In The Last Jedi challenges he has get 50 kills with every trooper class and Play 5 matches of Blast.
While I only have the 50 kills with each trooper.
Am i the only one not getting this challenge? Are we getting separate challenges in the near future?
I guess it'll be about the skill of the players, not the number of player choosing one side...
If 1000 join TO while only 50 join the resistance it wouldn't be fair for them...okay I personally don't need fairness, I'm TO, we win anyway, but I guess they'll make a win by average not counting points

I think the winner is determined by which faction completes more challenges
Lets stay with my example of 1000 TO/50 restistance.
If there are like 10 challenges at all and 1000 TO do 1 challenge each while all the 50 restistance player do all 10 they loose because nobody chosed restistance? xD
I hope they do it with average challenge per player.

With the numbers of 1000 to 50, even if all the FO only did one challenge, that would be 100, and the Resistance would only have 5, lol. I think it'll be based purely on nunbers, it just depends on which side people want to join. Obviously the side with the more people will have an advantage. Its like those faction wars from MKX (if those are even still a thing). Nearly everyone joined the Lin Kuei, and literally no one was Special Forces. People are just gonna join the cooler sides, lol
Resistance !
If they do it by numbers, I guess many will join FO and will outrun the resistance (Lol, just like it always was)
If they do it by average per player it would be independent from the numbers of players joined.
It would be all about the skill.
In my opinion much bettter than just counting numbers. Like you said, it would be like MKX or other games (Final Fantasy XIV had a PvP with 3 fractions and one of them were like 80% of all player until they fixed it with an fraction independent mode).
We'll see.

The Dark Side is quicker, easier, more seductive... And I'm a lecherous, lazy *astard.
You choose a faction to earn rewards for, not to specifically play as. Besides, then you'd be playing defense 2/3rds of sequel era matches
That's not how it works. That's not how any of this works.
Because good is dumb.
Now if this was a competition counting the most kills by the side you are aligned with, then I could see it affecting gameplay.
I think you misunderstand the point. 20 vs 12 is not a fair fight. It has nothing to do with K/D ratio for an individual player. I also believe the objectives ultimately make the win/loss. The K/D can be better on the losing side if the don't complete the objectives. Just my take on it.
My bad, I wasn't responding to you. But since we're here. Mismatches happen in all multiplayer games, there isn't much you can do about it besides implement a system to punish quitters.
Only fair way I can think is by participation percentage. That way regardless of how many players are on a specific side, if the percentage of challenges complete are higher in one faction then they win.
You have no Rebellion to build then, because you have none. Your "new hope" came and went, leaving your pathetic Resistance floundering while the brain-dead "New Republic" got annihilated. The Rebels before you were actually a challenge, unlike you. Our pure, untainted, factory made technology will sweep away your second hand amalgamations. Hail to the First Order! Hail to the Supreme Leader!

Because.
I always love this argument hahaha
When you can choose between a good steak and cyanide you choose cyanide because nobody else do, right? xD
Oh man, love guys like you, but because of the steak/cyanide thing, there aren't many of you left

It would still not be all about skill though because from what I've seen so far all these challenges ask of you is to play for a certain amount of time in a certain gamemode and with a certain class (smart way to force people to try all the content in the game).. Of course a more skilled player would finish challenges like get x amount of kills faster, but if a lower skilled player puts in enough time he or she will finish them too eventually.. 42 days is plenty of time to get 50 kills with each class, even if you suck..
P.S. What's the difference anyway?
HIGH GROUND!!!!
abcde
You are one of those people that Hate Ripley and Sarah Connor?
sounds about right...
The FO may have far superior weapons, armor, starfighters, equipment, technology, and training but we have hope! That’s all we need!

The freedom to kill others who aren't on your side in peace?
Sounds not that "lighty" to me.
Peace comes with order!

Nope.
On that note:
GLORY TO THE FIRST ORDER!
WE WILL WIPE THE SCUM OF THE RESISTANCE FROM THE GALAXY!!!
Also, this is made of awesome ^
Also what is this "rebellions are built on hope", and "we have hope" stuff about? It sounds absolutely meaningless to me. What is so special about having hope? Anyone can hope. I'm sure the people of the First Order hope as well.
They have "hope", we have Snoke
Officer of The Knights of Gareth
Lol that was gold
Mmhm. How's that harassment suit for 'General' Calrissian going? Lol. Just keep on looking up future kamikaze fighter. Keep on looking up so you don't see how the Republics own weakness and blind eyes brought you here on this razors edge. Fortunately before they do it again you'll already be one with the force I'm assuming.
Thank you for your valued contribution.
For real though, I was halfway hoping that choosing a faction would lock you to playing that faction for the duration of the event. I feel like that would really provide a larger scope and really hype up for the movie.
On the other hand, those that would want to play both sides would be out of luck. Maybe there could be a third option to opt-out of the event and play the "mercenary" role in exchange for forfeiting the event prize
