Patch Incoming! (Update 1.1 is Live)

Just wanted to provide a quick update on the upcoming happenings as we have seen a flurry of tweets from Dennis becoming the 'Yes' man in the last few hours. We have a patch incoming; it's going to address more than a handful of items and misc. bug fixes. This patch is in the approval stage and should arrive soon pending those approvals.
As a small peek at what you should expect:
- Hero tweaks
- Wookie Warriors tweaked
- Trooper tweaks (Specialist, Heavy, and Officer)
- Weapon tweaks
- Bug fixes
and a lot more...
We will go into full details on each adjustment and tweak once the patch is released, so stay tuned for the official date announce of that going live. We will publish downtime and the full patch notes here once available.

I'm sure they are toning down the points given through their buffing abilities.
Or a slightly decreased Supercharged Sentry rate of fire or increase in start up time.

While I hope it comes out sooner, I personally am not expecting it until Monday or Tuesday. They may still have to do some rework to get their approvals

- Buff Iden: Droid Shield to protect against most things, and make Stun Droid a near-instant thing.
- Fix matchmaking so that I don't have to play Kashyyyk 27 times in a row!

I hope that is sarcasm coming from you.
If Luke gets another nerf, he should just be one of those background characters running around screaming. Because I don't see any possible way to make him weaker.

The way you are posting doesn't seem very much. I even heard about you saying he was one of the worst heroes in the game before. That's that too.

Honestly, I wouldn’t even be surprised. He’s already bad. Just make him unplayable...
That would make my year right there if it is and it's still January !!!
We ban and deal suspensions daily. Our team is always working to get better at tracking cheaters, but we can verify a lot of complaints are players merely being outplayed. But we do have work to do here, and we will work to make the battlefront fair.

The paranoia and accusations are spreading. All it takes is a single cheater to cause players to lose faith and mistrust the fairness of being outplayed. It's exhausting.
Nice to see your words that the team is taking action, but if that's all we see on just a few occasions I doubt it'll stave off that paranoia.
Blizzard has adopted a zero-tolerance stance and taken legal action against cheat makers and won, which I'm sure has done wonders at discouraging people from making a livelihood out of this. They also used to (and may still) make public announcements when they've banned large numbers of players. These stories often went viral and spread the word that they're aggressively shutting people down.

It's true enough. I've seen some good PC players BANNED since the first Battlefront game, when obviously they were not to be hacking, most notably Tesko249 as far as I remember.

When are micro transactions coming back, you guys are going to need funding if we're to have any hope at getting community requested heroes? I anticipate your next announcement on this.

Wait so You think the Nerf Herders aren't getting outplayed? They more than likely are. This proves my point. Most of the whiners on here are just outplayed. But we nerf anyway?
And that will still be the case after these changes, which will just lead to more changes, which will ultimately result in BF2015.
