When can we expect a new patch

The last patch was a small step forward but insufficient. When can we expect fixes to the heroes ( fix Palpatine and Leya already). Weapons- 1.1 didn't do much. Blurgg is still out of hand while heavy, assault and specialist weapons need a buff. Class balance also needs attention since the points you get with an officer are 2-3 times those of other units, not talking that officers abilities are OP in general.

I'm fine with waiting as long as I have a general idea of what is being fixed.

  • Don’t agree with what you said but good question nonetheless.

Hopefully we get something close to bi-weekly patches. Tuesday would be great.

Haha so why ask for a patch to fix something that will no longer exist in another month....by your reckoning.
  • Here's a fan and business perspective:

I played this game for 3 weeks (didn't play the 2015 edition), loved the game but i got extremely bored with GA (Among quite a few other issues) so I went back to Battlefield (I'd like emphasize that I really loved Battlefront 2 for the 3 weeks that I played it, and you should be concerned that someone who enjoyed the game got bored so fast).

That said, what I find so odd is EA/Dice made it a point that they will never again (and this is documented in investor calls) go through a period similar to October 2016-March 2017 where Battlefield 1 got so little content that it lost thousands of players (Who never returned). If this is the 'Live Service' you're going for, its a FAIL so far.
It does seem very inconsistent. We had a dry period of a month around the holiday then a client patch then a server side patch the next and I was hoping that would continue. Then there’s the holiday playlist that we never got.

Although I think fail is a bit to far since we are getting content more frequent then Battlefield or Battlefront 15 with the dlcs.

The live service system is promising yet needs polishing.

  • Every patch do not give us anything new. Right now this game price is 20 dollars. Give us all dlc in one moment everything what u do and u will do.

Yes, it's a very useful feature. I'm glad they added it.

By the way, it seems the forum is finally getting some love in terms of tools. The upvote system and now a dev post tracker.
Yea I have briefly seen the Battlefield forums and noticed they had more features then ours. Glad they’ve been added.

They said the same things in the SW:TOR forums for the last three years. Little "fixes" here and there, nerfing abilities then having to go back and "rebalance" everything because of said nerfs, and hardly any new content.

I would love to see Microsoft take over the Star Wars IP because EA has screwed up too many times. If Microsoft does buy out EA (and break them apart into smaller companies, payback's a . . . ) there will be cheering heard around the world. Nuff said.

Microsoft taking over wouldn’t necessarily improve things for players.

  • The only desperately needed nerf was to SCS and bobafetts rockets. Now it's all just minor tweaks here n there.

  • How do you expect that we can enjoy playing game with so many issues? With 120 developers you work to slow. After 3 months of nothing we still got nothing but "working on it" and " soon".
  • The team is working on an update (1.2), but we do not have an ETA currently.

OK, but I hope it will arrive in February..
  • bring balance to the SCS

What does the feature mean? That they have commented on the post?

It will, because they already announced aerial cargo for february as a limited time gamemode.

I've also been hearing about Microsoft taking over EA. I think we'd end up with a more honest product from Microsoft though, as EA have been shady for years with their communication.

    My prediction:
    02. 28. Patch 1.2 with cargo mode.
    03. 31. Info about progression and season 2

Rest of february: few "soon" and "working on it" tweets.
  • Small request - when we unlock a weapon attachment during a game, we have to wait for the game to end - quit out which is a problem as the quit out is bugged again, then go claim it which we cannot do right now as that is still bugged (maybe only xbone?) then get into a game and hope it's not an empty server or lopsided teams or lagged out...sometimes the black screen of death which means restarting the xbone and that's 5 mins of loading and the white noise and the half-black-half-white screen which has to be a bug or something because that is awful loading and all that to try out the new doodad we unlocked for the by grinding kills and not ptfo'ing...unless it's blast.
Simpler method - if we unlock an attachment for a gun it should be ready instantly upon next spawn - not all the rigmarole. Too much trying to make things work when it should just work, should be simpler.

Hahahaha... this is the mentality of children who close their eyes and believe no one can see them... Just because you will not be playing in March says nothing about the proclivities of the broader player base. But, if it makes you feel better, sure... in March this game will have no more players unless EA/DICE heed your warnings!

And this is the mentality of a player who doesn't already have a stack of DEAD EA/Dice titles in his library so I feel your concern.
