    I lost count.

After a few games to figure out how to put points on the board I got one every game.

Every match I played without fail

Not really that difficult was it
  • Rey once.

    Maul five or six.

    Falcon once.

Same. Even still learning the mechanics I was able to snag a hero after the first couple guys took their turn.

  • Fairly often, got to the point I was using points to try out all the other stuff instead, just to try it all out!

I had the option to play them in most matches, but after I tried them all out I generally preferred to just play the regular troopers/starfighters. Poe's X-Wing is the only hero class I played consistently.
  • Once I got the Battle Points figured out, it was a regular occurrence. The only Hero I was unable to jump in as was Poe's X-Wing.

There is certainly a level of "shoot at ME! shoot at ME!" about spawning in as any of the battlepoints characters that makes them unattractive.
  • I think I got to play as Boba Fett and Han Solo a good 5 times each, Darth Maul 3 times and Rey once. Then for hero ships, Slave I once, Scimitar 3 or 4 times, and Poe's X-Wing 3 times.
Don't click unless you want to know the truth....
  • Hard to count. Much more in the starfighter or Strike modes, but then again, that's where I spent most of my time. I'd definitely say I got them enough. I didn't feel like the game was being stingy with them. Played Han Solo, Boba Fett, and Darth Maul on Galactic Assault; all the starfighter heroes; and the Wookie (lots and lots of the Wookie). All were great.
  • 3 at strike assault.
    never in galactic assault.
    every time in starfighter assault.
  • Once or (rarely) twice every game of GA and SA
  • Once. In Theed I played as Rey and died in less than five seconds when I attacked someone. I did some RUSH move with her and it left her so completely vulnerable I was dead before I could attack a second time. Not complaining, just being honest. I found it extremely difficult to reach even 3,000 points in any given match, and I'm a PTO player. I don't currently play a lot of bigger modes in SWBF15, usually smaller CQC, so I'll be playing a lot of HvV just to play as a hero for fun I'm sure. I love star wars so I will be playing this a lot at launch to try and get good.

  • I blame my lack of points on not being able to hit anyone with blaster fire. I play on PS4 and have aim assist on, but I can't hit anything without sheer luck and what seems like 10 shots to their torso or head. In SWBF15 I can get headshots fairly easily. The learning curve will be high but that's OK I'd rather it be tough than easy.

  • Many times. I usually opted for reinforcements instead but I usually had enough points to use a hero 2-3 times a match.

I say learn how to kill with the Assault of Specialist shotgun first. Then the officer pistol. Then the Assault rifle, then the Specialist rifle. Learn how to kill up close and work outwards, it'd alot easier for people to understand than the other way.
  • too many times to count. thats why i dont understand why people complain about the battle system and the health not regenerating fully. people had multiple oppurtunities. if i had a half decent game, id be a hero by the end. if i had an awesome game, id be a hero in the first phase. if i had a ***** game, id have enough points by the end but not enough for a hero.

    love the new system

Every game. 2 times a game sometimes. I averaged total a good 8-9k battlepoints a game. At least 4 times I was over 10k. I could even buy other special units and still get heroes, so to gain battlepoints I think they have it down perfectly. They almost give out too many. B)

  • I got them enough to convince me it wasn't impossible, and that was enough. Once i figured out how the system worked, I was getting them almost every game. Have to admit, at first, I thought I would never get to play as them, but that didn't last long. Just takes practice, and most importantly, playing the objective.

My buddy had that happen when he was finally able to get Slave 1 during Starfighter Assault, he was still salty days later after that lol.
  • 0

Not because I was unable, but because I rather spend 2000 BP for Jet troopers than 5000 per 1 Hero.
  • Maybe twice. I didn't care to play a hero. I'd rather play a heavy. i really wish there was something I could have done with my points though.
  • Poe's X-Wing I got quite a lot, nobody seemed to have wanted to play it.

Maul I got a grand total of 5 times, people'd get enough points and refuse to spawn to get Maul.

Boba I got a few, again same thing as Maul.

Rey I got a total of 10, enjoyed her when I got her.

Han Solo I played once, never again. Don't like how he handles right now.
  • Managed to try Rey and Maul once then Boba and Han twice. Also played Maul multiple times in arcade.
  • Once I figured out the objectives I could do it every time. Sometimes people would be the heros already so I couldn’t select them but points weren’t the issue. I had a few games with 5 kills on the scoreboard and 5k points.

I will try that, thanks for the advice.

    It could have been worse.

  • In Starfighter Assault, a number of times. In Galactic, not so much. Didn't really want to.
  • I prefer troopers so only a few times, spent my points on jet troopers or battle droids. Flew the hero ships a lot though.
  • Hero ships (at least the ones in my matches) always get seriously targeted and trashed lol. Glad I prefer the class ships anyways.

I played as a Hero almost every time I played Starfighter Assault and at least once in several Galactic Assault matches. Many times have I been able to accumulate enough points to respawn as a hero in Starfighter Assault.
"In my book, experience outranks everything."
  • Hm. I got hero when I wanted one, but it depended on how much I wanted one before the palace. If we got to the palace it was a coin toss if I wasn't already a hero. I'm not interested in sitting on spawn waiting for them to die.

I got to play as maul a lot more than I got to play as Rey, dunno why.

Every time I spawned Han i got killed by someone who flanked me in 2 shots.
  • Quite a few times. Took the first try or two to realize that you can't just rush the enemy as a hero because you will die in 5 seconds.

You can’t play as heroes is Strike
  • probably close to 20 times, when rey wasnt available i used the ATRT lol it was better than the hero lol
  • Yea I lost count. Usually though if it was a full match and I had specialist I could get enough by halfway through the match a little before the palace. If I was experimenting with other classes it was a bit harder. Once figuring out the binocs for specialist count towards assists it was simple to tag and shoot then displace. It was fun until I ran into a loot crate wall and was waiting to get more cards for the class I like the most. Never got as far as I hoped with the specialist. But all the other characters were easy to get cards. Was very weird to say the least.

Bout the same if I wasn't checking out new stuff. I personally liked the battlepoints sytem.

Awww yea! That thing was quite fun! It has a big weak spot though that is simple to figure out.
  • Like a lot
  • My friend and I got one every match; he was maul & I was boba
  • On ground maps zero (I did get to 5000 points a couple of times but they were never free). And in space 4 times
  • I'm amazed you all had the interest in GA on Theed to be frank !....uninspiring as it stands?

I put in 36 hours and nearly every game i played except space flight i had an opportunity to get a hero...(other than the first night cause i thought points were based on kills).....but cause only 2 were available in the beta alot of the time they were being used,so i used what was available....i am curious how many will be available on release in MP.

I'm not sure it was so much Theed I liked or being a droid and listening to the chatter. The clones were more of a chore to play as after a while.

The other factions were so dull to listen to.
