'd just kill and never speak a word to my team or squad mates. Now that I have a mic, in games like RB6: Siege, people comment on my name and .i like to never speak unless necessary and dominate the score board

Mine comes from playing mmo's for almost 20 years. My main is almost always Scinful (and is usually and assassin or ranger type character.) All my toons have "s" sounds in them that are spelled with sc. Scinful, Scanguine, Sciegfried, Scultry, Sceditious. Just a way that people I have played with before can recognize me in different games.

Webn8tr has been my nickname since middle school.
I used it for Xbox live, steam, origin, LoL, and now ps4.

  • Was in a team called [GOTCHA] in 1996
    Started in swat3
    members tags where like
    [GOTCHA]Running
    [GOTCHA]Sucka...all word play as such.
    I was [GOTCHA]Shifting
Mainly because in Swat3 the shift key was like a dodge move
Had about 20 members for quite a few years which evolved into ut99 and ut2k3 and dabbled in counter strike
At some point our team split into 2 factions..
Some stayed as [GOTCHA] Some of us broke off and made Team DaDa...
    As in who's your DaDa?
So I changed into DaDa Shift
At this point the ps3 came out... and consoles started playing online
    [10 years later than pc.lol]
So when I got a ps3 the only email I had at that time was a dada_shift account...so I registered in 06 or 07..don't remember.
    Been that ever since
  • The forum handle is a combo of my initials and what my friends call me. I play for a socal punk band called The Walking Toxins...hence stagename. Psn I go by N3R0 which I used in og battlefront and ever since. Tho I had to add letters to get it so I added vVv as an homage to what was probably the best clan in the og series when I was playing. I see an old nemisis play from time to time...jog tom. Me n him used to have epic jedi battles between yoda and grievous. Originally the nero name came from this fascination of 666, occult stuff I was into as a kid...some claim the whole bible reference to 666 and anti christ was actually about Emperor Nero.

My XBOX name was really bad, so when I got PS4 I combined my love of Star Wars with something different and the year I was born. I spent quite a long time looking up words meaning evil, dark etc. Eventually I found the word "odious" which means unpleasant or vile. So my name is DarthOdious2002.

    Darth = Star Wars related
Odious = The name I would use if I was a Sith - meaning unpleasant
    2002 = The year I was born
  • Um, i dont have much of a description for my username. Usually on forums i tend to make a name out 2-3 things i like, this time it ended up being Tigers and Serpents.

    Tiger + Serpent = Tigerserpent.

the reason is unknown, i honestly don't remember why.. maybe because it sounds good.

I made this profile when I bought my PS4 just to play Battlefront (hadn't played video games for nearly decade before that day). Wanted to make something SW related, so I took my favorite moon and food, and put them together.

Who would win in a fight, the UNSC or the Rebel Alliance? I'm not gonna consider UNSC v Galactic Empire because that's unfair for our Terran friends.

That's a tough one, but I tend to think that the spartans would give the extra edge that the UNSC needed to win. After all, that's why they were made...to put down insurrectionists :) ... It could probably go either way, though.

You're probably right. I'm pretty sure the UNSC had a bigger fleet anyway.

The only advantage the halo universe has is their fleet. Thats it. A single Force user would kill every spartan.

That may or may not be true. I note that you said force user and not jedi or inquisitor.....Regardless, though, both spartans and force users are very small groups in comparison with the rest of the respective side. No matter which side you take, though, this conversation is just a very light side note in someone else's thread about a different topic. So, let's keep it light-hearted, please :)
